To promote idleness, promiscuity and a bit of insanity in order to derail men from the truth! |
You can hardly point to ONE performing minister in this cabinet. It is either the guys are very good but their boss isnt allowing them perform or that the bunch are truly incompetent. With the likes of Enelamah, Adeosun, Fashola in this cabinet I think the former is the case. PMB needs to check himself. Get rid of low performers and allow the top performers some room to operate. Important. |
The World will end soon. The signs are OBVIOUS. The wise must run to Christ now. Dont be fooled. Its time to run to Christ, the true Saviour. |
WhiteSoup:Did you mean Atiku & Tonto Churchill? Would it not be nice to have a woman? What a brilliant suggestion! Dasuki & Deziani would also be another smart one. Call it D-square - Changing the Change! |
Happy birthday to Nigeria's best Vice President and best Acting President. Humble to a fault. Extremely hardworking. Ever amiable. A shining light and a beacon of hope. Thanks for showing it clearly to everyone that you dont have to go into government to steal, but to lead. May your effort in bringing about a new culture in Nigeria yield maximum fruits. God bless you sir and reward you with His own birthday gift to you. |
Use your eyes. She was not kneeling. She just bent to speak to him. That's normal. If she stood straight it would appear she was talking down on him. That would be a wrong body language. |
Every uniformed body wants to be on the road! How lucrative? So before you travel 30 minutes you would have been stopped and checked 5 times by agencies, and now Customs too! How lucrative? |
They should scrap the move completely. They want to create an avenue for Customs, Police, VIO, Task Force, Road Safety etcetera to continue to terrorize citizens and levy them anyhow. I cannot understand why we want to continue to give the impression that Nigeria is a zoo! It is unheard of, anywhere in the world that Customs will be asking for duty after cargoes have been released by same Customs! Let us call it what it is - Senseless. |
Kwarrect! |
What is his answer to the allegations of judges taking huge bribes, or any bribes at all, from lawyers and defendants? What is the answer to this presumed great menace that can inflict huge damage to the Judiciary and to Justice itself? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Nigerians are asking for answers. Strange that the Senate did not ask that question. Strange, but not a surprise at all. |
loveanonymity:You may be unaware of its spiritual implications. Seek help now. |
MrMaestro:How do you nationalise DSTV? A company that beams its programmes from South Africa? Would Nigeria nationalise a satellite that is wholly owned by a SAF company? |
Honourable Senator, why open your mouth so wide to proclaim what you can never do? For every 1 South African you have in Nigeria, you have possibly 500 Nigerians in South Africa! Go to the root of the problem and find a sensible solution.... South African government massivley helps South African companies to establish mega businesses in Nigeria and other places. Nigerian government has never been known to help any business, at home or abroad, so Nigerians go abroad to establish SMEs. The problem is that locals, anywhere, will frown, if you come and take their bread and buther small scale business. Senator, if you want to fight, go and think about how FG can help businesses grow abroad (and at home). There must be better ways of making profits than joining political parties and getting juicy appointments, or by merely becoming a senator. |
tooth4tooth:95% chance the boys will indeed repackage and sell! 4.9% they will re-export to Gabon or CAR. 0.1% chance they will re-cycle anything. |
jeeqaa7:But Nigeria is still alive. Re-structuring must happen in the next 2 years, if we dont want to court trouble. We do not need 36 states, maximum 6 will do. Call is state, province or region. It does not matter. Each state should have not more than 15/20 LGAs or counties. Federal House of Reps should not have more than 120 members. Scrap the Senate. One house is enough. Make participation in the house voluntary so that the people there do no earn salaries. I am sure if we go along these lines people like Gbaja will not open their mounths so wide to insult our sensibilities. |
World bank to the rescue! Abuja cannot solve all of Nigeria's problems for the simple reason that they do not even know the country. About time to restricture Nigeria into 6 strong regions. Today we have 38 legislative houses where corruption and idleness are the names of the game. Let us stop deceiving ourselves. |
gbishman:Do they really have a job? Half of the year they go on recesss, the other half they share money, and on the last day of the Senate they hurriedly pass 40 bills. Thats why some one has tagged them sinators of the federal republic. |
In that country they hardly carry load....so, he drops it behind when he leaves! Try something light next time. |
Could be the leg of a vulture! |
You call this helicopter? |
dayleke:For every law the common man breaks, government official has broken 1000! FRSC cars are hardly roadworthy yet they will arrest you for not having road worthiness paper. You ask them to produce their vehicle insurance! You'll find they paid last in 2009. Government officials drive through traiic lights anyhow. Does that happen in Oyibo land? |
musicwriter:Thats exactly what that news outfit was trying to say. |
E da sharia fun! |
This may not be true. |
Insanity has differrent degrees. |
. |
dalaman:This is not only in Africa. The spiritual exists. Everywhere. Even rituals are made in America and those who do it will not disagree. What do you think is responsible for the sudden deaths among young Hollywood stars? Pray not to understand this too late. At any rate, when a man accepts Jesus Christ and lives in obedience to His word (including refraining from extra and pre marital affairs), that person is protected from these evils. |
Is the speaker pregnant? Senator - manspreading not very gentlemanly sir! |
We hope so. We need to see the signs in the marketplace. As of now, there are no new FDIs. Food prices are very high. Electricity supply is perhaps at its lowest. Diesel prices remain very high. Employers are still cutting jobs. Airlines are folding up. We need to see real change. Pay Police salaries regularly so that roadblocks can stop. You get stopped by Police, LG task force, VIO, Road Safety, etc all over the cities. The delays they cause lead to reduced productivity. We ought to deal with this. Let us be able to move freely in our country. The same hapens when you are not driving. Once they see you carry a bag they stop you and take you away and you will need 'ransom' to get you out. Why do the Police stop and search innocent people just because they carry handbags? We need true change. |
Meanwhile Nigeria is yet to have light! I can bet that Nigeria has by far the largest number of petrol and diesel generators in the world. Even our presidentail villa runs on diesel gen! Something is grossly wrong! |
HungerBAD:Nice? |
Anyone calling himself or herself a fan needs to be checked! Fan of what? |
