He is a genius.

He offers rich entertainment to his listeners at o cost.

Basketmouth, Julius Agwu, Ali Baba combined cannot make you roll in laughter like Patrick.

Keep it up, we yearn for more!
Politics › Re: £3,000 UK Visa Bond To Start In November by Dee60: 1:42pm On Jul 29, 2013
mikeansy: If this policy comes to effect Nigeria owes it as a duty to herself to place harsh conditions to all British interests in Nigeria.

All British expatriate workers should require to pay 5000pounds visa fee and 1million pounds bond to come and work in Nigeria

The tax policies for all businesses with British ownership should also be raised to 50%

We really don't need Britain anymore to be honest. It is time to isolate this arrogant good for nothing country!
What you do not realize is that the money for what you suggested will be coughed out by Nigerians! We are already being TAXED by European companies operating in Nigeria, by way of over-pricing the goods and services they offer. If we charge them they will simply TAX us more! We are weak, we are unserious, our leaders will only quickly pass laws that allow them to chase 13 year old girls! We are very corrupt. Now Britain will tax us here and tax us abroad, and we wont be able to do anything about it. Forget all the NOISE from our foreign ministry. It means nothing and the British know it! That is why they are going ahead.
Politics › Re: 3rd Lagos-Kano Train Service Flagged Off Yesterday by Dee60: 7:14pm On Jul 26, 2013
What exactly does flagging off mean? Our President came to 'flag-off' Lagos Ibadan expressway a few weeks ago and seems all we can see now is his beautiful signpost and a ceremonial garden. When are we going to see real road construction going on?
Politics › Re: Gov Amaechi On BBC HARDtalk (Video) by Dee60: 9:29am On Jul 26, 2013
Please advise His and Her Excellency in ASO to douse the tension in the land and to forget 2015. His entire body language is showing that he is 24x7 fighting for 2015 while the ship of state runs adrift (abubakar, 2013).

By meddling with NGF and by setting up PDP GF, the man has set his own house on fire! Those are two 'unpresidential' moves and two bad products of bad advisers!
Politics › Re: Gov Amaechi On BBC HARDtalk (Video) by Dee60: 9:17am On Jul 26, 2013
sincerenigerian: The Amaechi guy is eloquent, charismatic and presidential. He looks calm, in-charge, and knowledgeable. He has his facts to issues being discussed.

Amaechi will make a good Nigerian President.
We have to pray. The establishment do not like people like him and that is why they are fighting so hard. Those 'Abuja' people are so mad at his achievements and they are wishing him dead!

Please, Oga Jona, 6 years at the helms is enough. Dont contest again, for the sake of Nigeria. Nigerians fought for you when you were being trampled. It is now time to step down and not contest again. We want real good leaders, like Lamido, like Amaechi.

I am ever impressed by Amaechi's candour, intellect, drive, energy and charisma. Rotimi Amaechi for President 2015.

In Nigeria, 5 is greater than 27 and 16 greater than 19...so therefore 18 minutes of power supply is also equal to 18 hours! QED!
Sports › Re: Bash Ali Walks Out On Sports Minister by Dee60: 6:02pm On Jul 24, 2013
What is the meaning of minister?

It depends sir?

In Britain, it means one who serves his people.
In Nigeria, it means one who lords over his people!

What is the meaning of democracy? It depends.
In the US, it means winning with majority vote. You win if you score 19 and your opponent scores 16
In Nigeria, it could mean winning with minority vote, meaning you can be declared winner if you score 16 against 19!

Bgino: same punishment should be given to those that declared 16 votes winner over 19 votes..else they players and club officials should appeal the judgement in the FIFA court of arbitration
Exactly. And the 5 votes that was greater than 27 according to beepee!

Nigerian legislators earn the highest in the world according to a new report by The Economist. Also, Nigerian footballers are now scoring the highest in the world, 79 goals in one match!

So, why ban the footballers and leave the legislators to continue their 'scoring'?

cant laugh
Stop the name calling. Stop the abuses. You may criticize actions but dont abuse the actor. That is not civil. If the intention of WS is indeed to throw abuses (I tend to doubt that), then it is grossly wrong. The wife of the President also deserves respect!
Politics › Re: Soyinka: The Mad Old Professor (MOP) by Dee60: 8:11pm On Jul 22, 2013
madam patience should not have called WS a 'national embarrassment' and WS should not throw abuses at her. Please sheath the swords. Even where WS has used metaphors, not everyone understands those and let us remember that younger people are watching!

I respect Madam Patience and I hope she will listen to the cry out there to stop meddling in Rivers and to manage the use of her power. I respect WS and I hope he will embrace truce and allow the wounds of the Rivers saga to heal. We should not fight too much over problems caused by politicians.
Politics › Re: Soyinka On Patience Jonathan & Link With Amaechi by Dee60:
slap1: LOL at Shepopotamus! Creative, I must say!

For those who think it's an insult, it's actually called a metaphor. The First Lady has carried herself, recently, in the manner of a hippo: bullish, uncordinated, destructive and over-zealous! So it's not actually a name-calling. If you recall during the days of Obasanjo's library, when Dangote, Adenuga and others were literally 'forced' to donate towards the library project (Adenuga was 'punished' for donating below the amount OBJ told him to donate), Soyinka termed the donation process 'executive extortion'. It's metaphor, people!

Last week, Jose Mourinho said his Chelsea players trained like animals. . .do you consider that an insult? NO!
It has always been difficult to interpret Soyinka. Well, Nigerians are always asking leaders to stand up for the truth, and when they see a few standing up, they lash at them! I will never support abuses, I am just praying that Nigeria would be better after all these!

I was once on a 50 minute flight that ended up taking 150 minutes because of so called 'VIP' movement. There was rain and thundestorm all over that day, but the 'VIP' would not care. Today, Lagosians have learnt to stay at home and not venture to go out to do business whenever Dame Patience visits Lagos! Fashola once asked Dame to apologize to Lagosians for the horror that Lagosians faced when she came to say hello to her friends in Lagos. Rather than apologize, they barked at Fashola for daring to speak to 'her her excellency', 'her eminence'!

Hippo is a metaphor indeed for backward thinking and 'fossil' behaviour. Nigeria is a nation not an empire. Empires were ruled by people with hippo behavour, but in a nation we need civility in leadership. We must change. Our leaders must change. This is 2013. That you are the wife of an elected president does not make you an empress! let us all learn civility, and indeed we should not abuse or beat anyone.

Bipi went to Abuja to say he is 'speaker'. Is that not a hippo behavoiur? Chanting war and occultic songs in the house, is that not a hippo behaviour? Carving a fake mace, and using it to hold illegal house session, all with the backing of 'Abuja', is that not a hippo behaviour? Could a 'hippo' have acted in that manner without the support and backing of a 'sheppo'?

No abuses intended. We may criticize the actions but not the actors. Our first lady deserves all the respect, so does all the leaders involved in this debate.

Mrs Jonathan deserves to air her views and she has done it well. Thank you for speaking, otherwise, people would have believed all the lies against you.

She indeed as a citizen deserves the right to speak and appeal to Rotimi Amaechi.

Let all the roforofo and name calling stop. Let the abuses stop. Let those who unleashed violence and mayhem at the assembly be punished.

Let Amaechi accept Mrs Jonathan and let Mrs Jonathan accept Amaechi, for the sake of Rivers. Let the public see them embrace in public! If they do that, their followers will cease fire. Let Amaechi also right his own wrongs in Rivers. Too many people are accussing him of being dictatorial. How true, we dont know.

That has nothing to do with 2015, where the best performer with the best intention will win by God's grace.

muami: Did the Duke marry the Queen the way we marry? You guys should stop all this colonial mentality. In Nigeria, because of the traditional beliefs that men protect women, wives are usually in front on their husbands when they are moving together. There is therefore nothing wrong for GEJ to keep PEG in front when they are being received by Nigerian officials that they have already met previously.
PEG?
Politics › Re: Patience Ignores Protocol & Exchanged Pleasantries Before Jonathan by Dee60: 8:32pm On Jul 17, 2013
muami: IGNORANCE, they say is a disease!
There is a big difference between being received by Nigerians abroad and being received by a foreign host. First Ladies are usually designated as Chief Hostess of the government and for that reason they are usually in front when their husbands are to be received by officials from their own country in a foreign land.

The President only needs to be in front when he is being received by a foreign official and that is exactly what GEJ has been doing, including in his recent trio to China[img][/img]
Haba? How much chop does a man begin to chop for him to see white and call it black? What is bad is bad, an elected president wears the garb of a first citizen, and should be so treated. Even in monarchies, this charade is never allowed to happen. Would you ever in your dream see Duke of Edinburgh walk in front of the queen?

The ability to prove that 16 is greater than 19 will be recorded as one of oga's unparalleled achievement in his first term in office. It is all a prelude. They are possibly planing to tell the nation that 16 is also greater than 20 come 2015!
