Politics › Re: Containerized Cargo Leaves Lagos For Kano/kaduna By Rail by Dee60: 2:54am On Aug 24, 2013
Transformation joke. 20 containers out of thousands of containers going to the north. We need action and not foto finish for 2015 elections. GEJ should know that he has surrounded himself with enemies who want to deceive him that things are happening.
Investment › Re: Shekau's Death Will Attract Foreign Investors To Nigeria by Dee60: 4:57pm On Aug 23, 2013
Please show me one correct foreign investment in Nigeria. Some Indians, Chinese, and Lebanese colluding with Nigerians to rip off the economy or some foreign companies ruling us to their own advantage (see Wikileaks). Foreign scavenging or foreign investing?
Christianity Etc › Re: Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo Of COZA In Sex Scandal by Dee60: 3:00pm On Aug 23, 2013
Jesus Christ, same yesterday,, today and forever. Men may and will fail and fall, but Christ remains the same. All readers, please do not take the account of one man and one church worker (we may not even be able to authenticate the story) to judge the message.

There are thousands of pastors out there doing God's work in God's way, many of them unknown. There are thousands of churches out there where the pastor is not worshipped like God.

Really, let every man look for a true church.

O God, make me a true worshipper and a true witness of Christ.. That was my prayer this morning. Please join me.
Politics › Re: APC Is A Gang-up - Ekweremadu (Deputy Senate President) by Dee60: 2:28pm On Aug 23, 2013
What is PDP then? Group of gangsters? What would you call our Legislature? A gang of people ganged up against the nation to an extent that after collecting their salaries there will be nothing left to use to develop Nigeria!
Politics › Re: FEC Approves N124bn For Reconstruction Of Enugu-Port Harcourt Road, Four Others by Dee60: 1:08pm On Aug 22, 2013
Stories we have heard for many years. Let us see the roads, please, not announcements!

Even Lagos Ibadan that was kicked off by His Excellency, not a single spade seems to have moved since then. We do not need talk talk, we need act act!
Business › Re: Tycoons Who Won't Leave Their Fortunes To Their Kids by Dee60: 6:17pm On Aug 21, 2013
These guys worked so hard to make their quids and so have realized the value of hardwork, which is the legacy they want to give to their offspring.....leaving so much wealth to your children cannot guarantee that they will be wealthy. This is where Africans get it so wrong....I have heard of the son of a wealthy Nigerian who only spends pounds and dollars in Nigeria. he pays 5 pounds or ten pounds for a bottle of coke! All his friends know him as a waster...these happen because some of their parents never really worked for the money...they never did anything other than being billionaire civil servants or politicians. Now, please dont get me wrong, not all civil servants or politicians are thieves.

Politics › Re: Patience Jonathan’s Women Jamboree In Abuja (Pictures) by Dee60: 12:35pm On Aug 17, 2013
I pity those who went on the road that day. Next time, you sit at home when they come to town, and of course, dont take a flight when they are flying, otherwise Abuja to Lagos will take you 3 hours minimum non-stop!

May our country never be so betrayed again by elected officials and their wives.

[quote author=OPC.NAIRALAND]Kudos to Ogun State! The next wave of industrialization and capitalization is underway.

Christianity Etc › Re: Adeboye Is Not Wrong by Dee60: 6:46pm On Aug 15, 2013
striktlymi: I understand some of the complaints people put forth...

1) The building he has currently, can take upto a million people, I think.

2) There are other RCCG Churches all about, hence there is no pressing need to build a bigger one because the people have other places of worship.
When it comes to a place of worshiping God, you cannot tell people not to come! So what do you do when the hall can no longer contain the people coming? You expand. It is as simple as that.

People are difficult to please. When the hall is too crowded that people can hardly stand, people will complain. when you make adequate plans ahead, still they complain. No wonder Nigeria is where it is! Rather than thank God for what is good, the people complain!

Do Nigerians realize that RCCG attracts far more foreigners (Christians faithfuls and tourists) than any other organization in the country? People who would not come to Nigeria for any reason now have a reason to come to RCCG camp. Yet, the people complain.

God is the only righteous Judge.
Travel › Re: Nigeria Plans £5000 Visa-Bond For UK Citizens by Dee60: 11:47am On Aug 15, 2013
Mere sensation. Some Asian embassies here ask for more than what UK is asking for, and FG has not retaliated.

The same FG is giving out expat quotas like no man business. It is only here that an Indian or Chinese can open shop and sell exercise books! How many Nigerians will be allowed to open a retail shop in China?

We just need a re-birth.
Travel › Re: Nigeria Plans £5000 Visa-Bond For UK Citizens by Dee60: 11:00am On Aug 15, 2013
Makes NO sense.

More than half of 'British' citizens travelling to Nigeria are Nigerians who have nationalized as Britons. The other ones travelling are on corporate sponsorships. For these other travellers, Nigerian companies have to pay the bond anyway!

FG, think of something else.
Politics › Re: Orji Kalu Claims Lagos Property Sealed After He Crticised Fashola by Dee60: 11:27am On Aug 14, 2013
Orji Kalu understands that there are many gullible people in the land so he tells them what they like to hear!

Lagos State knows him well, so they have given him the best answer!

Politics › Re: Obasanjo - Nigeria Is Cursed, Criticized Atiku, Tinubu by Dee60: 11:06am On Aug 14, 2013
When you read this thread you will be tempted to say that OBJ is indeed correct. Is Nigeria not cursed? Our people cannot even read and understand. Did he exonerate himself?

We are very shallow. We need mass quality education in Nigeria for the next 20 years so we can begin to raise people with true leadership skills, people who can at least read English properly.

Christianity Etc › Re: Pastor Adeboye Under-fire For 3km Auditorium by Dee60: 5:01pm On Aug 13, 2013
If one Nollywood star builds a 20 room mansion to lodge multiple girlfriends, people will hail him well done. When you build a mighty temple for the worship of God people will ask where did you find the money. The world continues to think that you must be poor to be a good christian, but we know that we serve a God who truly blesses His people.
Christianity Etc › Re: Pastor Adeboye Under-fire For 3km Auditorium by Dee60: 2:59pm On Aug 13, 2013
I desire and pray that a time will come that I will be rich enough to donate 1 billion naira to the good work of God's kingdom. Only those who are blessed to that extent can do such.

It is crudely negative for anyone to think that you are corrupt because you have money and that if you have money then you must be corrupt.

These set of journalists goofed very badly!
Christianity Etc › Re: Pastor Refuses To Perform Ceremony Because Of Bride’s ‘Sexy Dress’ by Dee60: 2:42pm On Aug 13, 2013
Why did she go to a church in this kind of dress? Why cry foul? I am sure she will not even go to meet Obama in this kind of dress. Well done, pastor, for standing your ground. If he had allowed her, someone else will do worse next time on basis of precedence.

The sad part was that her friends and relations were attacking the pastor, instead of looking at the bride. That is how evil our world has become.

It is time to reach for the 'Noah's Ark'. Time for everyone to truly embrace the Saviour Jesus Christ. This world is doomed.

Politics › Re: Jonathan Warns Bisi Akande To Respect His Age, by Dee60: 10:03am On Aug 13, 2013
Tyranny starts to show when people cannot accept simple criticisms. President's men are indeed kindergaten. If they are mature they would have ignored the old man. I wonder why they threatened to invoke the law! Which law? Why do we continue to see our leaders as the law?

A police demanded for a bribe of N25k and was summarily dismissed without trial, meanwhile an assemblyman takes a bribe of more than N50million and they claimed the video (or audio) was not accurate.

When you are rich, then you are a law. When you are president then you are the law. I hope tthat is not what these aides are saying.

We do have a leadership problem in Nigeria as Achebe said.
Politics › Re: Jonathan Is An Unserious President - Bisi Akande by Dee60: 9:47am On Aug 13, 2013
It is obvious that someone in power has paid a number of jobless people to invade NL 24X7 and tell our president what he wants to hear. They are quick to respond when the president is criticized. They are unserious followers of unserious leaders. meanwhile, Nigeria bleeds as our funds are squandered. The problem with Nigeria is simply that of leadership.

Well done. Please remember to put that as one of your oga's many 'achievements' in office!
TV/Movies › Re: Denrele Attacked For Sending Beverly Osu To Represent Nigeria At Big Brother by Dee60: 5:13pm On Aug 05, 2013
Our leaders in the country are doing the same thing, playing the 'LovePeddler' before the whole wide world. Loan from China yesterday, and another loan from Saudi today! We can even stoop so low to be begging for $450million loan? Do you blame the BBA lady? Dysfunctional behavior of our youths reflecting the dysfunctional leadership we have in the land!

A politician walks in like a Fakrouk, behind the doors to steal billions and then goes openly to buy mansions, thinking no one is seeing! That is the same way the BBA lady goes into a bath, doing the shameful thing, and I am sure in her mind nobody sees. Unknown to her, the world has seen and will continue to see that for a long time. Even if she wins a million dollars, she has succeeded in grossly decimating the value of Nigerian young ladies. Every lady you see wearing leggings or spaghetti now reminds you of the BBA girl! Sad!

Nigeria today has made itself the laughing stock of the nations, begging for small things everywhere, and ready to spread the legs like the BBA lady, just to satisfy their unquenchable thirst for more and more millions.
Politics › Re: Power: FG Seeks $450m From Islamic Development Bank by Dee60: 5:01pm On Aug 05, 2013
A very retardent and clueless idea. An attempt to take Nigeria 30 years backward by people who do not even read history! Sad and same time strange thinking. Why not take the loan from one of the ministers with bloated finances, or from one of those former leaders who have said that they were so rich they do not know what to do with the riches?

About time some leaders are recalled!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Is Gareth Bale Worth £105m? by Dee60: 6:29pm On Aug 02, 2013
That is about N250 billion. That will solve ASUU's problems 5 times over. Build 6 world class hospitals, that is one in each geo-political zone in Nigeria.

All that for a PLAYER? Not worth it.
