Politics › Re: Foreign Investors Pour Into Nigeria As Economy Accelerates (Updates) by Dee60: 10:23pm On Jun 02, 2013
Local investors are being frustrated by the day owing to funny government policies. And foreign scavengers are being allowed to exploit our loose system. Go around on commercial high streets and see how many shops/offices have 'to let' hanging on them. Go to Kano and see what is left of the once flourishing tanneries, cotton ginneries and co. Go to Nnewi and see how the nail manufacturers have been punished because the 'investors' have been allowed to use us as dumping ground.

I like the idea of investments and we must appreciate government efforts to bring them in. We should not stop there. We must not give an impression that ours is a free market for imperialist exploitation with the connivance of economist rapists in government offices who turn the blind eye to exploitation because of the massive egunje they have chopped.

Get in genuine investors and ensure the rights and benefits of the average Nigerian are protected.

Bravo.

We pray for more investments. We pray for less scavenging! Some of the names on that list are known scavengers. They bring in one billion and take out 2 billion in 1 year.

Nigeria must seek for the investments, where locals are employed to senior positions. Where shares are placed in the stock market. And so on...

We say yes to investing and NO to scavenging!

Politics › Re: 2015: Obasanjo Calls For Leadership Change by Dee60: 11:20am On May 30, 2013
Rivers people do not want the VP slot. So, it should go to Edo instead.

By the way, Jigawa has not recorded any single case of BH. How has the governor achieved that?

With all due respect, I must say that a good leader is known by the quality of his followership. You can hardly see any quality in the people following GEJ. Now he has succeeded in getting all the non-performing lightweight governors, led by Jang (who should have been more concerned with hos state) to line up behind him. He has 2 years to change the story. I wish him well.

Politics › Re: NGF Election Crisis: Jang Apologises To Nigerians by Dee60: 12:43pm On May 29, 2013
The hearts of the people of Nigeria are broken at what we are seeing. It is so sad that Jang will be parading himself as NGF Chairman and will even dare to go to church to do thanksgiving. O God, hear our prayers and save this land from shameless people in power!

Our rulers are so used to rigging that they no longer see anything wrong with it. We do not yet have democracy but demo-craze.
Politics › Re: CPC’s Fashakin Is A Brainless Ignoramus - Abati by Dee60: 11:40am On May 29, 2013
Nigerians actually saw GEJ as a good person, until he surrounded himself with strange fellows. He still has exactly 2 years to redeem his image.
Politics › Re: CPC’s Fashakin Is A Brainless Ignoramus - Abati by Dee60: 11:37am On May 29, 2013
I actually think that Nigerians recognize the people with brains and they certainly know those who are clueless!

Dolemite: 18 hrs power supply all day in PHC.
A great achievement by a hardworking governor who thinks about his people! His enemies only want power, that they will use to oppress the people.
Politics › Re: What Is The Power Situation In Your Area by Dee60: 11:34am On May 29, 2013
There is possibly no light in the entire country. The ogas are fighting over NGF and the grasshoppers are suffering. Oh, there was a country!
Politics › Re: CPC’s Fashakin Is A Brainless Ignoramus - Abati by Dee60: 11:31am On May 29, 2013
Only people with third class credentials make this kind of ranting! These guys in government are too full of themselves and always ever forget that power is transient. That forgetfulness is a mark of third class or less than third class thinking.

A blood hungry governor goes after perceived enemies and brandished all manner of accusations against them, yet he spared his friends who also misapropriated billions. Those crime friends that were spared are now gallivating all over calling themselves statesmen. Only in Nigeria!

Mrs Ibru has admitted her sins and have served her sentence. Let the one who has no sin continue to throw stones. There are possibly worse sinners among her accusers!

OneGuyLikeDat: Nice analysis but GEJ dare not touch Aliyu, he touches Aliyu, he touches the north. He wouldn't want to make that mistake, at least not now.

The fact still remains GEJ is on his way out. He won the last election because he was perceived as a "saint". Now he's shown he's just like obasanjo.

APC has the key to remove GEJ only if they get their calculations right. Unfortunately Fashola is a muslim so he can't be a running mate to a northerner. That would have been a game killer for PDP.

Just maybe APC can look towards SE to produce a running mate for whoever they bring out from the north. The question is will that person be very influential?

GEJ has lost SW already, he should forget about that and he's stepped on so many toes waiting to munch him come next year. Amaechi started his fight too early but might just be a sacrificial lamb to expose GEJ and show his "evil" nature.

Let's wait and watch the movie, its a very interesting one.
Please do not compare him with Obasanjo at all. OBJ was like a saint till his second term in office. GEJ has only been there 2 years. Let us just pray he does not turn into something else in the 3rd year. Absolute power is not good for Nigeria.

Of what use is NGF?

Governors have been at the heart of many of our problems. They behave like mini-gods and been behind most of tthe problems, be it, ND Militia or BH malaise.

It is about time they scattered and exposed themselves!

Very disappointing if this true. Very, very disappointing!

His aides must be terribly tired of him now, but they wont leave because of chop chop! That is Nigeria for you!

I still hope this is just a bad rumour.
Politics › Re: Jang Holds Inaugural Meeting As NGF Chairman - Newsexpress by Dee60: 10:12pm On May 25, 2013
Why the hurry?

I am terribly dissappointed in Jang. First as a military governor and back as a civilian governor. What does he want? At this stage he is getting himself in so much mud! What is wrong with these leaders?

At any rate, accross the nation, people are watching how Amaechi is being wronged! There is a 'dictator' in the making somewhere. We are praying and God will save us from dictators.
