CelebritiesWaje's Quitting Music, A Phase- The Sonar by DejiPlug(op): 11:53am On Apr 02, 2019
WAJE'S CONFESSION ABOUT QUITTING MUSIC | WHY I THINK IT'S JUST A PHASE.

By Sunday Imonah (The Sonar)

Since one of Nigeria's most celebrated female vocal powerhouse Waje's video went viral, drawing attention to recent lamentations in her music career and threat to quit music, many have waded in to submit their 2 cents by way of various recommendations and analysis.

I saw the story and watched the video too and see things way differently from what some of my colleagues had. Please get your favourite drink and find a cozy corner to sit while you read another exposè. I assure you of surprises within this article I hope you enjoy

__

The Ondo born female superstar 'Aituaje Aina Vivian Ebele Iruobe' popularly known as Waje started her music career as far back as 2003, though she is from Edo state and later moved from Akure where she was born to Benin City where she largely grow up, somehow she still found her way to Lagos the center of everything but we'll get to that later.

Like so many other Nigerian music entertainers she had her time singing in church where she became prominent and even once sang to the delight of late 'Arch Bishop Benson Idahosa', he was so impressed that he assisted her by taking care of her throughout her secondary school days.

Waje then moved to Nsukka where she attended the University of Nigeria to obtain a degree in social work, she was also exposed to a lot of concerts and shows during this period, that was before her branching out to try out other opportunities in the music industry.

She did a lot of backup singing for top stars and it's going to be difficult to forget her excellent vocal rendition in Psquares 'Do me', just timeless. It took her a long time to come up with an album of her own because she had so much to deal with in her personal life we'll get to that.

FOCUS ON WAJE'S RISE.

Waje is a three octave range vocalist which is very impressive for any singer, apart from music, she also worked part-time in tourism. She lunched her former music career in 2007, though she was still a student at the time, she managed both and paid her way up by doing lots of free shows.

She was featured in the P-Square's hit song titled "Do Me" I mentioned earlier. The track crossed borders and became widely known across Africa and parts of Europe.

She was part of 'Advanced Warning', a reality TV show featuring exceptional artists that were next in line for a breakthrough, it was put together by MTV Base South Africa and the then Zain Nigeria, Waje made an impact becoming a runner up.

In 2010, 360nobs did a special on her with the emphasis "Words Aren’t Just Enough….I’m Speechless". This brought much needed additional attention to the star.

MORE WORK.

Waje has shared the stage with the likes of Wyclef Jean in South Africa, opening for Kerry Hilson during a show organised in Calabar and has also worked with artists who had hit singles, let's not forget "One Naira" with M.I.

The song "True Love" is a track she did with Dencia, just to mention a few of her collaborations, Waje also has her own songs that have earned her awards and nominations.

HER FIRST ALBUM.

Her album finally dropped, a self-titled debut studio album in 2013 Followed by a single in November of 2014 "Coco Baby" featuring Tanzania's top crooner, Diamondz Platnumz, the song also has a successful video.

She released another single in August of 2015 titled "Left For Good" featuring Patoranking and Godwin Strings, let's not forget 'Mma mma' another single that gladened Nigerians because it was a song of gratitude.

Waje was part of the One Campaign and headlined the song ‘Strong girl’ which is the theme song for the Campaign's ‘Poverty is Sexist’ in 2015, she was on stage with Bono of 'U2' in Nigeria for the Lagos campaign in 2015.

More singles followed, 'I'm available' and 'In the air' were both released separately in 2017.

Everyone saw Waje working as one of the judges for 'The Voice Nigeria' alongside Timi Dakolo, Tuface Idibia | 2Baba and Patoranking.

THERE'S A REASON FOR GOING OVER WAJE'S JOURNEY - SO WHAT WENT WRONG?

Waje dropped a single amidst clamors from fans that he last album had been released too long ago since 2013 and that she needed to drop something new. The single came in November 2018 titled 'Oh my', almost three years from her last single and later dropped an album in December 7th of same year titled 'Red Velvet' nearly 5 years after her previous, debut album.

On March 20th barely 4 months after, Waje published a video on YouTube titled "Waje - Music is not for me", in this video she said she'll be quiting music due to lack of funds. Wait what?

She said that it's difficult being a single mother and having to handle the cost of production and promotion of her songs. She mentioned that the last album recorded low sales and even called out people who clamored for an album from her though she didn't mentioning names.

Considering that she has her daughter's fees to take care of and by the way her daughter is already 20 years old, wow right? Anyway Waje said her music career has been eating up the bulk of her income and she will have to quit music because she has no money to spend on it anymore.

MY TAKE | GRAB SOME TEA.

Waje was expecting too damn much, haba! You've been away album-wise for so long, so this shouldn't even be a discussion at this point, the new album was just barely 4 months old and she is complaining already, c'mon girl, it takes an average of a year and half for an album to sell out and it took 2Face at some point nearly 2 years for his album to sell out so what's the rush?

We all understand that you may be facing a lot being a single mom and all with bills everywhere you look after all celebrities are human beings too. However, it is too early to conclude on the album and your career for that matter, you just came back with an album after close to five years, people need to warm up to you again so calm down.

Thank God for the recent advancement in music distribution aided by digital platforms, streaming sites and social networks, the internet has been a blessing which has liberated everyone including artists and musicians from the overbearing clutches of the one sided report old labels operated.

An artiste can literally set up a PR and logistics team and put out an album, then follow a well thoughtout plan reflected on a schedule to promote both the album and personal brand while aiming for partnership deals with big brands, shows etc... These things are not things an artiste should be doing alone hence the need for the team to cover all ends and yes it costs money to run it but hey, it's business and the intention is to make money from it to cover the bills.

As for reactions to her statement so far, I'll only positively refer to what another vocal vixen and friend to Waje said, Omawumi came forward to express concern and showed support for her friend, she also said Waje shouldn't leave her alone in the music business as she encouraged her friend to be strong and stay in order to weather the storm.

Then those who tried to attack Waje by bringing up religion and other completely irrelevant allusions should kindly go take a seat, in fact they should take several seats, it's a massive turn off to me when people speak off point. Since when has gospel music become a standard for anyone who want to be successful in music? How many successful gospel singers do we even have in Nigeria? How many endossments? What's the mileage? Circular music leads in practically everything music and circular doesn't mean worldly. God help is with this our needless religiosity that has not produced an ideal society for us.

Music like any other profession is a business and what makes one successful is simply the proper application of the principles around the type of business, period!

You will be successful regardless the type of music you do so long as you do what is legalily required to succeed, there are very poor gospel singers and successful circular ones, then the few successful gospel ones are so because of the work they put in and not simply because it is gospel music they do, like one of my mentors Dr. Ferdinand would say, "let's stop being so unintelligently religious in this country." for real.

WHAT IF...

On the flip side, the whole thing with Waje and her video could just be PR, a stunt to get people talking about Waje and it worked because she trended for days on social media and people are still talking about her and the new album which is by the way now getting more attention and sales.

I mean the album is good, I've listened and love it however, I think she didn't do enough promo for it, it was almost like she released the album and said nothing... Yeah I saw a few announcements here and there but my general impression was that she could have done more in promoting the album, just my 2 cents.

Hopefully with the release of her YouTube video combined with the attention she is now getting, more units of her album 'Red Velvet' will be sold as well as streaming boosted, that would make for a good closure to this whole saga.

YOUR VIEW.

What are your thoughts about Waje's decision to quit music?. I'll also love to here your feedback on the write up.

Christianity EtcIntentional Words Creates Momentum. WICC Celebrates by DejiPlug(op): 11:16am On Apr 02, 2019
Words that produce results, and create productive and meaningful activities on the earth stem from certain depth.

Jesus spoke to a fig tree and said "No man eats of you hereafter forever." Mark 11:14. What interests me most was the fact that he didn't wait to check, he moved on. He had engaged certain forces. Knowledge liberates!

So you CAST pictures into your heart and frame them with words that describes it's accomplishment and the feelings accompanying them and then unseen forces will come to your aid.

You'd discover that the only things you never got were the things you were never intentional about when speaking them forth(thus becoming unproductive words.)

Intentional words summons spiritual forces to respond and act in your favour when confronting any situation. No believer is helpless.

"So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."
Isa 55:11(kjv)

Whatever you are confessing and believing God for must reside in your heart abundantly, well nurtured and consistently watered, gather your facts and collate your data, be detail driven, only then will it carry much weight(ability to produce its kind) in the earth realm when you speak it forth.

Just recently, A sister in Church was experiencing birth pangs one tuesday afternoon and then the husband called me to say they were on their way to the hospital, and I responded immediately without blinking, 'the next call I will get from you will be to say my wife has put to bed!' And it was so! I didn't have to think about how it will happen! I did not even pray! He called 3 hours later to deliver the news!

This summarised what Jesus said in Mark 11:23.

Be like Jesus, Be INTENTIONAL!

The WinningWord International Christian Center, (WICC) under the leadership of Pastor Michael Anthony continues to enjoy a celebratory season as their very own beloved Minister Bola turns +1 and Brother Ejeh celebrates the christening of his bouncing baby boy today, April 2.

Christianity EtcBe Still And Know That I Am God. A WICC Interpretation by DejiPlug(op): 4:42pm On Mar 31, 2019
"Be still and know that I Am God." Ps 46:10

The genius of God is usually revealed in difficult and trying times.

'Be still' is a command not a suggestion. A command is often times issued when one is running off course or needs to be redirected. Commanders issue a fresh command to alter the officers last action. So God introduces a fresh command to be still amidst the chaos seeing our reactions. Our activities often impedes God plan and purpose for the storm. He seldom sends them but He allows them, for God does not tempt any man. He ultimately wants to boast through us. "Have you considered my servant Job?!"

Being still suggest that we cease striving, stop the inner fights, stop being afraid of what's never going to happen. Stop asking questions that suggest that God is Unfair and partial in His dealings. It is only when we are still- void of struggles, hustling, trying to get things through underhanded methods and unethical means, following the arm of flesh, that you will KNOW.
So there's a rare insight and knowledge you gain through the awesome manifestations that will result from your being still that would strengthen you on the inside in other to encourage others, for whatever God takes you through is not ultimately for you.

Counsel is great when you speak from a depth of knowledge - a knowing, haven being applied through the process.

Go about your daily business, get on with your activities, your life mustn't halt because you are not getting your desired outcome, dont stay in Isolation, keep relating, being still from God's perspective does not suggest a shutdown, even in times of war people make time to eat else they'd starve to death.

I've had to 'carry' others when I needed to be carried myself. I have paid bills when mine were yet unpaid and didn't know where the resources would come from, and I have also seen God show up in ways that i consider mysterious. No matter how fierce the battle is, please put these words on your lips all the time- "The battle is the Lord's and the victory is mine NOW!"

The child will come even at 40
The man will Show Up even if you are 45
The rent will be paid even if it's a Million.
That child will return home alive and well!
The termination letter was designed by heaven to reposition you.
That terminal disease is to reveal the Arm of the Lord on your behalf.
That rejection was direction from heaven
That cheating husband or wife is having an encounter with God now!
That wilderness is turning into a fruitful ground!

BE STILL!

The game changer is really in resolving to Be Still (WAIT) for God, Praising Him even when everything on the outside contradicts our expectations, keeping away strife, bitterness, anger, malice, unforgiveness and jealousy, Only then will He be revealed as 'Jehovah our tranquilizer' , our Peace, our Judge and our Reward!

If you read through Psalm 46, you'd discover that the end result is for God to be glorified in all the earth through your space, your testimony leaving men dumbfounded!

On the Winning Side We Always Are!

Be STILL!

CelebritiesPatience Ozokwor's Marital Story by DejiPlug(op): 11:37am On Mar 28, 2019
PATIENCE OZOKWOR'S MARITAL STORY, A COMMON PARTERN FOR WOMEN IN NIGERIA | SACRIFICING HAPPINESS TO PLEASE FAMILY.

By Sunday Imonah

Since the revelations shared by popular Nollywood actress, Patience Ozokwor AKA Mama Gee about her marriage and the circumstances surrounding it, the internet has known no end to the topic.

Different reactions have trailed her disclosure of how her mother had played a major controlling role in her early marriage which happened with a man she chose for her while abandoning the one she actually loved.

Now is a good time to get your tea, popcorn or smoothie, relax and read why this is not new in Nigeria, most married women today especially those from the previous generation and some from today's set sacrificed their dreams and happiness just to please family by marrying men they felt nothing for, at least at the beginning.

________

As reported by Punch News on Saturday, March 23, 2019, the actress while granting the interview said that she could not resist her mother because during her days as a youth, parents usually decided who their children would marry.

Though the choice was not hers, Patience Ozokwor, said she decided to stayed in her union for many years causing people to think that they were betrothed.

The actress who is now 60 years old and a grandmother quickly added and said "No, I wasn’t betrothed to him, but my mother was a kind of woman that always liked to punish any child that misbehaved publicly.

"You know all those Christian mothers that would be in the disciplinary section to punish children. So, she didn’t want her child to come out of secondary school and not get married because she was afraid you could bring her to where she had been punishing people.

"So she insisted I must get married. I said okay but I had a suitor. But she said no. I didn’t know what to do because I had put all my eggs in one basket; he was in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

"I was waiting to go to school so that I would marry him but my mother wouldn’t wait. So I had to obey her. There was a big fight but in our days, you would not be the one to say I will marry this person; it was your parents that would have the final say in your marriage, so I had to give up."
__

This narrative by the Nollywood veteran is not new to Nigerians, though the practice is fast fading away thanks to exposure, education and more young people who are not afraid to put up intense resistance to the practice, not minding the risks of doing so.

ARRANGED MARRIAGES.

An arranged marriage can be defined as one in which the family or parents choose a partner for their child or relative. Usually love and compatibility is not considered when doing this.

CONSEQUENCES OF REJECTING ARRANGED MARRIAGES.

1. Conflict with parents or guardians may occur and last for some time, this has not stopped younger generations from fighting and rejecting it.

2. Austrasicing children who reject arranged marriages is not uncommon because there are numerous reports of parents who have disowned their own children because of this.

3. Financial difficulties may occur where the child still depends on the parents financially as such parents often use finances as bait to force the child to obey.

#Note: these have not stopped the continuous rejection of most arranged marriages today.

PURPOSE OF ARRANGED MARRIAGES.

It is done to cement friendship between two families especially when they have been close friends for long or have simply been doing business together. The hope is that their children would continue the relationship, speak of the rich marrying the rich.

Other families do it for religious or tribal reasons to prevent their children from moving away from a particular lifestyle or practice they have taught them to strange ones they do not like and finally many parents do it because of money.

REPERCUSSIONS.

Sadly, for many of those women who got married to strangers in order to please family, things usually fell apart one way or the other, it usually didn't always resulted in divorce but rather mostly a stale boring and confined marriage, they usually ended up getting consolation from their children and not the husband I. e. for those with kids. Those without kids had to cope with the intrusion of concubines who either ended up as second and third wives or stayed as just concubines.

Those who ended up happy with their family's chosen partner are very few in contrast going by reports.

THE FRAGILE NARRATIVE | MARITAL QUAGMIRE FOR WOMEN.

This completely changes the popular narrative that marriages in the past were better and lasted longer than those of today. True, going by registry data, marriages from back then actually lasted longer but were they HAPPY? Both men and women who were rushed into arranged marriages only managed to stay and were not at all happy going by media reports.

Recent revelations from a staggering amount of women who married for family, granting interviews and speaking now more than ever before have shown a clear pattern. Many of them simply tolerated their partners who were not their original choices as against actually loving them. This in itself has repercussions on the marriage and children.

WHY DIVORCE IS HIGHER TODAY THAN 30 YEARS AGO.

Simply put, the younger generation do not have the patience to pretend and stay in a marriage they're not enjoying like their parents did. Once they're not happy with the marriage, they end it and go chase their dreams.

The News Agency of Nigeria published a report in April 4th of 2017 were lawyers decried the rising rate of divorce Nigeria and these lawyers blamed it on:

1. Unpreparedness before going in.
2. Arranged marriages.
3. Avoiding sex talk (Sexual Compatibility).
4. Third party interference.
5. Finances.

One of the layers Abdulkarim Shaibu, said that many people that went into marriage do not understand what marriage was all about.

He said; “What you see at times are marriages arranged by parents for their children, this is mainly among the elite, and they tend to control their lives by dictating how they should live.

“The consequences are what we see playing out now, where couples cannot tolerate one another because there is always a third party in the marriage.”

Shaibu said that most couples were not prepared to face the realities, they fix their mind on a particular thing instead of their partner, mainly wealth, and if not there, the marriage will not last.

He stressed the need for parents to educate their children on the challenges in marriage to enable them take the right decision instead of trying to control them.

Another lawyer, Christie Nwaka, said many do not even know what they want from the marriage and it breaks down and finally ends in divorce.

“People are always deceived by physical appearances or wealth, and there are usually serious challenges when people who come together because of mundane things are confronted with serious issues."

On intimacy she said “Another serious issue in marriage which people refuse to talk about is sexual intercourse, it can break a marriage when it is not properly addressed and lack of communication between couples too."

She appealed with parents to allow their children to run their homes in their own way and stop interfering in any negative way.

It was made clear by the lawyer that" Marriage as an institution should be respected and the only way to do that is to teach and prepare those going into marriage on what marriage is all about and how to make success of it.”
__

Patience Ozorkwor's story is just another story amongst millions in Nigeria, men and women have been throwing their lives away just to please family and the resulting marriages have been less than appealing.

Alas this generation unlike patience who refused to devorce her husband due to her thinking that it is a sin, have more people willing to divorce regardless religious undertones.

She said she regrets abandoning the man she loved for the one her mother forced her to marry, she regrets her marriage and would have loved to have a choice in the matter.

Patience Ozokwor is brave and I commend her courage, her story has helped many to see the ills of arranged marriages and needless family interference in a couple's domestic affairs.

Let this sink in... Divorce and separation will only increase once young people are not well prepared before jumping into marriage that many now see as mere social status amongst other wrong perceptions.

Can we turn the tides before it is too late? Only time will tell...

Music/RadioTonight On #WHISPERS With Sunday "Sonar" Imonah by DejiPlug(op): 8:18pm On Mar 24, 2019
Our Discussion: FEUD | TROUBLE WITH THE IN-LAWS.

My name is Naomi, My sister in-law and I had a fight, she bit me while I broke her nose when I saw the blood from her bite.

Initially when she said she wanted to come over to our house my husband said no, he wasn't in support of her coming because she is manipulative just like their mother. He said she and I are better off as friends from afar but I didn't know how to say no to her, I agreed and welcomed her against my husband's stand.

Two weeks into her stay she was everywhere in my house giving orders which I pretended not to see... My husband is the one that prepares the kids for school while I take them through their home work when they are back from school. We have been like that in the last five years but this didn't go down well with my sister in-law who kept murmuring how I have turned their only brother to a nanny.

At a point I told my hubby and he laughed at me telling me he had warned me against her coming but that I didn't heed to his warnings.

Recently, my hubby came home early and decided to wash the kids clothes that I was supposed to wash by Saturday, he said since he was home early he should just reduce my work load. I never knew my in-law was not happy and so the following morning immediately my hubby left for work, she started her wahala that she won't be alive and allow me use charm on her only brother. I asked her where I got the Jazz from that has been working on her brother for 7years.

After that question, I decided to keep quiet, when I couldn't take her insults anymore I recorded her hateful speeches and sent to her brother. He just asked me to dress up and leave the house for her. Immediately I dressed up to leave the house, she came and stopped me by the door that I was not leaving except I freed her brother from my demonic power.

I tried pushing her out of my way and she became aggressive, at that point I lost all my cool. I slapped her so hard and we started fighting. We were almost killing each other if not for the security man that rushed to separate us, I called the police and ended up arresting her.

While waiting for my husband to come back, I went to make sure she spent the night in a cell so that next time she would mind her business. This is a woman that her husband abandoned with the kids for two years. I and my husband were the ones paying her kids school fees, she is truly an ingrate. She is still threatening that she would deal with me when she gets out of detention. I am waiting for her mother to come and fight me because I know her to like trouble.

If you were me what would you have done? My hubby is in the support of her arrest, though he is acting ignorant to his parents and saying that he would never give her financial support again. I had to rush to the hospital to take ATS because she chopped off my flesh.

The Family in general apart from my and thinks I'm mean and guilty of cutting them off, they have spread this fake talk to neighbours and all who care to listen. I'm now the demon wife and I don't like the gossip from them spoiling my image.

In as much as I want her disciplined, I feel kind of bad and troubled in my soul. I dont want her innocent children to suffer for their mothers sin. What should I do to make her understand that I am not using charms on my husband? Kindly advice me.

CrimeRe: Nairalanders, I Need your Help to find this scammers. by DejiPlug(m): 8:12am On Mar 18, 2019
MrBrownJay1:
very true indeed, but as I stated earlier, the problem is only HALF the fault of scammers and the other half of the blame should be laid on the foolish brother too. the day people start to be less greedy and grow a BRAIN then these scammers would have nobody to defraud, duh!
These scammers don't play fair. Jazz was definitely involved.
Music/RadioSnake In The Bus: #mybusfare At 6.30AM by DejiPlug(op): 3:48pm On Mar 17, 2019
Mine was a "snake in the bus" scenario literarily.

Took a brt bus from fadeyi to Ikorodu. On getting to mile 12, I realized there was a commotion in the middle of the bus towards the back. Seated at the front, I removed the earpiece I had on and heard the shouts of "ejo ejo" (snake snake), others like, "were ma laboki yi ke" (this aboki is mad oo). People were screaming for the bus driver to stop, he didn't or couldn't (I'm not sure which), probably because we were on the highway.
I saw that almost everyone seated close to one northern man like that took to standing by force squeezing themselves towards the back of the bus. The man was seated on a window seat in the middle of the bus, he was carrying a black sack bag. I honestly didn't see the snake but I guess some did. They said the bag started moving and the person seated closest to him realised it was a snake (maybe he heard the hiss) and the snake man kept mute, he neither refuted or affirmed the allegations, he said nothing amidst the commotion. He just held on to the bag tightly while most seats around him became empty. See by force standing. Thank God I was alighting at the next bus stop after mile 12, I looked calm but I wasn't (I'm a very imaginative somebody so you can guess where my head's at already) I jejely stood up, moved to the front door, pressed the bell and waited for the driver to tell me to take the back door (that's the norm) so that I can let loose my adrenaline from being terrified on him, he didn't, he opened the front door, I got down, I saw that some others did too Whether that was their bus stop or not, I didn't know. I also saw that the bus did not move immediately, maybe they were trying to eject the snake man from the bus, I don't know too. All I knew was I didn't wait to see what happens next, I didn't look back, I couldn't get as far away from the bus soon enough. And unfortunately (though expectedly) I had a snakes on the plane dream that night (#shudders).
In retrospect, I was wondering how standing and cramming themselves tightly away from the man could've helped. I mean, there's no where to go in a moving vehicle If the snake had been let loosed or had escaped the bag, would they have broken the windows open?

Christianity EtcNation Shall Be Born At Once- Michael Wonder by DejiPlug(op): 2:13pm On Mar 17, 2019
Any man whose "nation will be born at once" according to Isaiah 66:8, that is, where he begins to experience an outpouring of Grace from on high at a higher dimension and frequency, where great and glorious things are spoken of him (Psalm 87:3) and strangers begin to build his walls while kings come to the brightness of his rising, must of great necessity first learn this:

That only those who "travail"- Mochthos, which means Labour, involving painful effort, a point you get to in which you feel the birth-pangs of Destiny and you answer the call, spending hours praying in the Holy Ghost until every ounce of strength in you is abated, calling forth the things that be not as though they already exist in your realm.

Only those who travail, Prevail!

There's a blessing in the Wrestle!

What will come into your life afterwards will be the manifestation of a nation being born at once: for he has learnt to reverse the natural order of history and given himself a portion amongst those who rule and reign in life!

There is therefore now "no reason to fail" to them who are in Christ Jesus-The Anointed one and His Anointing. Rom 8:1.

To Us, There are no disadvantages! None.

I will therefore travail in Prayer and my Nation shall be BORN AT ONCE!

We win all the time!!!

Was on a brt queue that had already formed a u-shape @ oshodi, everyone was sweating profusely, then this other long bus to iyana ipaja came, kitikitikatakata, we all rushed in.
Not long after we got to Arena, a preacher started, and there was this other medicine man waiting to sell after the pastor's sermon.... Oga pastor preached till we got to cement, he was doing his call to repentance when the medicine man spewed.

The both of them started preaching to us @ the same time, conductor too was shouting his normal shout, preacher preaching, medicine man selling.... Chai, the medicine man got angry and attacked the preacher, slapped him three time, he said he's a wicked man who didn't want him to progress, the preacher kept shouting "may the lord forgive u".... That was how the bus was in total disarray till I alighted.

After much anticipation, Gospel pop artiste and publisher of online religious magazine, The Lighteousness, Adeluola Samson Ayodeji, popularly known as Preazy (Preacher) is set to finally hit the music scene with Love Me, an unusually funky jam to celebrate God's unending love for man.

Graduate of Biochemistry from Obafemi Awolowo University and first in a family of 5, the Abeokuta born singer and blogger/ entrepreneur started out as a kid with the local choir, before losing interest in music during secondary school due to studies, only to retrieve his mojo in 200 level after listening to American singer, Lecrae. He claims that gave him the inspiration for gospel rap and subsequent debut single in 2014, titled Suddenly.

Speaking on his third studio single which was produced by STO, Preazy describes Love Me as "basically about God's love for me. I was just ruminating about how bad man is, how deep our thoughts are and how evil they are sometimes, yet he loves us still. I try as much as possible to get my song across to its listeners which comprises of mostly the young ones. I want to present a love that supercedes any other love man could have" he added
