zayhal: Bring it on. Let's tackle it together.will bring it on later Insha a Allah |
snubish: deols, caught ya!(beaming) good to hear from you. we thought you had abandoned us. still on this marriage contract thingy, I have a men's version of a clause to be stated into that contract. I will sneak it up on you guys later. ma salam.lol..u did catch me sha but you came quite late, you missed my come back address ![]() I am interested in that clause of yours o. And the thing dey always hot my body in anticipation..I hate to wait jare post it fast abeg.ma'salam to where? wa alaykum salam |
okay. I want to talk about that of the mouth. This happens when you have a 'fiance or fiancee' and or bf/gf with the thoughts that he is after all yours. People should be careful of falling into sins by talking 'too much' ANyhow sha, it holds when between a man and a woman. and doesn't include lectures, e.t.c with the aim of acquiring knowledge |
are you saying only the people who don't worship God fall sick? |
siddiq202: I delayed my Ishai but later observed it in congregationgood enough. We delay Ishai for many reasons. It becomes an issue only when entertainment is involved as if entertainment is entirely haram. If I want to study late, delaying Ishai ensures that I don't sleep and that helps a lot. We had an ustadh in Nigeria and he would deliberately observe Ishai when we are watching super story so he could make it seem like we were bad people if we didn't get up to pray. Young and really not caring , we would watch the story and later observe our own jama'ah. It was always his loss if our parents were'nt around(he would be getting one out of 27 abi?). This was a family gathering and you can see how much he was pushing us to being 'bad Muslims'. Preachers should take it softly abeg. |
deeteeneey: walaykum salam. Welcome.thank you ![]() |

the husband's brother is not a mahram. if they both want to get married, no problem. The prophet (S.A.W)'s two daughters were married to Uthman bn Affan but not at the same time(at the same time is not allowed). it was after the death of the first that he married the other. I am not sure of their names-the reason I did not put them. |
Hello....I am not a muslim but I love learning new things so I guess I will be hanging around here for a lil bit. I hope this does not offend anyone.
not at all. You are soooo welcome ![]() |
if she wants it, there should be no problem once the people involved are not mahram to her. for example, her husband's sons cannot marry her but the husband's brother should be able to, with her consent(and not as an inherited property) the husband's father cannot marry her. |
cleanvessel: Quran 5:3do you finish your meal before starting to eat. That is logical enough . You sound like a learner ![]() |
Subhanallah! I wonder where these tales are coming from? |
And I saw a post on facebook about people delaying their Ishai for the match. I don't see anything wrong in that. I thought the writer/poster exaggerated that. what do u think? |
It doesn't matter by the way. A Muslim is dead, whether buried alive or not because it is their time. People who take the world to heart will die before their death cos they are trying to avoid death by every means possible. The time it takes to prepare the dead for burial is enough time to get it to wake up if not dead |
I like this thread |
The guinness records are not as reliable as thought then |
the issue of marriage contracts? I am not done with it ![]() btw, when this thread reaches a 100 pages, there should be celebration or what d'u think |

Surprised? I am as well or maybe less ![]() I said I was leaving on this thread- https://www.nairaland.com/1119985/does-being-cool-make-better but thanks to the power that be, I am back and as a mod ![]() yeah I know what you must be thinking but it doesn't matter. I appreciate all the people who asked after me while I was gone All I can say now is, I think I had a reason for coming here in the first place and the reason for becoming more active in 2011. I am back for the same reasons. I can only try my best and will do just that as a mod here. If there is a reason to question my judgements at any time, please feel free to voice it. Imma be all ears. |
she may not have much to gain. I would expect any woman to weight her chances before making any move. She may be having a lot to consider- children, what people would think of her, etc but all of those are individual things and everyone gets to make their choices. the reason I talk of these things is, in case anyone wants to make this kinda choice, let them know they are allowed. btw, here's my bye bye message..thank you to all of u who made Nl worthwhile. this is my favorite thread and ma shaa Allah am a better person than I was at the beginning of the thread. do check this out https://www.nairaland.com/1119985/does-being-cool-make-better#13201925 |
