rockyh: there are various types of politics practiced in the world the western and bloody politics to mention a few, GEJ practices the western politics n many Nigerian politicians believe in blood bath to accomplish their selfish interest. For his singular act I 2015 many lives were saved and that earned him an international political legacy Spare me that story! Western politics indeed. He knew he didn't have what it to retain, yet he went into election thinking the opposition would play by his rules? It would have been better to leave the scene for someone more capable instead of forming a true democrat. He clearly goofed, so he had no choice but to concede defeat. Not that I'm a member, but he destroyed a vibrant party handed over to him within 5 years. If PDP founding fathers are reflecting, I'm sure they'll realize Jonathan is the one that crashed the party. Didn't you see what happened in Kogi. Someone from the minority won by a large margin. I'm telling you, it's possible to achieve that without any bloodshed. Jonathan should take a back seat abeg. |

rockyh: he has and will never disgrace himself instead Dickson did it comes a time when u listen tk the voice of the masses Jonathan has proven that he's someone that can't exert his authority to get what he wants. Did you see how he lost the Presidency in 2015? Even me, as young as I am, I can't lose an election in this country if I spend as little as a month as President before the election. It would have been better to show how more powerful he is to to, what's this Bayelsa Governor's name again?, than handing the state to the opposition just to get back at him. Does Jonathan have any pride at all? He lost Presidency, lost control of the party in his home state, then the party lost the state. He should go take lesson in politics from people like Tinubu. When he lost control of Ambode, he simply disgraced him in the primaries instead of waiting till the election to hand over victory to the opposition. He should leave politics for those that can play the game. |

dewaskillz: When you disrespect elders be ready for your fall. Timi Alaibe is a household name in Bayelsa and would have easily won this election but selfishness wouldn't allow Dickson see above his eyes. I don't even understand this leaders sometimes , is it they get blinded to see and read the body language or they are mainly surrounded with sycophants and selfish beings. How Dickson outsmarted a former president in the PDP primaries is beyond me. Jonathan should have given everything he had in getting Alaibe the ticket instead of waiting for a Buhari/APC to help him "disgrace" Dickson. He actually disgraced himself. |

Politics › Re: Obaseki Congratulates Lyon, Bello On Victory At Guber Polls by DeOTR: 4:21pm On Nov 18, 2019 |
seguntijan: LYON victory clearly shows that JONATHAN is a failure. YES!!! Some people will say DICKSON caused the failure, but if Jonathan is a leader, he would have influenced the primary and ensure the party presents a good representative at the end. Dickson winning the state primary shows Jonathan doesn't even have a party structure at the state level, A former president for that matter.
Some said Jonathan supported Lyon when Dickson didn't let the past president have his way, that's still a sign of weakness on GEJ parts not sportsmanship at all. A leader should have a vision and be able to influence his people to key into the vision. See what happened to Ambode at the primary.
GEJ is a good man, but he is far from being called a leader, he's a YES MAN, which is bad for leadership no wonder the likes of Allison and Oduah sent him to political oblivion. The same reason why he was thrown out of office |

notttty: To them they thought the free busses from Abuja kaduna and kano to okene since on Thursday na for jokes, all parks had buses waiting to convey people for free to and fro for this election. Shout and hug transformer. We know pdp were waiting for the votes coming from the east, well the result is what you see. Don't quote me if you don't know ebira people or you are not from ebira land. We are still looking for the 300 judases that voted pdp. We will forgive those 115 that voted for natasha because she is our daughter. Never again will the igalas ever govern over us without our permission. *Dem go hear am ta-ta-ta-ta-ta* that's the new word in okene right now. Without your permission? Wait for next election and see how everywhere in Igalaland will have 98% turnout, all voting for their person. I hope you know you don't have a chance in hell if that happens? If you make it a tribal thing, it's safe to say Ebiras will never smell that seat again. You don't celebrate victory by denigrating your opponent. He'll only hate you more and fire up his resolve to get back at you. So enjoy your victory silently. |

Can we see how the people of Bolivia, Chile, Lebanon and Hong Kong are bringing the desired change they want? We need to stop complaining and take action. Let's stop the ethnicity and religious divisiveness and take action. The judiciary isn't helping. We need to fix one of the executive, judiciary or legislature for change to come. When we are ready we will get what we want Relax! revolution/disintegration will happen sooner than anyone would ever expect. Politicians have overstretched the limits already. |
