Christianity Etc › Re: What Is The Difference Between Soul And Spirit? by DeOTR: 3:50pm On Jun 28, 2020 |
This is the answer: Genesis 2:7 - And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."
The breath is the spirit, and that makes the object formed out of the dust a living soul. Spirit simply means breath, while soul is a living being. As simple as that. |

johntolu: I can see that you are truly apolitical with your 90% completion claim of the Abuja/ Kaduna rail project by your 'hero', without any proof to back it up. The Rotimi Amaechi you falsely quoted as giving the '90 claim' actually credited your 'hero' with a partial completion of the project in the Premium Times article below. I am surprised you were unable to give a response to my question about the 'monument of corruption built by your 'hero' and his 'stealing is not corruption' associates.
https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/207628-abuja-kaduna-rail-project-partially-executed-jonathan-amaechi.html The Abuja-Kaduna rail line was actually 100% completed before Buhari came on board. Test runs made. I can tell you for free. So I don't know exactly what APC government did on that project. As for the Lagos-Ibadan line, I've not seen it, but I've heard they made free trips already. The good thing is, these are standard gauge lines. This is commendable. |

WUdec: This is just a demon lurking around using her appearance. The dead know nothing at all for they are sleeping forever. This is why Jesus himself said Lazarus was sleeping.
Demons do seek to scare humans and gain their attention. They are cursed and roam the earth possessing people and playing with souls. Sometimes they need a bit of attention.
Just fast for about a week and go deep in prayers using the name 'Jesus' and seeking for what you want. The ghost will take to his/her heels. And whilst you fast, believe that it will be gone. Your faith will move it out quicker than you ever imagined. Had a similar experience, posted it here on NL sometime ago.
Stay strong. Don't budge Thank you. How people still believe the dead are still capable of anything beats my imagination. This is exactly what the Devil want us to believe, and sadly, many have fallen for this deception. |

betterpikinn: [s][/s] Shut up with usual rubbish
Why didn't you quote the part that said that the earth is flat. The sun revolves around the earth The moon has its own light etc?
The Earth is a flat disk in shape, like a dinner plate, and rests upon mountain pillars. “It is [God] who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them like a tent to live in.” — Isa. 40:22
The stars are little lights in the sky that are capable of falling to Earth like meteorites. “Immediately after the suffering of [66-70 C.E.] the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of heaven will be shaken [Matthew 24:29].” The Christian Testament's many predictions of the end of the world coming well before 100 C.E. are also erroneous. You're contradicting yourself...Earth is flat and God is sitting on the circle of the Earth. Make up your mind already. After reading you actually think "the stars of heaven " mean the real stars, you should be pitied. |

It has to be a revenue generating projects, otherwise I don't see the wisdom in borrowing. The country's annual budgets have been recording low implementations over the years and are largely dependent on loans too. |

the fact that we have peagut plant working in kaduna then and people dont have to pay as high as $1000 to ship cars give that illusion that its more valueble..since we stopped producing many thing in the 90s from cloth to cars to iron and metal then we started paying higher due to import duty and shipping cost .. to an american $5000 USD adjusted with inflation isnt more than 10,000usd now I guess we had Benz plant too. Like how much do you think it would cost to build a duplex in the 70s? Have it in mind that the Naira is slightly more valuable than the Dollar as at 1976. |

I think most of these are just sentiments and it’s fine. Not changing your team is not a sign you're not a good player. Both Messi and Ronaldo are accomplished Footballers, whose achievements would take a long time to surpass. Changing teams and winning Trophies on National team is not a yardstick for winning the most prestigious football award. This is an individual award, not for teams. |
