He worked for it by aligning with the disaster called Bubu. See where the country is today.

Yoruba lokan indeed, that is what he has used to blind most of his illiterate urchins. Something that you would not want done to you you are shouting Yoruba lokan as if Obasanjo who was president is an Ibo man.

Apart from that it is even embarrassing for sensible Yoruba people to support Tinubu as their supposed champion when there are equally eminently intelligent qualified Yoruba men and women that would have made this contest really based on intellectual prowess unlike the distraction we have now because there is so much controversy about chief emilokan. These intelligent once will vote wisely and I believe you should be smart enough to know what it means to vote wisely in this case. If not, sorry is your case.

Everything about Tinubu is shrouded in controversy.

Worked for it indeed......... I laff.
When Igbo people are ready, they should present someone with track record of performance and we'll support the person, not Obi.
He was a governor just like yesterday, and yes, he was a disaster and an ethnic/religious jingoist. He will never become the President of a united Nigeria. You can take that to the bank.

So what did Tinubu turn it to when he said emilokan and awalokan.

Remove the log in your eyes.
Yoruba lokan. Tinubu lokan in APC, because he has worked for it.
Don't assume SE will give Obi 99.9% vote, and expected the SW to give Tinubu any less.
PoliticsRe: Obi Manifesto: 8 Takeaways. (pictures) by DeOTR: 3:01pm On Dec 04, 2022
Penguin2:
The Labour Party Candidate finally released his Manifesto last night. It is a 72 page document containing what he called his “pact with the Nigerian people”.

For the benefit of those who have read it, and those who might never read it anyways, these are the few revolutionary takeaways from the document as itemized by this Twitter user.

1) Every life will now be sacred. One life, two lives, or hundred lives, no Nigerian life will be lost without swift and deserved punishment. It will be an end to the scenario where an entire village will be massacred in their sleep and not single culprit is arrested to face justice.

2) Uninterrupted Power supply in Federal Universities and Federal Teaching Hospitals.

3) Power Revolution through investment in Solar Systems and Wind Turbines.

4) Implementation of the Orosanye Report to cut cost of governance.

5) Introduction of Hourly Rate Salary Structure as opposed to Monthly Rate Salary Structure and the criminalization of non-payment of workers by both public and private institutions.

6) Introduction of Football and Basketball Leagues in all the States of the Federation through partnership with state governments, to provide employment and for development of talents in those field of sports.

7) Traditional Rulers will be legally recognized as part of a level of government with constitutionally recognized functions.

8] Our Policing System will be restructured into Federal, State and Local Government Police.

The document is a realistic one with most things in it very achievable and expected to be funded by either the Private Sector or through a Public Private Partnership which removes, to an extent, the question of funding.

Looks good if he actually meant it, and not because he was pushed by APC to at least, have one.
I'm well pleased with number 7. It's way to go. I'm a royal and I can't imagine myself answering to a slowpoke governor if I peradventure become a King. A King in Yorubaland, should be next to the gods in Authority.
I disagree with number 8 without proper amendments to our constitution to put judiciary in charge of police instead of the executive.

I agree but citizens need to start asking their governors questions ,we can't continue keeping quiet while these governors feed fat
The problem is with our laws. At this stage in our national life, we need to sit down and reason for a way forward.
It's about time we amend our laws. Everything about what gets what and how much, should be clearly spelt out. Someone can not just sit on a huge wealth belonging to millions of people just because the same people trusted him enough to represent them.
If the minimum wage is 360k annually, we should be looking at the President earning at most, 7m gross annual pay.

Typical short sighted Low IQ cretin that can never understand how anything works , there is reason you will never own more than a 10 year old corrolla in your life and it's because you lack intelligent discernment...let me help you understand how this works ..

Your National Assembly who you think eat all the money in the country arr just 540 members , let assume their salaries are 18m a month , the total monthly wage bill will be 9.7bn Naira which will arrive at 166bn naira annually, it means in a year they can tweak the demand/supply dynamics by that amount ..Now lets get to the work force affected by minimum wage , the NBS says we have about 57 million of such workers , now let's assume all of the them earn a minimum wage of 50 thousand naira a month that would bring the monthly wage bill to 2.8 trillion naira , annually that would come to 34 trillion naira ( double the national budget ) remember production has in no way increased so now people have more money to go for the same amount of supply , this automatically leads to inflation which eroded any superficial purchasing power you thought you had , in one month you will be back in the same space mumu struggling as usual..

Hope I have helped your small Brain this morning and the next time you insult me I will insult your entire lineage
NBS said we have 57 million public servants in Nigeria? How?
The Armed Forces and paramilitary put together, are not up to a million. I know for sure that civil servants working at the federal level are not up to 800k. You can hardly see a state with 50k workforce in Nigeria. So how did you come about 57 million government workers?
PoliticsRe: Those Who Earn N37m A Month Are Telling Those Who Earn N18k A Month That... by DeOTR: 11:25am On Dec 01, 2022
benardtotti:
The number of politicians, at the federal level is less than 1 percent of nigerias population I hope you know that ? Cutting costs may work in a state but will be a drop in the ocean if you do it on a federal level , we have less than 100 executives ( president and ministers plus PA's) then about 300 national assembly members so do the math.
It's still a fact that bulk of our national wealth are being enjoyed by a few.
The President spends 2 billion for feeding in a year for instance. This is happening in a country with over hundred million poor people.
What's the total population of federal government employees and their average pay? Do the maths and compare it to the amount we are spending on the national assembly alone in a single year.
If I have a chance to change things, the highest payed public servant, elected or not, with all the bonuses and all, would not earning above 10 times what the lowest earners are earning.
If we want equitable distribution of income, we must start by bridging the income gap in the public sector.

Democracy have turned our once revered monarch stools to ordinary local government chairmen positions. No more respect and loyalty. It's now the Monarch that shows respect and loyalty to the government in power. What an Irony!!!
Our Monarchs have been reduced to nothing by democracy.
How non entity, who might even be a descendant of a slave, would just wake up one day and decide to dethrone a King is beyond me! I mean, in Yorubaland, you can't have someone alive who was once a King. If a King misbehaves, the only way is to bow out by suicide.
It's a bad idea for elected officials to have a hand in enthroning and dethroning of Kings. We already have a system of selection in place.

ibadan is worst
I helped an Igbo first class graduate understood how to fill forms in NYSC orientation in Mallam Sidi, Gombe. How do you explain that?
I'm not disputing there are young Yoruba people who are illiterates, but telling me ALL Igbo people can read and write is a big fat lie.
Like I said, illiteracy is widespread in Nigeria.
Obinna, a family friend's 11 years old nephew from a place as big as Orlu, couldn't speak any other language except Igbo when he newly came to live with us.
I've worked in an organization that have given me the opportunity to know most inner places of the country. Poverty and illiteracy is everywhere. Like I mentioned earlier, we still have many communities in the East without access road.

You don't know physics. That's why you are arguing physical laws that I just quoted. That's the first Newtonian law of classical mechanics. And it is exactly as I quoted it. The fact you don't know it should make you shut up. But you probably think politics can influence physical laws.

FYI that law says if you're in a car moving at uniform speed and you're standing without holding anything, you will remain so except triggered by an external force. What you don't understand is that even the Earth is moving!!

There are countless videos on YouTube of people standing on parade vehicles or other such and not falling.

Tinubu is sick or demented is a good enough reason for anyone who loves this country and has seen what it's gone through due to poor health of leaders to know not to allow a sick person near the seat. For example, are you aware the P&ID scam was pulled during the Yaradua presidency?
So only those who are shallow-minded will sacrifice the destiny of their country on the altar of politics or personal ambition of an individual. To those, I only wish them what they wish the country, good or bad.
You can as well demonstrate how someone can stand in a moving truck, not holding anything. I've not seen one.
You're even comparing a rotating earth to a moving truck?
P&ID scam was pulled off during Yar Adua presidency, yet it's still the best regime since then, better than that headed by an healthy Jonathan?
There will always be scams whether the President is healthy or not.
Good governance goes beyond having an "Angel" at the helm.
With the way Obi boasts of being an "Aka-gum", his regime would be much the same as Buhari, if not worse.

My late grandma was fluent in pidgin but here I was, seeing people who couldn't even converse in pidgin. That's something I've never experienced in the South East, everybody knows how to read and write at least basically
There are many Igbo people, mostly young, in the south east who can't even converse in pidgin, talk more of English. How many places have you been to in the East? There are still a lot of communities without access road in that region you so much glorified. Everybody can read and write in the same SE I just left few days ago? As in everybody? That's a joke right? I can't even take you seriously since the ability to speak pidgin is an indicator of formal education to you.

That's a lie. Simple physics says an object remains in motion or inertia until triggered by another.
So except the vehicle is moving at such a speed that the wind velocity is high enough to move an object, the object will remain in position.
You obviously don't know what you're talking about.
Buhari, Jonathan, OBj have all done the car parade as president and no one was holding them against the car.
Besides, is physics also the reason why Tinubu was staggering while coming down the stairs in Jos?
Just read what you typed up there and check if it makes sense to you.
Object remains in motion until triggered by another? In position you mean?
Let me assume you mean, position. Consequently, you're assuming Tinubu is also the truck if by now you don't realize a moving truck will trigger you out of position if you're in it without holding anything to support yourself.
None of the people you mentioned ever had a car parade waving both hands.
You can prove me wrong by posting a video here.
Your last point holds no water, in fact, no one can live a whole without staggering or falling, at least, once. Be reasonable. Tinubu falls, staggers, is sick, is demented won't be a good reason for people who believe in his leadership skills to leave him and vote for your preferred candidate.
I like people with focus and foresight. People who can project what they want to be in 20 years and work at it, not accidental President wannabe.
That's why I admire Tinubu despite his role in helping Buhari to power. I knew a time like this would come when he would want to be the President and I can't wait to vote for him.

Yesterday, so many so-called Christians were bashing Sam Okposo, I wept! Bashing the died? From their words you could see toxicity. Where is this character from? Certainly, not from Jesus Christ

Death like for Sam Okposo, is inevitable, we all will face it. Pray you make it. No one know the covenant he has with his maker...

Pastor B is a human who is prone to sickness like everyone. Why the castigation? So, you think if Christ meets us in this castigation and judgement, we'll make it to Heaven? You better start bridling your tongue and train your heart to always think positivity

Today, I join all well meaning Nigerians to pray for Pastor B... We might have different doctrines, but the body of Christ is one. Get well soon, In Jesus Christ Name, Amen

Omodua:
You're blinded by hate. He is saying the Truth. Unlike your principal who lies, he is upright and straight to the fact. His administration will wipe out poverty and deprivation in the land.
How will he achieve that? That's the question.
If you think Buhari plunged Nigeria into disaster intentionally for any reason, then you can believe 1+1 = 11.
See this thing with governance is not 2+2. Things are not how they seem if you're outside.
It's one thing to know what the problem is, it's another thing to understand and know the cause and the way forward.
You're multidimensionally poor, for example, if you still use charcoal and firewood primarily for cooking. How is he planning to reverse the trend in ten years?
What is multidimensional poverty, the indicators, and the roadmap to mitigate it?
How "can we wipe out multidimensional poverty in less than a decade" is a typical exam question we get back then in the University.
Removing the preceding "how" and inter changing "can" and "we" as answer wouldn't get you any mark.
