I personally asked to be moved to Canada when there was an opening. I can't wait to go next year March when the new office opens. From my two weeks visit during my training stint in the US, Canada doesn't seem like a lonely place. Maybe because I feel very comfortable in my own company. |

omonnakoda: 16.5 is the rate that the CBN lends to banks that is the lowest rate for banks and the likes of Dangote They're actually trying to make me believe CBN rate is now 21%. This was after I was informed it rose to 16.5% earlier in August this year. |

This CBN Governor is the most clueless we've had since independence. From illegal deductions from your account ( you won't know unless you get a detailed statement), to dubiously programming ATMs to dispense a maximum of 10k for cards from other banks. May I inform you that it's these banks that made the values of our Naira to fall like Satan fell from heaven? In all of these, the CBN is MIA or playing blind, deaf and dumb. Banking has never been so difficult. |

Multidimensional poverty rate takes other factors into consideration in addition to the regular indices. The fact that people still cook with charcoal and firewood will put them in this category, not necessarily because they earn less than $1 per day. All in all, multidimensional or not, this is worrisome. |

chuqudy: I have already learnt nodejs and react. Currently learning web 3 (blockchain). Just do some personal projects like an API using nodeJs and use react to build the front-end and slap it on your CV. Practice algorithms and other basic interviews answers and you're good to go. If you have opportunity for internship, go for it. And also, open a LinkedIn account, or if you already have one, make it up to date. |

4ward4: Nigeria is above such useless politics you describe above in the year 2023. And for the uneducated voters, it will shock you to know they are more enlighten than you politically. They might be uneducated westerly but Locally they aren't. It's still a fact that it's mostly the same party that wins the presidential election in a polling unit that also wins the elections for the parliamentary seats, because the elections take place simultaneously. You probably don't know because either you don't vote or you've never presided over any election before, or both. |

chuqudy: I am rounding up Angela Yu's 2022 web development bootcamp course in Udemy by December this year. I am planning to take up Kotlin or Python from 2023 January. What is your advice. Python and Kotlin, which one is better and which one can I use to get Job faster.
Also, with my knowledge of web app development, are there any forums, wassap groups or organisation for Nigerian programmers I can join for connection. Thanks. Go and learn Java with Spring boot or nodeJs and thank me later. There are more junior and entry level roles in those than any other languages. Getting jobs with python (if it's not machine learning or data science) and Kotlin (mobile app development) is not so easy. |

Which economic growth have you driven? Are you a bot? How much does an average Nigerian youth contribute to the economy? That's the answer you should be giving me to counter my claim. As for your last question, I'm not going to tell you anything to prove a point. |

Which economic growth have you driven? Enterprising capabilities:... the suite of skills, attributes and behaviours that allow individuals to engage in and contribute to the economic well-being of society. The youth are the majority in Nigeria. How's that reality reflecting in the economic situation in the light of the above? |

VoteObi2SaveNai: God bless you!
This is nothing but propaganda to deflate the outcry of the fraud that happened in NE and NE.
We all knew how difficult it was for adults in the East to register due to large crowd and you're telling me that little kids like these managed to register. How possible is that?
Even on election day in the East, the officials are always strict and often disqualify voters over flimsy reasons talk more of little kids like this standing on the line to vote.
Also, the East is an "open area", whatever happens here always finds its way into mainstream media, so how come nothing of such has ever been reported and it's now it has become more difficult due to BVAS that such is happening?
Someone is doctrine all these!! You still don't know the politics behind having large voting strength. |
Politics › Re: Underage Voters Uncovered In Abia State INEC Register by DeOTR: 1:53am On Nov 18, 2022 |
As a Presiding Officer in a senatorial bye-election in 2010, I can categorically tell you that 4 out of 10 people in the voters' register in Gombe state are underaged. In my experience, it's only in Yoruba land that issue of registering underaged is non-existent. I'd always known that voting strength in the North is over bloated. South west has the highest voting strength in Nigeria in the real sense of it. |

KennethEnyi: These are good solutions . Just like in game of thrones , hard decisions have to be made sometimes for the good of the realm If there is no overpopulation resources will be evenly distributed and everybody will live comfortable lives no reason for crime or japa But with overpopulation Wetin one man suppose chop, 20 people go share am!!!!! Population becomes a problem only when a huge part of it is unproductive. Majority of our population are young people. I know it would be a lot easier if our government provides supports, but should I say, we have a population that's highly unskilled or not enterprising? |
