infonubia: Furthermore, the group said, “We also want to advise the newly confirmed Director-General of NCAA Fola Akinkotun to stop defending what he knows practically nothing about, while we sympathize with his position, we advise him to stop making any further reckless press statement in any futile attempt at defending those who all Nigerians know how they ganged up to prevent him from taking up the position of the DG NCAA for almost 5 months after he was chosen by President Jonathan.”this part of the statement by this group sounds bias and vindictive though. It sounds like they have their personal motive. I mean what is the point in reminding the DG of a previous gang up against him. Are they asking him to take a stance based on vendetta rather than on principles? This group smells fishy. This does not mean the report is false though. I guess time ll tell. |
Monstertrucks: Lol,Okay please no forming heRe.honestly this is the dumbest and stupidest comment I have seen on this forum. |
We wrestle not against flesh and bone, but against spiritual wickedness in high and 'LOW PLACES'. |
You do not play politics but you set up VIP section in a gathering of christians. Wonderful. |
phil5: the government still once 30%of it , the new investors have not taken over in terms of operation and management, still underwaythat is the knowledge I have. So I realy don't know where this Kelvin Ventures is coming from. |
Ruchidera: Pre-paid meter is still the best.prepaid. u r right bro. I realy would like to know if there are others experiencing this. |

rokiatu: Please for all those who have been cheated on, how was the aftermath like for you? How did the experience changed you? and how did you cope with it? And I will appreciate if you please take your time to please vote above. (poll)off topic. pls my sister, what tribe in Nigeria bears the name Rokia? I had a friend named Rokia. She was from Cameroon. Thanks. |
oraclefemi: So we shouldnt write anything just because the whole world is watching? are you kidding? expose them and embarrass them abeg. Let the whole world know what fuckery goes on here, after all they have their own issues too and the media is meant for sharing ideas, good or bad criticism is always welcome so please allow us SHAME ON !goodluck to ur childish and petty mind then. |
naijamerican: Its true. Nigerian leadership are a bunch of idiots that hate themselves. They'd pay some white lackey TRIPLE yet treat their HOMEGROWN talented indigenes like SHIT. I wouldn't blame Keshi for going to another country to coach. These NFF characters are worse than SHYT!boy, you just described yourself. U r no different. |
naijamerican: The NFF needs to hang for the way they are treating Keshi. And Nigeria wonders why it continues to be the laughing stock of the world. Stupidity is endemic to Nigerian leaders and administrators it seemsStupidity is even most endemic to Nigerian youths like u who come here to abuse urselves on daily bases with tribal sentiments, instead of putting hands together to fight that common enemy like the Tunisians did. You find it very convinient to put all the blames on ur leaders. You come here to shame and embarrass urselves while the whole world is reading and watching, thinking they will clap 4 you. The world laughs at you because each time they come to a place like NL to see the state of minds of the Nigerian(black) youths and people, all they see is disunity and low minded tribalistic arguments. They simply conclude in their minds that these blacks(especialy Nigerian black youths) are really fools and slaves. Slaves to their leaders, slaves to the rest of the world and slaves to themselves. First clean up urself bro. |
Whao I just saw this!!! One thing I'd like to say is I observed Ilorin people have mixed up so much. So its not a bad idea to call them Yoruba-Fulani just like Hausa-Fulani. I don't think its a big deal really. Afterall human beings generally tend to evolve into mixed people. Now let me read from page 1.
sensible suggestion |
fluteman: Please don't allow the trolls derail this fine thread, lets just ignore them.OP, i think u shld pay attention to what this guy has just said. |
Truthisit: It is quiet unfortunate, that we have people like Chino72 among us in this forum!tell me, who is a leader without followers? Who is a king without subjects? This guy does not hate yorubas. The attention you give to him is what he thrives on. He and his types do this because people like you still got the time that he has to reply him. The more you quote his comments, the more popular he is. I probably would not have known that he made that comment if you did not quote him. You get it? He is simply playing a tune and the rest of you guys are dancing to it. You are making him king. Simply ignore him and he will fizzle away. |

What is a 'rectum' cable wire? I am trying not to imagine what it is. |
cold: Not just animal sacrifices, children were also offered to Yahweh as burnt offering. Seriously the mind boggleshe did with her according to ''his'' vow and not according to God's instruction. The moral of that message which you have wickedly refused to see is that you do not make rash vows and careless statements like you are doing. Do not allude a man's carelessness to God. A vow is a vow and should be fufilled whether it is good or not. |
bizmahn: Brother Highyo,he is not looking for answers. He is looking for confirmation. |
Why do I feel that this post is surreptitiously trying to justify the killings that took place in that Kenyan mall? Na wa for una. |
Eze Promoe: Nairaland have given me a bad blood towards people of other tribes, Westwards and Northwards.you changed your views because of your ideological weakness and not because of NL. |
stevnwigw1: you think is that time only ur-people has access to nigeria weapon, each region has weapon now for ur info, i would rather die a free man than live in slavry esp. for uncircusized philistian.so who then is going to lead you in your new country if Nigeria breaks up. Would it not be thesame crop of corrupt politicians you call your 'kins men' today? Or are these people going to change and become saints overnight? There is no worse defeat in life than fighting the wrong enemy. |
Students in African(Nigerian) schools hardly get bullied by their peers (except maybe in the universities). They are mostly bullied by their school seniors. If you do your research well you would find out that most of these foreign children that commit suicides were bullied by their peers and not by their seniors. Peer pressure will push a child to suicide much quicker than being bullied by older students. Also i think white people are generally more sensitive and emotional than blacks. |
This is what you get when illiterate and poverty dominate society. If the victims were informed or educationally equipped about good governance, none of them will be running after these oppressors whose source of wealth was through abysmal looting of public funds. It's just unfortunate that those people lost their lives on trap perpetuated to make them dependent and dormant in other to continue celebrating criminals as leaders.
There lies the psychological game of power. Gather all the resources to yourself(steal them if you have to), give the people bits and crumbs and watch them worship and die over you as a benevolent god. Sure victims - The poor and uneducated. |
Shut up you degenerate fool. Address the issue not the person, person. Does her sleeping with Tinubu mean those dancers were right to offend the public with their small turgid yanshes? If you feel so strongly about her Alabama crab dangle sessions with Tinubu, feel free to open a different thread addressing that. Ode!
Intelligent reply |
gregg2: That Deputy govs daughters might even beNote. She told the girl that if she must dance naked, she should not do it in a public place like that. She is not being hipocritical here. She is also simply saying there is a time and place for everything. |
laurel03: What is Islamic name and what is christian name?? All ds name are jew and arab native name... For example mohammed was named given to him on birth and dr was no islam then and so many other name like that. One day I called my sister son, his Yoruba name Tolu, the mother said she don't want us to be calling him that name that we should call him is christian name which is David and I laff and asked her who brought christianity she said Jesus and David existed before Christianity dt means David was not a christian and Muslim also beared d name(Dauda). Mary was named before Jesus and Amina was named before Muhammed etc and most of name heard in bible was also in Quran but different Pronounced but same meaning. Eg joseph- yusuf, Micheal-Malik, Mary-Mariam,Moses-Musa,Gabreal-jibril, Solomon-Sulaiman etc. We lost our culture and they have brain washed us and colonize our mind.. Hardly you we see a nigerian that does not have foreign name either you are a muslim,Christian, or any other unpopular religion in the society like enkarcar, criag message,Amorc etc. Hausa also have a native name only that because of Islam popularity in the region make them beared it most.. The richest Man in Africa Alinko Dangote name is not arabic name and Abacha,Yaradua,KwanKwanso, balarabe,Baraje, Namadi,Sambo,Danjuma etc are not arab nameyou ate very right there. There is really nothing like a Muslim or Christian name. What we have are Arabic and Jewish names. As you have pointed out, Mohammed is not a muslim/islamic name. |
It is a beautiful thing that this thread made it to the FrontPage. Must confess that I have been a bit more enlightened by this thread about our brothers up north. Like there are some names here I didn't know were traditional names. I've always believed they were Islamic. Pls we want more info of our brothers in the north. I believe The more we know ourselves the less tension that exists btwn us. I feel nairaland has been too south west. We need a more national feel on this forum. |
