Brown2Green: How long did it take you to pack your ass together? 2 hours?
Most of the companies shaking the world are privately owned. Not setup by the government. But how would you know?
Where you work that is if you are in employment is likely owned by a person and not the government.
Monies put in setting up unnecessary structures can be used in setting up companies and lives would be impacted positively. If you don't get this don't quote me again. When I say you don't understand what you are on about. Government creates the enabling environment, then individuals and companies build on that platform created. What leads to development; Availability of infrastructures like power, roads Sound education to produce highly skilled workforce Companies. Now leverage on infrastructures and pool of highly educated skilled workforce to create goods and services and continuously involved in Research and development to steadily push out new products to satisfy the markets. Eg Google was a Post graduate thesis by Lary Page and his friend while studying for there post graduate decree in Stanford university Yahoo was a PhD thesis by Jerry Yang while undergoing his postgraduate Facebook was a discovery by a Harvard undergraduate called Mark zuckerberg. And very many other examples. In Nigeria Infrastructures; dilapidated, no new ones Education; half baked degrees that can't generate the thought processes for development Companies looking for quick fix because of government failing in its duties. Caveat; If you fail to plan you have planned to fail. Nigeria failed to plan in the 70, 80s, and 90s when the population was smaller, now we are 200million and reaping what was sown in the past decades Future warnings; analysts projects that Nigeria's population of 200million will double in the next 15 to 20 years. Nigeria that can't cater for 200million people presently, how will she cater for 400million people in the coming decades? These is the future dangers facing this Nation. But we have a very docile leadership hiding her head in the sand. Better tell those in leadership positions to wake up to danger ahead instead of coming online to be calling church |

Brown2Green: Lol
The church doesn't have any role to play in national development you mean? Go and do the dishes. I will say it again your insinuation has no meaning. Is it the church that sets the agenda for national development? Then what is the role of government? If government fails to set the pathway, you now call the church. Go and check other developed Nations and see the way they developed. Your argument is intellectually inferior and impotent. Its more like a mediocre dabbling into what he has no clue about. So enough of me talking over this, before someone infects me with ignorance |

Brown2Green: I will have time to talk about the government another day. But for today, I am interested in talking about what religion has caused us. It has caused more harm than good.
Religion is an hypocritical practice.. Everyone does what benefits them.
Talking about Christianity, the Missionaries brought it to Nigeria from the US, UK especially. They taught is one thing and we're now practicing another. They displayed what can only be regarded as selflessness as Jesus and his disciples did. They left their high estate to come over to our Mosquito infested clime so we could be 'enlightened'.
The worst mistake anyone would ever make is make that annoying statement of ' the Church is not to be blame, or leave the church our of this'
The church has a huge share of blame.
A country that has more churches than companies has failed. Even the bible says 'Faith without Work is Dead' Oga go and pour your frustrations somewhere else. What you are insinuating holds no meaning. Is the Church the reason Nigeria is not developed? Capital no So I can't get you. |

Brown2Green: Ignorance just keeps looming over the head of Nigerians. Nonsense.
Japan doesn't pray China doesn't pray
As well as other 1st generation countries.
In Nigeria, We pray for food We pray for job We part for light We pray for welfare
Now we have more churches than companies because church is the new MMB( Money Making Business)
What other way can pastors get such monies than through leveraging on the stupidity( conscious ignorance) of it's congregation? But doesn't stop you from development. Make you leave the Church alone. If you want to develop, you will develop It has nothing to do with Church That you didn't develop Is because you made the choice So leave Church alone |

That is why one Aboki from the north will bold tell you that the oil in bagels belongs to the north But southern Nigeria are the ones aiding and abetting many things going wrong due to serious division among its tribes. So the North always wins by the division, and from what I see, it is still so. And will continue like that. The North will continue to bear rule and determine Nigeria's direction decades to come. |

bukatyne: I am happy you have realized that adultery kills a marriage so we know that is a no.
From all your posts on this thread, I would say that you have a healthy libido and you are still sexual interested in your wife (I would guess she is still sexy/good looking).
Your wife knows this and has decided to make it a weapon.
I do not know what the problem is however, of she can laugh with you and relate normally till it is time for sex, then it is a non-issue except if she is psychotic or she has issues with your sexual performance.
You know why playing with her, doing more chores etc. Would not work in your case? Because you are rewarding bad behavior. She misbehaves and you keep dancing round to please her. It has registered that if I sexual starve my husband, he will bend over to please me.
If the issues she had with you was not giving her attention or not helping with chores etc, the above would have helped.
Don't just reward bad behavior in your spouse.
What is the solution? 1. Engage her once again, apologize for breaching the trust in your marriage and assure her that you have never cheated again. Whatever the issues are, look into them genuinely and adjust where needed.
If she does not change, then:
Learn how to control yourself sexually. It will be hard however, don't let her feel you cannot do without her.
Stop playing with her or giving her attention. If she ignores your sexual needs, ignore her need for attention and learn to be self sufficient. If she wouldn't cook, feed yourself. Whatever leverage she has on you, learn to provide or beat it.
By now, she would start trying to get your attention by throwing more tantrums... Let her be. If she offers you sex because she is turned on, don't oblige her.
If you do not care about your appearance prior to now, please do. Change your haircut, mode of dressing, get good cologne etc.
When she finally comes around genuinely (not because she needs sex or something else), respectfully lay down the ground rules. If she has issues with you, discussion is the way to go.
Now, if after first engagement, she says your sex life is the problem, get self help books on sex and seduction and up your game in the bedroom.
In all of this, do not cheat or behave in any manner that you will have a blame.
Couples should not treat sex as a treat or reward. It is a duty (I am even taking live out of the equation) you pledged to do.
Goodluck. Here comes a very wise woman that truly understands life. Not the other rubbish i was reading since. E go better for you!!! |

UjuJoan2: Hmmmmn . . . nawa ooh. So you are addicted to sex. . much like a high people get from drugs and alcohol.
Did your wife sign up for it? Did she know she will be doing the work of a sex machine in her marriage? Did she know she was marrying a nymph?
Sex is NOT food, or else celebates will be dead. You do not need regular sex to thrive or stay healthy. That's the addiction lying to you.
You wife does not have the same drive as you, she cannot kill herself to feed your obsession.
Since you read so much, why not seek help?
I hate how men put women under undue pressure in the name of marriage. If the woman dies trying to keep you healthy, you'll just move on to the next person. What are you on about? This is a married man you are talking to He has every right to regular sex from his wife It is her duty to do so A woman manipulating her husband for sex is evil. |

Timi has to be very very careful Even if the pastor did anything Coming at it is not wise
Why I am saying so is because Judging as a human being is seriously on the wrong side. If you had evidence Report him to higher spiritual authority
Why judging other people is very bad is because in judging other people we feel that we are perfect, that we can never do that same thing But this is very wrong That thing you are accusing someone of you can seriously fall into that same trap As long as you are in the flesh The only thing that keeps one from sinning is the Grace of God, because in our own power we are no match to sin That's why apostle Paul said in his writing in
Galatians 6 King James Version (KJV) 6 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
There must be meekness about calling out a brother. Follow other channels, meet Christian superiors that can call him to order. But coming online is wrong. |

linked: Seeing many of the comments on this thread makes me shake my head. I mean, where are our manners and morals. It is sickening that many of the girls of this generation were raised by mothers who aren't good role models themselves, who lack good manners themselves and who left the training of their daughters to chance. So what we have are young girls who lack basic courtesy, common sense and are utterly self-centered. Many girls need training in human relations, cultural values, and etiquette. However only few would realize that they are a product of a failed home and work on themselves to become better persons for their own good and for the good of humanity at large.
The lady of discuss lacks common sense. Why not preempt your mother-in-law by just requesting to help. Say something like " ah mummy! let me help you sweep na?" There is a 99 percent chance that the mother-in-law would have declined her request. She will have most likely said "thank you, my daughter! you are our guest for today just relax". Case closed! She then maintains a good relationship with her in-laws and they see her in good light. This more productive approach would have made more sense. She would have shown her foresight, wisdom and good sense! Why do you think many modern marriages are falling apart anyhow? Because majority of today's women have a lot of character deficiency. Any man must look very well before choosing a wife. Many character wise are nothing to write home about. |

As for this story the man highlighted the origin of the whole issue which is; working his ass off which means having less time for his woman. And this particular issue is one of the reasons why many Unions are having problems today. It is a know fact that average woman like attention just like an average man like sex. Women can go to any length to get this attention. Many women have affair not even because of sex but because of the desire for attention. And bad guys out there understand it and bed ignorant men's wives, because of having that understanding of what women want. |
