my honest advice to anyone in final year med school right now is to start IELTS. Aim to write your Plab or Usmle during HJ.
forget NYSC and residency abeg. Only give one year to Nigeria and japa. I even heard that you can do HJ in Ghana or T&T.
Don't waste your life giving to a country that doesn't give a Bleep about you.
Avoid "had I known" that some of us are saying now.

"All I know is pain, all I feel is rain, how can i maintain, with that shit on my brain "

Too many lines man.

I jammed to DMX during socials in sec sch and that 2 year period whilst waiting to pass Jamb... He helped me through that dark period.

To this day, I still jam him..

Rest in peace Dawg.

We'll meet on the other side one day.

This picture caused a young man to die. I was working in a hospital in Lagos the night of this match when they rushed a 35 Yr guy in dead. He had been watching this match in a viewing centre.
The moment this injury occurred, he slumped and died. Seems he had placed a huge bet on Salah to score in that match..
We later got to know the next day from his wife that he had high blood pressure and had been advised to take medication but he wasn't on any.
Anyways, na so he go.

why are Nigerian trump ass lickers asking her to move on?
The only reason NOI was not confirmed last year was because trump did not want her. Even the EU had endorsed her.
Would she be the DG if trump had won the election? I think not.
Let her shit on his name if she deems fit.
Congrats NOI

Jack should have removed him a long time ago. He used that medium to spread lies about almost everything, from Covid to the election.
He will probably beg ivanka or don jr for phone to tweet. I trust Melania. That one no go give am phone

Good riddance to bad rubbish. This will hurt him more than losing the presidency.

Seems he's already using don jr‘s phone sef.

Edit:I just remembered that Republicans went all the way to the Supreme Court when the Christian Bakery that denied that gay couple a wedding was ordered to do so by the state. They said it was a private business, won their case and gloated.
Twitter is also a private business and can ban whoever it likes. Let him use Potus account to tweet if his hands are itchy.

Rest well bro.. I vibed to your song then.

Chronic Kidney disease in Nigerians is caused by 2 major things; poorly controlled/undiagnosed hypertension and diabetes mellitus.

The CKD and the dialysis would have reduced his immunity making him more susceptible to Covid-19...

It is well.

Even Bush jnr has congratulated Biden on his victory. If the orange decides not to leave on Jan 20th, the secret service will drag him out and I will pay good money to watch that.

Politics / Re: #WTO-DG: Okonjo-Iweala Suggested As New WTO Chief, But US Vetoes by dohyn(m): 8:06pm On Oct 28, 2020
If his approach to trade differs from the WTO, then he should withdraw the US from the Organisation. Afterall, he has taken the US out of other organisations too.

So, what's the excuse for his opposition to Adeshina too? Call a spade a spade and not a garden tool abeg.

Sanchez01:

It is not a racial issue but ideals. Trump's approach to trade negates that of the WTO and NOI. He has a narrow view on trade which has worked for him a lot. The US must have studied NOI to understand her approach which they have found not to align with Trump's. Given the chance, they will to bring someone who will favour them onboard.

It is more of interest and not some colour or racial issue.

It has always been very obvious that Trump is a racist. But some of my fellow countrymen believe the sun shines through his ass.
He did the same with Adeshina. Now, he's doing the same with their kinswoman.

I wonder how they will spin this.

Nigerians are always so eager to crucify doctors and you wonder why they leave in their droves.

Persin fall down from sky, impact did not kill him, crowds surrounding the site didn't kill him, being carried like a goat by emergency responders didn't kill him, it's lack of Police report that did.

Idiotic people are abusing doctors as usual.

The goat that made the statement has come out to say she can't confirm it, it's hearsay. But the damage has been made.

Nigeria deserves whatever it gets.

Google "dermatologists in Lagos /Abuja/PH" or wherever she stays. Check the answers for the ones with clinics and contact details. Ask them for the consultation fee. Pay said fee. See Dermatologist. Problem solved.

As expected, Doctors are the convenient scapegoat. It just baffles me how supposedly educated Nigerians seem to lack brain cells when it comes to matters of health.
What kind of injection causes one to "freeze to death"? Do you think that drug would exist and yet, be medically licensed to use?
Just watch and see how the internet will be awash with this story and people who don't think will swear it's the truth.

My condolences to her loved ones.

Update; just read that the cause of death might likely have been due to a clot. That seems more plausible. Still an autopsy will answer all questions.

No. The problem is being able to walk into any pharmacy or "chemist " to purchase these drugs without a prescription in Nigeria.
If a law is made to prevent this,we won't see the abuse of these drugs again.

Angelfrost:
Ironically, it's most of your fellow doctors that compound the issue of antibiotics resistance... Nigeria is one of the few countries where "trained" medical doctors prescribe antibiotics for flu and common cold symptoms especially in pediatric cases. Same thing for self-limiting oto-infections...

The case of metronidazole use in non-complicated diarrhea is an age long abuse that will be difficult to curb, mostly due to the constipation-inducing side-effect of the drug (which most mistake as the main therapeutic effect).

I see a lot of people here supporting Trump. Good for you. Just know that the man you love has no regards for you as a human. By virtue of the color of your skin, you are sub-human to him.
There are white immigrants in US,people from Europe and Canada. How many of them has he targeted or tried to deport?

Anyways, I really hope for America's sake that they reject him in the next election and if they don't,then the world knows where the American people stand.

I honestly think you should wait till Nov/Dec before applying again. Applying so soon smacks of desperation, especially with your 3 refusals.
I was refused in 2008 and 2013. I waited till 2017 to apply again and since then, I've applied for 6 months visa 3 different times and gotten it.

Been to the UK now 4 times. I strongly advise you wait a while.

Thanks so much for this info.

MetaPhysical:

Very Good question.

They dont always fly down a personal car. There are three different modes for moving these VVIPs around.

1. The office will keep a fleet of cars in posession of DSS and used for protective service of the VVIP at his primary base of duty. In the case of Speaker, base is Abuja but his office and jurisdiction cover the entire nation. He can work from anywhere and any place in the country and his security is modified accordingly to suit the local situation.

2. DSS has operation units in every state. Therefore there is what is called forward arrangement when Speaker needs to visit a State. His protective service staff have gone ahead to that State to get vehicles at the DSS local unit serviced and ready for Speaker arrival. His primary vehicle is left behind in Abuja and he travels with his protective details by air, when they arrive the State the vehicle readied by the forward operation team pulls up and safely whisks Speaker off guarded by the convoy.

3. In certain instances they may have to rent armored sedans to put Speaker in. Before the visit the forward team arrives ahead of him and rent a vehicle, they scrub it down and then get it ready for Speaker arrival. When he lands at airport the rented vehicle in its supped state pulls in and whisks VVIP away.

My own is, how did the Benz get to Lagos? Do they fly it down from Abuja or does the office of the Speaker have spare Benz in different states?

As for grown men running beside car inside heavy rain, E no concern me.

Health / Re: Pakistan, Nigeria, Egypt Doctors, Nurses Top List Of Banned Practitioners In UK by dohyn(m): 1:22pm On May 20, 2019
Our Journalists really need to learn work. The article says that the NHS should not actively recruit doctors from these countries because of the shortage of doctors there.
However, nothing stops Nigerian doctors from applying to work in the UK by themselves. Which is what doctors are doing.
Also, since our health and labour ministers (who are medical doctors themselves) have publicly come out to say that Nigeria has excess doctors, then it doesn't affect Nigeria. There is no shortage of doctors here. That is the government's offical stance.
