We are very sorry to hear the health challenges that your colleague is currently experiencing.

However, TeHN has a group has stopped accepting medical cases and in that light won't be able to provide the much needed coordinated help.

We will continue to be with your colleague in prayer

OK, thanks for your response..

Yeah. Nigerian wastes time. But when I was trying to evaluated my waec, they were helpful, made things go a little bit more smooth with some compensation and strong influence. But this was a weac board. I don't know about institutions and schools
I don't know if you have heard of WES in America. Now this is an agency that wastes time.

WES is presently doing me strong thing...deadline is on the 15th,WES says my evaluation won't be ready till 23rd,this is despite me sending numerous mails to them..It's not their fault sha,na USPS wey no gree deliver transcript that had been posted since 3rd of February.
Politics / Re: What Do Nigerians Do With The Tinubu Documentary?- ABIMBOLA ADELAKUN (punch) by dohyn(m): 1:34pm On Mar 05, 2015
Tinubu is corrupt, true..we have known this for years but Jonathan has taken corruption on a federal level to new heights...
This is why personally I'm voting Agbaje for Lagos and Buhari for president... This is the choice I can sleep comfortably with.

This is sad and equally stupid at the same time..This reflects badly on the entire Nigerian contingent..I just watched a clip of segun toriola's 41rally in table tennis in this games and I felt so proud, only to come here and see this..
There's no excuse for this..You don't as an athelete at this level, take or eat anything anyhow. The coaches know the list of banned foods or drugs even if the athlete claims not to know it.They will now say she used cough syrup or some rubbish like they don't know better.
Sadly,I heard Maurice Green is part our coaching crew for tracks..Let's just keep for fingers crossed in tracks. Hope she learns her lesson.
Music/Radio / Re: Sorry, Slim, But Lil Wayne Is The Greatest MC Alive by dohyn(m): 12:57am On Jul 21, 2014
Comparing Eminem and Lil Wayne is like comparing a Rolls Royce with a Toyota. Lil Wayne doesn't even come close to DMX, who is my own favourite rapper of all time.

Business / Re: Watch Out For Scammers At Shoprite (ikeja) by dohyn(m): 10:06pm On Dec 15, 2013
Something similar happened to me this morning..I got to Ibadan around 7pm yesterday and decided to stay at hotel influential, close to premier hotel.. I was told that the room was 6500n,paid but wasn't given the receipt..On checking out this morning,I asked for my reciept but the receptionist who attended to me last night was not available. The manager then called him and he told the manager where he kept the reciept.. To my utmost surprise, the amount on it was 5000n.I told the manager and he showed me a copy of the hotel rates which indicated that truly, the room was 5k..The paper I was shown last night was laminated and when I mentioned this to the manager,he said that that was the old rate.He then tried calling th receptionist and another co-worker who was there when I checked in last night but their phones were switched off.. I waited for close to an hour but I made sure I got my money back.I do hope the guy is sacked because I'm pretty sure this is not the first time such would happen..Things like this hurt the business and eventually, the employees too.. @op,corruption is deep-rooted in the average Nigerian's DNA and reading comments of people like arcbabe makes one doubt that there's hope for this nation.

I'm not surprised about this..there's one APC at alausa, ikeja on the street leading to shop rite which I initially thought was for shop rite but now, it seems it's been guarding tinubu's late mom ever since..so, abuse of power is everywhere. It's just that some politicians are more lavish with it than others.

In as much as I really hate the presidential pardon given to Alams,I also don't like double standards..The British government recently released a saudi prince who was jailed for killing his homosexual partner to continue his sentence in Saudi Arabia..so,who's fool who?
Still, the pardon for alams was unpardonable...

Celebrities / Re: Last Photo Of Bisi Komolafe In Hospital Before Her Death by dohyn(m): 12:59am On Jan 03, 2013
cotton101: did someone really really ask what is wrong with that hospital - oh gosh - anyway when someone has not seen a patient in a decent hospital hooked up to all sorts of machines monitoring them you can't really blame them.

apart from the dirty walls is that kind of bed normal to you for a hospital - even my two year old knows that picture looks abnormal
.. People like you make me laugh..You probably live in US/Uk and come online to see the sorry state of things in Nigeria, and make snide remarks..it makes you feel good right?I know what a well equipped hospital looks like and I know that a good percent of our hospitals are not well equipped BUT we make do with what we have,we save lives with what we have..The lives that we save don't make the news, only the ones that we lose do..People then come and say rubbish as if deaths don't occur in US or Uk. The only way our hospitals will be better is if more of our leaders die(yes,I said it),die in them.Maybe, then, funds will be allocated to equipping the hospitals.Sadly, for now,it's the poor that utilize the facilites.
Till then, you diasporans can continue to turn up your noses at the "pathetic state of our hospital walls".We will continue to do our best with the resources available.

cnn_olofofo:

My dear, everything is Wrong with that hospital picture, have you been to any well equiped hospital before, definitely NOT what seeing in that picture.
. That picture shows someone lying on a bed and it's not even a full shot. You can't see anything around her in that frame..I'm not saying that the hospital is well-equipped or not,I'm saying that you can't base your judgement like that poster did,on that frame..It's just a negative mindset that people have, nothing is good in this country,it all has to be US or Uk..We don't know what she died of,but already people are assuming that the hospital is bad..A classmate of mine died last december in the Uk during childbirth.Strange, but true.
The reason teaching hospitals seem to have lots of deaths is because of late presentations.Though, that's not the case here.

How do you all expect this woman to survive in this type of hospital no offence to the doctors and nurses God help my family oh don't let me see what will make me have to go to this kind hospital I beg you God Jesus please.
. Can u kindly tell us what is wrong with the hospital? How can you deduce that the hospital is bad from one single picture??It's patients like you that will present late to hospitals after going to churches and God knows where else, yet expect doctors to work miracles..shior
By the way,why a blue cannula though?are her veins that tiny?

My dear,I thought Nigerians were stubborn...apparently,I thought wrong.I never see this your type before oh!!kilode??
You opened a thread some months back about this same boyfriend and his committment issues asking for our advice,we all told you to break up with him because he wasn't serious with you,yet you persisted..I think you aborted for him,he had 2 phones in Nigeria,a girl picked ur calls bla bla bla..Very soon,u'll ask sexkillz to delete this thread, like you did for the previous one.

Anyways,I don't have any advice for you..like I said,"it's only the stubborn fly that will follow the corpse into the grave"..That boy is bad for you,run and don't look back.

Typical...Because a doctor missed the diagnosis, all medical schools/doctors in Nigeria should be thrashed.I wonder where the pediatrician that eventually got the diagnosis right trained?Probably in the US where they never make mistakes right?
I'm not holding fort for the doctor that got it wrong, mistakes happen in medicine just like any other profession, sad to say but it's the truth. All I'm saying is that don't imply/say that all doctors in Nigeria are quacks because of one person's error.

I have seen countless number of dead people in my line of work..Some right in front of me,still I couldn't watch that video more than once.Even animals get a more humane death than what was meted out to those boys..So,I'm wholly in support of these students.
Granted,an eye for eye makes us all blind but the community struck the first blow.I don't care if the boys were cultists or pastors, that is irrelevant. You don't do things like this and not expect a backlash.I mean, did they expect a pat on the back for killing 4 humans like that??
Like I said in another thread,I was almost lynched by a host community just like this back when I was in school and so,I know how those boys would have felt whilst it was going on.Thank God my story didn't end this way.
The students have struck back, now we can set up "committees" to look into this matter and hopefully, draft a law against jungle justice in Nigeria.Strengthen the police force and let us have faith in them again.Only then will this barbaric act stop in Nigeria.
