As expected, Doctors are the convenient scapegoat. It just baffles me how supposedly educated Nigerians seem to lack brain cells when it comes to matters of health.
What kind of injection causes one to "freeze to death"? Do you think that drug would exist and yet, be medically licensed to use?

No. The problem is being able to walk into any pharmacy or "chemist " to purchase these drugs without a prescription in Nigeria.

Just saw a video where the girl was laughing with her friends. Said she's been trying to blow since with her music and hasn't been able to,so she made up this story and within 24hrs, she's been getting calls from bloggers and even an invite to come speak to someone in London...

I honestly think you should wait till Nov/Dec before applying again. Applying so soon smacks of desperation, especially with your 3 refusals.
I was refused in 2008 and 2013. I waited till 2017 to apply again and since then, I've applied for 6 months visa 3 different times and gotten it.

Been to the UK now 4 times. I strongly advise you wait a while.

Very Good question.

They dont always fly down a personal car. There are three different modes for moving these VVIPs around.

1. The office will keep a fleet of cars in posession of DSS and used for protective service of the VVIP at his primary base of duty. In the case of Speaker, base is Abuja but his office and jurisdiction cover the entire nation. He can work from anywhere and any place in the country and his security is modified accordingly to suit the local situation.

2. DSS has operation units in every state. Therefore there is what is called forward arrangement when Speaker needs to visit a State. His protective service staff have gone ahead to that State to get vehicles at the DSS local unit serviced and ready for Speaker arrival. His primary vehicle is left behind in Abuja and he travels with his protective details by air, when they arrive the State the vehicle readied by the forward operation team pulls up and safely whisks Speaker off guarded by the convoy.

3. In certain instances they may have to rent armored sedans to put Speaker in. Before the visit the forward team arrives ahead of him and rent a vehicle, they scrub it down and then get it ready for Speaker arrival. When he lands at airport the rented vehicle in its supped state pulls in and whisks VVIP away.

My own is, how did the Benz get to Lagos? Do they fly it down from Abuja or does the office of the Speaker have spare Benz in different states?

Our Journalists really need to learn work. The article says that the NHS should not actively recruit doctors from these countries because of the shortage of doctors there.
However, nothing stops Nigerian doctors from applying to work in the UK by themselves. Which is what doctors are doing.
Also, since our health and labour ministers (who are medical doctors themselves) have publicly come out to say that Nigeria has excess doctors, then it doesn't affect Nigeria. There is no shortage of doctors here. That is the government's offical stance.

This is just silly. The politics of El-zakzaky versus Nigeria govt is not my concern. Who is right or wrong should be decided by the court and the government should follow the rule of law.
1)That being said, Iranian doctors will obviously be biased.
2)Said doctors assessed the patient,came to the conclusion that he has numerous health issues but could not name at least one diagnosis.
3) These "doctors" do not look professional. I doubt they will dress like this to go their clinics in Iran.

In conclusion, this is just a sham affair.

Oga Pius was one of the reasons i still use Facebook. His social commentary on Nigeria and Kogi state in particular was something i always looked forward to.
He also gave a funny insight to life in Canada. Can't begin to imagine the gravity of the loss to his wife and daughter, Tise.

Hello, i saw your message and i assume you tried to contact me because of your issue. Unfortunately the only advice i have is for you to send an email to UKVI or call them and speak to someone about it. Wish you the very best.

This is just a typical case of love gone sour. Ladies borrow money from guys and don't return it in most cases. Now that the reverse is the case,we won't hear word.

It's very likely there's a medical cause to be found but we prefer to put the blame on innocent villagers..

Just this morning I spent 2hours on Agege road going to ikeja. Mad traffic. Saw people passing one way and I was so annoyed. On my way back,the traffic was still there but not as bad as in the early hours.
One guy driving Toyota camry(evil spirit) tinted all over was speeding on our lane,flashing hazard light. I just parked on the road facing him and switched off my car.
He started abusing me,idiot,fool,move over. I didn't respond. People on the other side, in traffic,were telling me to let him pass. One man even said "Mr Governor, make he pass na".
3 hawkers left their sales and were begging to go on my way. I eventually left after 20mins. Passing by the guy, he called me bastard and spat at my car.

In all of this,nobody went to meet him to ask him to turn back. No one. Everybody was asking me to just let him pass.

We shout corruption every time but I put it to you that we are our own problem in this country.

I still don't see how what 2 consenting adults decide to do with their bodies in the privacy of their room is any business of mine.
