It is clear that leadership has nothing to do with age but everything to do with a sense of responsibility. I really find it laughable (yet not funny) that every period we look forward to elections even when nothing changes except the faces on the ballot yet we frantically try to get a different result when the process is fundamentally thesame. A revolution will surely come, but it will only be when we have all come to the point where we've overcome our state of denial that Nigeria is a failed experiment. Until then, there can only be three kinds of people... The deceivers, the deceived and the others. |
Bishop4real:We should condemn acts of indiscipline in their totality and not handpick issues to support myopic arguments. |
Bishop4real:Nothing more to add. |
Bishop4real:It quite pathetic that a group of individuals inflicting pain and terror on fellow citizens are not called to order and it is not an issue for you, but a people who demand to determine their own future by themselves and are being oppressed to abandon that move is giving you nightmares. |

"Shut up there is no difference between IPOB supporters and Buhari supporters". Actually there is. While we know that one group is fighting for self-determination, we're not exactly sure what the other is fighting for ![]() However, they both share one thing in common which is taking their destiny in their hands. "At your age you don't know boycotting next year election is like indirectly voting for buhari". Please indulge this though for one minute, assuming we all sit back and refuse to come out for voting, what do you think will happen... Will Buhari be declared winner? "Who told you that Buhari will win next year when he have offender many people. Majority of Middle Belt will not vote for him. 11 million people that lost their jobs will never vote for him and Shiite muslim that he have killed for the past 3 years will never vote for him". I find it really troubling that people who think they know so much are actually the ones who know so little. It means we'll be continuously bleeped over again and again. Is it that you're yet to see how desperate these people are ![]() "Nnamdi Kanu from nowhere came out began to tell people to boycott next year election so Buhari will win so we will continue suffering under Buhari till 2023 while he live in Isreal enjoying himself you are here in Nigeria suffering and laughing under Buhari. Every reasonable Igbo knows that if buhari win next year he will punish igbo people more than what he did since 2015". Another ignorant point. Why is NK in Israel in the first place? I agree with the fact that Buhari may probably win if there's a boycott but as per the punishment, unless the next step is another genocide I don't see anything new. With all the theories flying around I had to do my own fact finding and I can conclude that this issue of voting is similar to doing thesame things over and over and expecting a different result. We're so interested in sending the current out without minding what the subsequent will do. That is madness, and on that I see reason with NK. |
I must say I'm impressed with oyebanji44 for keeping his cool without resorting to insults that is now a norm on nairaland. Meanwhile, we can argue FOR and AGAINST without belittling others please. Having noted that, I'll now proceed to state my opinion... oyebanji44:Firstly, nobody is scared of anybody seceding, the fear is about the after effect. Secondly, nobody ALLOWS domination. It's either you fight against it and win or lose; if the north comes for the Yorubas they will not come out whole. "The north are the majority and their land is locked". At least you recognize this fact. "This was wat led to civil war.the north didnt want the yorubas to go..cause yoruba's land is very attractives to foreign investors" I wonder where you got this notion ![]() The civil war had nothing to do with the west. Gowon who said Nigeria has no basis for being one still turned round to fight tooth and nail to keep Biafra from seceding simply because the paymasters who had interests in the oil warned that it will be an economic disaster for the country if it happens. Don't take my word for it, research. Again, I put it to you that if complete resource control is implemented to the letter, what you see as Lagos economy will slow down. AroleOduduwa:False. The only way the Yorubas will have good footing is IF there is a national referendum and peaceful dissociation of Nigeria as we know it to component nations. Only on that basis will their current situation be built on. However, if it happens that after all said and done, Biafra leaves Nigeria, they'll not find it funny with the North who will now go full force on enslavement. They'll not want a second loss and the frustration of losing the East (and possibly the South) will be taken out on the West. StOla:The bolded is what I consider my regret on this matter. While other leaders were fighting for the interest of their region, our own papa them were fighting for ONE NIGERIA. Many people may not even know that the sole aim of the so called igbo coup was to free Awolowo from incarceration and install him as the president of Nigeria when Akintola, with the backing of the north as usual, hijacked the south west party structure against the principles of Awolowo which led to the revolution that led to the Wild Wild West name tag. awgumayor:I disagree on this. It is the fear of the inevitable. Do you also know that, having backed Akintola to hijack the southwest political structure, the north had certain designs on the West which includes, but is not limited to forceful subjugation? The young soldiers could not sit idly and watch so they did what they believed was in the interest of the young nation. Again, don't take my word for it...research bro, research. ZombiePUNISHER:I admire your passion, but Nigeria will NEVER work. Whoever is offended by this reality, I owe no apologies. We strategically aligned to remove the last government, what do we have to show for it oyatz:Let's not deceive ourselves ![]() |
buhariguy: buhariguy:Why so much bitterness in one post ![]() Please calm down so you don't choke on your bile. |
mekaboy:Bros, I only started listening to Kanu recently when the present government made him popular by the unguided use of force and I can actually say that, from the few presentation I heard and read, the guy is blunt with the truth. Yes, somewhat crude in remarks but he says it like it is. When a lot of people became uncomfortable and tried silencing him for good, I had to do, and I'm still doing some facts finding. I charge you this day, and to all nairalanders, do not take anybody's word but question everything you hear or read. mekaboy:This shouldn't even be a topic for discussion. |
mekaboy:I would have ignored your post because it lacks substance but I had to point out some things in this quoted part. I used to think in this line but overtime I have come to realise one fact which we are either too ignorant to understand or still blindly denying it's reality. Firstly, NOTHING happens anywhere in this country unless permitted or approved by the owners of Nigeria. Everything that happens are at the dictates of unseen hands, we can continue believing the illusion of "our votes count". Secondly, the fact that we continue to cast votes even when we know, deep down, that the system will be manipulated shows that we still believe in it and are bound to abide by whatever outcome. Worst case scenario you'll go and debate it in court which is another puppet system on a general note. Thirdly, as long as you're a state under Nigeria you're still bound by whatever restraints the owners place on your state. Is it not in this same country that FG disregards even court injunctions. Even if you are the most visionary of all humans as governor and you receive a notice to soft pedal, it's either you play ball and be like the others or you go renegade and watch how your state becomes a case study; and it is still uninformed posts like yours that will fill cyberspace propagating the propaganda which the bullying government disseminates. Now from my little research and observation.. i. NK calls for boycott of elections because they are all fraud and IPOB will not identify with it, thus, cannot be bound by the outcome which will nullify the call for referendum. ii. Your suggestions as quoted would have been practical if there was resource control by states and regions. iii. NK does not regard the state governors and igbo leaders because they do not add any value to the igbo people. They are all loyal subjects and errand boys who basically do as their paymasters instruct. They are all selfish and greedy for gain and that's why igbo leaders are always used to fight against the Igbos. Go and check. iv. The average igbo man will adapt to any condition he finds himself, not necessarily due to satisfaction but being self-sufficient. NK is only a rallying voice. Analogy, the Israelites were "managing themselves jejely" in slavery until Moses came to disturb the Pharaoh and ancient Egypt with secession. Moses led the Israelites doesn't mean if there was no Moses somebody else won't have done the work. Recall that it was the attitude of the ancient Israelites (probably those who had it better) that caused Moses his punishment of not entering the promised land, Joshua took over. If NK is no more, it's only a matter of time before another will rise to take his place. History always repeats itself becaise we choose not to learn from it. I fear for this country because we might soon witness our own version of the ten plagues...that's if it has not started. |
If I recall correctly, Ben Carson was in the race for the president in the last US elections. |

alignacademy:Core values of the organization |
alignacademy:Fixed. It depends on the core values of your organization. Multinational companies use assessment center events for entry level who have little or no relevant work experience to gauge their performance in the model of a real life job scenario. For experienced hires, I think there's a tailored set of personality questionnaires that can be used to find out who is the best fit in line with the company's value. This can also be modelled to suit your organization in a cost effective manner. PS: I'm not a HR practitioner. ![]() |

Let the wise judge for themselves. Let the foolish continue in their folly.

The things we witness in this country practically negates all we were taught in social studies. Police officers are used as personal guards while soldiers now engage in "crushing" civil disobedience. So much evil going on with impunity and we are too scared(?), docile and ignorant to accept reality. Worst still is how they pounce on those who have the "balls" to call things out as they are, without window dressing. It's a pity. |
pryme:Bro, which part is the ignorance: wanting a sovereign state for your people having been showed, both openly and subtly, that you do not belong to this country OR supporting a man who is doing everything possible to bring this concern to the international stage? I am rather in awe of the fact that many do not see anything wrong in trying to carry out extra-judicial assassination on a man. With so much verbal and written articles to discredit the man, has anyone really tackled the issues he raised as the conditions to rest the campaign? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Yet we busy ourselves with labelling others as being ignorant. If we are truthful to ourselves we ought to know who the ignorant ones are. |
pryme:The entire IPOB global family hereby declared Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as her sole candidate for the upcoming 2019 planned general election in Nigeria. It is expected that come the election day, Biafrans will be massively, practically and definitively stamping their decision via a tsunamic ELECTION BOYCOTT. Introducing herewith is also a winning formula known as REFERENDUM as a viable running mate aka Justice. Mr. Okedinachi Chidiebere while addressing the media, enjoined all those being subjected to all shades of degrading treatments that through the despotic policies of late Buhari's administration which is yet being presently sustained by a Sundanese impostor called Jubril in concert with the Fulani cabals, to rise up and embrace this very rare opportunity provided by the IPOB global family. He passionately called on the oppressed people of Benue, Taraba, Nasarawa, Kaduna, Kogi, Adamawa, Plateau and Gombe States to join forces with these formidable personifications clothed in ELECTION BOYCOTT AND REFERENDUM so that they can finally extricate themselves from decades of servitude and death. This he further maintained will usher them into lasting peace and stability even in their ancestral homes where licensed Islamic killers will no longer wield power over them. He pointedly cautioned all from the domain of justice to vote wisely on Election Boycott and Referendum by tightly observing a "Sit-At-Home" on that election day. All were encouraged to stoutly defend their votes through a consistent demand for a REFERENDUM. |
The urge to seem relevant make people speak without reasoning. It's a pity ![]() |
Obi1kenobi:@point 1, I think that clause includes "...and Jews in all parts of the world... " ![]() @point 2, you might not be correct on that though. @point 3, while I won't rush to the conclusion of alluding it to inferiority complex, let me hold my The question now is, what is the richness of available historical data to prove or dispel the fact that there might be a link between the Igbos and the Hebrews? How well have these knowledge been documented and passed down through time |
BiafrodExposed:Alright we've crossed stage one of your learning process. In this lesson, you have identified that there was an intention to issue him the documents. Now clap for yourself. ![]() Let's proceed to the next lesson... Excerpts: "The embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, may have to stay longer in Israel where he is currently holed up, following his failure to use the travel document that would have enabled him to move to the United Kingdom. It was learnt that the Biafran agitator failed to utilise the Emergency Travel Document provided for him by the British authorities until the document expired." https://punchng.com/kanu-to-stay-longer-in-israel-travel-document-expires/amp/ Once again, you're welcome. ![]() |
BiafrodExposed:I wonder why you keep re-emphasizing that I'm IPOB, I don't see the need to deny or agree. It's besides the point since I'm already aware people resort to name-calling when put on the spot. I'll keep drumming it into your thick skull, peradventure it will sink in and touch grey matter (if any), that investigations are done by accumulating useful facts and presenting them in an organized and we'll written (or prepared) article (or audio/video) such that the audience and/or readers will see for themselves, the issues raised. So far it has been tantrums and running around in a desperate attempt to gain a few coins from the current rave, so cheaply that many have already seen through your charade and have dismissed your show of shame with a wave of hand. I, on the other hand, like to engage people with an intent to understanding different perspectives but so far it's crystal clear I am wasting my time. Obviously you lack substance to offer apart from telling us what is already irrelevant and debatable public knowledge. Now let me educate you a bit. Prior to this whole saga, most people had no idea of the existence of Nnamdi Kanu. Some others knew nothing more about IPOB except as a group of flag-carrying, jobless(?) individuals with a tall dream. However, this government has played into the hands of the young man who, having followed the episode for a while, I can infer has intelligently taunted the presidency into helping Biafra gain international attention, and as it is, the attention grows by the day. It amuses me when your likes, try to concoct laughable and inconsequential data with a view to sounding intelligent or seem relevant. This drama has gone international, and on the international scene nobody will be asking if the number of downloads was 60million or the number of members on the facebook page is 5000. Unlike you, I gather perspectives and analyse information to a reasonable conclusion, and when I can't, I seek out more information. I give you a poser... If Nnamdi Kanu is representing a Biafra fraud like you claim, why then was he even interviewed on state TV in Israel? Unless you want to tell me you're more grounded in secret intelligence that Israel. I ask other questions but just treat this one. |
BiafrodExposed:You lost me when you made reference to the issue of passport as "lie". It only proves my initial impression that your own style of investigative journalism is one borne out of sheer frustration and mental imbalance. I'll help you out with research material. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2018/10/ipob-britain-briefs-nigeria-on-nnamdi-kanus-travelling-documents/amp/ You're welcome ![]() Remember I asked about your vision and mission statement in this new found profession, kindly furnish me with a clear response. Thanks |
Some people reason with prejudice, some reason in line of personal interests, yet some some reason in line with their ignorance. It is the third group that are the pawns in the grand scheme because even the Holy Book proclaims that "my people perish for lack of knowledge". The young man, Mike Akin, at the end of his facebook video skits will always say... "QUESTION EVERYTHING, DON'T BE SHEEP". Why is everyone talking about Nnamdi Kanu if he is just a rabble-rouser ![]() Why are these people desperately trying to shut him up permanently ![]() Does it mean the usual "silence him with money" didn't work out ![]() |
BiafrodExposed:Okay. However, like I said earlier, put more effort so you'll at least do a better job at educating us on the IPOB fraud. I like gaining new information and I enjoy learning from others but this compilation of yours is a disgrace to investigative journalism. That's all I needed to point out to you. |
bantudra:Sir, It's not about being "liked", but taking destiny into your hand having been shoved to the wall for too long. Everyone does what he believes will help self preservation. A man ought to know when he is not welcome and walks away; however, you can't claim to not want a man's presence yet stop him from leaving. |
BiafrodExposed I was expecting something concrete only to watch a preview of IPOB facebook page with you screaming like an uncivilized human. If you really want to make a name for yourself, try giving us exclusives on classified insider information on the so called biafrod you claim to expose. If that's too hard you should dedicate your excess time to more useful ventures like community service or other volunteer work. It's probably none of my business but think of your family and relatives who'll be feeling embarrassed by your uncouth display of silliness on the internet space. |
0monnak0da:This is where you literally missed it. A handful of individuals with political ambition or interest does not equate to the tendencies of the whole Igbo race. Yes, it is not unusual to align with someone who appears to be favorable to what you stand for, among available options. What the Igbos want/need is a stable environment and level playing field. |
0monnak0da:I'm interested in this topic. The person you quoted gave a counter point, please buttress your points further so people like me can learn. |
Whether Nnamdi Kanu is a fraud or a coward is not even my concern. I am very much interested in knowing why many people are so jittery over a man they called a nobody. Why does the whole country palpitate whenever this man as much as opens his mouth to yawn. Is there something that some people are desperately trying to hide ![]() |
flyingdutchman:This matter has long been addressed. Was the video interview in Israel currently on Youtube also doctored? |
