BiafrodExposed:I have noticed, recently, your new found passion for investigative journalism into issues relating to Nnamdi Kanu and Biafra. Please educate me on what your vision is and what you hope to achieve. Thanks in anticipation. BabaO2:You really think so? Let's overlook the fact that you rephrased the questions the interviewer asked to suit your vanity. |
Fifteen pages of comments and none has actually addressed the concerns Nnamdi Kanu raised about a whole region being suppressed economically. What one can deduce as the root cause of all these mudslinging is FEAR. Not fear of military action, NO. Not fear of aggression, NO. Thesame baseless fear the ancient Egyptian elite had of the Israelites which made a certain Pharaoh decide to oppress them as a means of eliminating whatever "threat" they posed. We all know how it turned out. I just came across this interview link below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_odAy4rVz8 The Igbos are (arguably) the most nationalised tribe in Nigeria. Some claim (rather laughably) that they try to dominate any location they move to. I'm not sure what that means but what I have come to understand is that this sentiment is the outcome of the continuous reinforcement of ideas sold to the host communities by a handful of aggrieved individuals and it has now become a pandemic. I know for sure that an Igbo man is more interested in profitable commerce than tribal or religious affiliation (otherwise he won't even leave the confines of his environment in the first place) but this current wave of attacks has led to what has been happening in the last few decades. Some folks who think themselves intelligent argue matters based in black and white, but fail to understand that things are not always in black and white; there is that grey area (shrouded in diplomatic innuendos) which many are ignorant of. The issues Nnamdi Kanu raised are not unknown to the powers that be, but are akin to a localised economic embargo placed on a region. The SE/SS are seen as core Biafra zones (those of us still living in denial should better recognize that fact). If allowed the "benefit" of economic structures and amenities might become too powerful to control so force them to spread thin, since the average Igbo man is an explorer. Some of you here blabbing about what you know next to nothing about, not all Igbos are IPOB (fact) but ALL Igbos seek an identity. Do not equate the activities of a group of greedy and self-enriching stooges of the caliphate masking as Igbo leaders to what a sovereign Igbo nation will be like. Before you type your next sentence on this topic, take a moment to ask yourself... WHAT AM I REALLY AFRAID OF? The truth? A man's bluntness and superior knowledge? The possibility of losing control? A people's struggle for freedom that others are to People fear what they do not understand, but know you this day, Nigeria was handed over to the Caliphate, they are the caretakers, nay, owners and will do as they deem fit as advised by their colonial masters. Meanwhile, we can continue living in this illusion of freedom and one Nigeria. |

spyder880:Oga Ken, just like that ![]() What about the rules of engagement and other matters that were raised on this thread. |
I am the "Boss C" kind of person. Some bosses may not have any of the traits mutually exclusive, it depends on how delicate the matter is. |
theoldpretender:The bolded only strengthens the argument in some quarters that the westerns are untrustworthy opportunists, no? Even political interest is founded on principles, which we lack in this part of the world anyway. |
I've always noticed a pattern when I read through comments about Nigerian political landscape and it's quite funny really ![]() I am curious, if the SE is a political non-entity as most posters desperately want to prove, why do you guys always make reference to the SE in every topic. Why not ignore the SE to oblivion. Or maybe it's not what you guys are trying so hard to paint. Another issue I find confusing by definition is, reading the "SW" and "political sophistication" in one sentence. Yet "one man" controls their political affairs and I read how he is praised to the heavens. If the SW is as enlightened as one is wont to believe, one would expected the SW to be the drill zone for political aspirants. Unfortunately, it's just Furthermore, cult-following and core north are like synonyms so it's already clear to one why the powers that be would rather the north remains unenlightened for their political benefits. It's possible that the core north do not trust the SE because they feel the SE cannot be controlled, which makes some sense in the political context; I'm still not clear what the average SWesterner's grouse is with the Igbos ![]() What is the root cause of this ill feeling. Is there someone reasonable that can explain this to me once and for all please. |

vikmeek:If you are referring to the main test, that's a NO. While the mock test can be taken from anywhere with a computer and stable internet connection, the actual PTE exams are taken at designated centers after you've registered with them. Some advise you register AT LEAST TWO (2) WEEKS BEFORE your chosen exam date, i.e two weeks or more |
Those that need mock test, see below. There's free mock test (up to 10 if the promo code is till available) but it will not be evaluated so you only have a feel of the test session. The ones that are evaluated go for between 12-13 dollars as at the last time I checked though I got a discount when I bought mine last month. Donelli:Cc: vikmeek, obaoged, bisolar |
tunlex01:Yeah, but it won't be evaluated. It only gives you a feel of the exam. |
Bambizzle4k4556:Worked for me. It gives two evaluated mock tests that replicates the real test session, it is timed and it gives an idea of what your level of preparedness is...at least that's what I wanted to know. I received the result for the first trial I did three days later. I'll take the second trial later on. |
Feraz:That's MSExcel. |

I wasn't able to get the mock through the guys here on nairaland but after series of searches online, I came across "ptetutorials" through which I got a 2-mock test voucher for $11.90 (there's a discount that expires 31st August). I can't recall where and where I clicked to get to the offer but maybe this can helphttps://ptetutorials.com/r/DO166155 I hope it helps |

Good morning. Can someone please direct me on how to reach Spyroxy1 for the scored mock practice test. I can't seem to reach him via PM. Thanks |

Xtruzz:You just alluded to the fact that the process has truly been hijacked. ![]() |
These do not always apply. OP if you'll do copy and paste at least put a caveat: Do Not Try This at Work |

If you are talking of GDP, Anambra has the largest GDP in the south east. Abia state is a distant second. Enugu state is basically a civil servant state and should be third or fourth. You are such a hopeless frustrated worthless illiterate. Your illiteracy is so nauseating and infectious that you should be chained and caged. If you had a superior fact to back up your assertion you won't resort to insults. I.diiotic dunce. Nkita lachaa gi anya there. Nkita nwuru anwu. So you did not also see that Onitsha was recorded as the dirtiest city in the world, you only saw Owerri? This guy is a hypocrite.Dear Elders of the Igbo community, for how long shall we continue to bicker among ourselves on such trivialities ![]() Inasmuch as I have heavily criticized the governor on so many issues, I must commend him on his dedication to sanitation.I believe we should adopt this kind of constructive approach instead of arguing about which state is My brother I tire for them oo. Most of their studies and statistics showed that southeast is the zone with the highest poverty level in southern Nigeria. But when there is a federal or international programme for poverty alleviation, southeast will not be considered or maybe just one state while most of the projects will be taken to most states in the southwest which they claim is the zone with the lowest poverty level in south and Nigeria at large. However, nobody should take Nigerian statistics of Enugu GDP seriously. To them, Osun state has a higher GDP than Enugu and Anambra combined. The bolded shows once again that Igboland is being underestimated and probably waved aside as being almost inconsequential. I plead with Igbos to STOP thinking about Nigeria and think of their own region as their homeland.I agree with this submission. It is quite unfortunate that the Igbo man, who by every definition is a nationalist, is being look down on as an enemy of national unity. While others deal mostly along regional lines, the Igbo man happily deals in every location as long as business profits. However, the realities on ground are no longer favorable as it were, and so, we have to review our rules of engagement. When we begin to ask our government (the east) the right questions, put them on the spot, impress on them to create a favorable environment and we begin to re-establish those investments that are hitherto far from home, we will see Igboland in a new glorious state. When we replace bickering among states with copying and sharing laudable ideas, Igboland will be the most sort after investment destination in West Africa. I dream of that day when an American/European/Asian will apply for visa to come to Igboland and will be in waiting pool because the application pool is filled up ![]() Ekene'm unu! |

Taofaj4u:Still too early to pat backs. Let's allow the process run its course. Meanwhile, it seems the calls are in alphabetical order of surnames, those who have been called should help us by stating the first alphabet of their surnames so we can keep track. Thanks, and Congratulations |
Xtruzz:Kindly clarify, is this distribution taking place from HQ or from the zonal offices? |
Tamihawtt:This last statement just polluted the whole point you were trying to make. Nobody said these category of people didn't put in the work (which is not totally non-debatable) but don't feel too pleased as having earned it just because you had a contact whose neck you sat on ![]() The only persons who have every right to say they merited their appointment are those who will still make the list if judged STRICTLY by performance and the advertised positions without the benefit(?) of federal character allocations. Enjoy your success but don't try to justify a bare-faced anomaly, most especially not on moral grounds. Good luck in your career ![]() |
