Toffy200: I am writing this because it happened right in my eyes! A colleague of mine Ifeoma Nwachukwu saw a police officer collecting bribe from a road users this morning at Okota about 6:29am.. Ifeoma took a photo of this act with her phone and immediately this police man by name 'Chukwu Nge' forcefully dragged the phone off her hand injuring her in the process and another police from the driver said dragged her brother who was driving by the neck too so they dnt drive off. After succeeding to do this, he deleted the picture and I came down from my car to plead with the policeman as he was becoming violent.. This policeman immediately called his squad and spoke in Yoruba "We need the van and two policemen Asap as there are men here who are dragging our guns and assaulting men in uniform" i was shocked and i asked the police why he lied and he was unapologetic! As I speak they have taken Ifeoma and her brothers to Isolo police station in Okota Lagos and they have charged them to Okota court on this yellowed charges! Please I need you to please pass on this broadcast till it gets to the right audience!!! My name is ayanskid and I stand for #JusticeForifeoma Lets take it facebook and punchng.com Repost this all over every available online bloggs and news blogs. |

Why do women (young ones) believe by some funny right, they can define men?? When they are angry..they go nutz using their God given tongue and mouth to say what comes to their mind, but when it comes to men (young and old)they say "walk away" rather than sharing BLOWS as our natural instincts dictates.
There's a clear difference between a lady and a woman...character differentiates the two hey.
Its evident women of this generation can't stand verbal war, which they solely ascribe the rights to themselves ehn.
If you can't take it,then don't dish it.simple!!! |

PassingShot: Sensational journalism again!
Why the title has to be "Buhari's ministers, lawmakers ...." is what baffles me considering the fact that this is the standard practice.
@ the main news, Nigeria cannot afford to continue to spend lavishly on our lawmakers and other political office holders. APC lead by GMB and their national leadership must do something to significantly cut all these outrageous allowances in the short run and make politics less attractive in the long run so that only those with the calling to serve actually hold political positions. I was about dropping same line.it wasn't Buhari that approved the existing package. Its the PDP ruling party "selected rulers" who while still in office were apportioning 100s of millions as monthly pay after exit from office. Yeye...CHANGE IS HERE whether PDP disciples like it or not. |

onelife97: @op,permit me to tell u my personal experience. I got married abt 5 years ago and have a 4yr old boy.But ever since my wife delivered the boy,my life has become unbearable and very difficult to move on.my opinion in any matter with my so called wife mother of my son never counts. But she LL have to confide ir seek advice from unknown people online or her racist family b4 she LL to what I say even though she LL never bring any I her own idea to the table. If u ask my wife a million questions,I bet u csn only get one answer everytime"I DON'T KNOW".those has been goin on for the past 4 years.for more than 3 years, she won't even sleep with me in the sane too let alone make love/have sex with me.I can count how many times we did it in the past years. Anyway,to cut the long story short,I decided to look for another girl because I won't kill myself with depression. So sometimes last week,I was talkin to a girl on phone and she was eavesdropping and I got caught. However,I was thinkin there would be problem in the house and heaven might fall and the hell would break loose. But to my deepest surprise my wife has been treating m like a man of the house now.askin me for sex without rubber etc. So I have learnt a new lesson now.WOMEN DON'T APPRECIATE GOOD GUYS WHICH I HAVE BEEN ALL THESE YEARS. Unfortunately for her,I am gone and no looking back.just waiting for something and she LL be completely out of my life.
I won't tell u what to do with urs.u know her and u know the best for ya.think it thru and take ur best decision without anybody interference pls.
Women are not supposed to be over- pampered. Fixed. |

persius555: There are lots of west african countries citizens involved in this business. They are mostly senegalese, guineans, beneniose, malians, lebanese etcThey are in the business as third party middlemen dealers.OBJ had all the framework in place to have a vibrant mining sector in place, but for whatevr reason he lost focus afte oby ezekwesili was removed. I cry for this darling country, our leaders are the ones killing us. The rot in this mining sector has been there since colonial days. Maybe buhari should consider bringing mrs oby ezekwesili back to that sector, she did an excellent job in the few years she served as minister of solid minerals. Precisely.put the right people who are patriots in the relevant field of their expertise and watch them deliver. I pray Buhari makes good selection of people to work with and not political position nonsense like the disgraced incumbent. Else same fate awaits him. |

IbnSultaan: Dear Nigerians, as we FOCUS our attention on Oil, the Chinese Miners are looting US dry through illegal mining all over Nigeria. Much thanks to the "stealing is not corruption" government crew. They gave these opportunists the free hand and will to do as they please at the detriment of our nations success and well being, simply because of their corrupt nature and schemes. Nigeria have various materials qnd mineral resources to keep the nation and the citizens living a progressive lives but they don't Care nor have mental willpower to make the right decision, which eventually would benefit the citizens. Mining alone in Nigeria could yield what Oil proceeds is equally providing if proper investment Is channelled towards it. I hate the lootacrats in Nigerian government from councillors to presidency. |

Full Overcommitment on the part of the Government, a Chinese company that built a 57-storey skyscraper in 19 days can replicate the same feat here in Nigeria. its only corruption that has been pulling wools over our eyes to the REALITIES OF LIFE !!!! Tell them o. |
Politics › Re: PHOTOS OF NIGERIA REFINERIES: The Unbelievable! by donodion(m): 9:38am On May 05, 2015 |
Flets: Our biggest problem as a nation is illiteracy and our mob mentality. That is why corruption thrives.
Nigerian government has never ran any organization right... Its always run aground because of the unproductive mindset of an FG employee. NNPC, NITEL, Railway corporation, NEPA etc
As such, any attempt to have the FG run refineries will be an utter failure and I don't need a sooth sayer to say that.
Secondly, these refineries were built on archaic process modules in the 70s and 80s and no attempts have been made by subsequent governments to upgrade to newer technology.
Repairing these refineries at this time is like trying to fix a 1975 peugeot truck whose spare parts and accessories have long been stopped in manufacturing by the vendor. Any attempt to try to fix the refineries will require paying more for it to the equipment manufacturers fabricate custom made equipments to fit our moribund refineries.
The cost of fixing these refineries will build two new refineries each.... Then why fix them? Only the heavy ends will be economic for an entrepreneur at the moment.
The Way Forward Take away fuel subsidy and issue refining licenses to renowned downstream companies. The FG can get into a JV agreement to retain ownership like is done in the upstream and exploration industries.
In the long run, FG can afford to sell crude to the local refineries at subsidized rates for local consumption. The employment and business prospects of the downstream is enormous. But we need relative peace in the SS region for these to be viable.
GEJ was headed this exact path but we lot were too blind to see. Bruv they know all this but would loot and go build mini refineries in other countries like Trinidad and Tobago.OBJ is guilty of this. So much was expected from GEJ been a SS,only for him and his lootocrat crew to worsen the situation with their " I don't give a damn" attitude. To build mini refineries will not take decades, don't mind the thieves who always pad and inflate contract values, also create the imaginary impossibility of building more refineries in Nigeria. They are all bastards!!!! |
