Don't mind the idiots.

Nigerians in diaspora exhibiting their colonial mentality, the more reason they will never come back home.

Can UK dare attempt to sanction any USA official based on the various atrocities committed in USA?

APart from the killing you mentioned, are the idiots downgrading their country aware of what Trump did to the Black Life Matters protesters?

Judicial panels are on in most parts of the country and that should be enough for now Rather than allow our sovereign country to be ridiculed by the same thieves that stole from Africa to develop their country.

Stupidity is when you think sanctions against your own country are sanctions against the leaders.

If USA deny us weapons to fight crime, who suffers?

I had since noticed that many people in the diaspora do not really want Nigeria to progress, just to justify their stay in foreign lands.

You are the real stupid person.

Which court of our land declared them election riggers?

It is very shameful that a country like USA that pretends to adhere to democracy and the rule of law can act in such a shameless way,a direct affront on our judicial system.

Is it not a shame that it is America & other western nations whose sanctions we need just to get our leaders to organise themselves properly. Even in a 21st century, we can't still put ourselves together to do things right. Whoever cursed Nigerian leaders to be this terrible in organizing her society delivered an original curse.

Stupidity is when you submit your sovereignty to another country.

The supreme court of Nigeria had decided the Kogi election,so what on authority is USA declaring rigging?

Is rigging attributable to only one party?

Politics / Re: Obaseki To Tinubu: You Can’t Extend Your Political Empire To Edo by Doyin2(m): 6:07pm On Sep 15, 2020
Philipponzaghi:
The first time Tinubu political empire extended to Edo State was when he sponsored Wole Olanipekun for Oshiomole election tribunal which he won at the appeal court. That was when AC took hold of Edo State until this day and Oshiomole performed well in terms of governance in Edo State.

Tinubu has the right to speak in Edo election because he is a leader of the APC party and he will do what he can for their candidate to win just as Atiku spoke in support of Obaseki when he asked Edo people to vote for him.

I am sure by Sunday evening, all this noise will stop about Edo and we will at least have a hint of the candidate that will be elected.

You spoke my mind Bros.

Atiku made the same broadcast to support PDP,no body talked about godfatherism.

All this rubbish talk and very deceitful talk about godfatherism would be put to rest on Sunday.

debt management company recently posted or updated state list
Edo was not in top 5 in 2020. but before the current governor administration began Edo was 3rd behind Lagos and Kano. this things are there like the governor said Google it! my vote will not count but I will vote the man who has chosen to impress me and disappoint me @ obaseki. when oshiomole was campaigning for him in 2015, I thought he will be use by him but no . Edo is up to you to decide. my longest write up on niralander , I did not even edit. sept19-20 another historical day in my state Good night guys.

But let me advise you that debt is not death.

It is quite laughable for financial illiterates like you to always use debt as a negative political tool.

You have a point that understanding the system is critical.

On the other hand, obaseki made his mark in the private sector that's why Osho baba had confidence in him to steer Edo state to another level which he has done in the past four years.

For him to say that Obaseki was a failed stockbroker without fact to back his claim wouldn't make him the next governor of Edo state.

We have a political/public system in Nigeria where failures abound everywhere and nobody is doing anything about it, not even the institutions that are meant to serve as check and balances.

POI has been in government since the days of Igbinedion, what are his achievements to tagged Obaseki a failure?

I leave the question with Osho baba.

I beg you people should stop all this rubbish talk.

How can you in this world ascribe the success or failure of any government, on one individual employee, out of thousands?

The highest position POI occupied was Secretary to government for God's sake.

I was not in doubt that the SIMPLE AGENDA is just a white paper without an implementation strategy. Obaseki has shown that governance is not simple but complex (especially in times of unprecedented global events like COVID).
The APC man thought tonight's event was a campaign rally (where propaganda thrives), instead of selling himself he ended up mudslinging his co-debater, without providing cogent answers.
If you were a business owner who would you employ as manager between Obaseki and Ize-Iyamu? The answer is clear for sane minds not political urchins.

By their fruits you shall know them.

Definitely you did not watch the debate fro A to Z.

And about the SImPLE agenda,go read the document.Even though he mentioned some strategies,to say he has no implementation strategy is quite mischievous.

Politics / Re: Mass Actions Against Fuel Price Hike Begin Next Week by Doyin2(m): 11:37am On Sep 11, 2020
StephenUchec:
We seriously need Gods intervention in this our country Nigeria.

It still baffles me how government keep increasing prices of things in Nigeria without even carrying out an assessment on its citizens affairs.

Further explanation:

1. The rate at which Companies sack their employees are really on the high side.
2. The rate of employment in this country is very low.
3. Most remaining staff/workers salary are been slashed.
4. Prices of things in the market is getting extremely high.
5. cost of expenses for every expenditure is really high and unbearable, while the source of income is nothing to write home about. etc.

Yet no one coughs as if we are all been charmed. Honestly,i can hardly comprehend.

And there lies the ignorance.

It is not government that increased the price of fuel or electricity, but the govt played a major role in ensuring that the prices were not above current levels,in the form of intervention.

If you must protest,it's your legitimate right, but know what you are protesting against, I beg.

The only common sensical protest now is to tell govt to bring back the subsides or fix our refineries.

For protests to achieve their objective, they must be reasonable and focused.

Any protest to reduce fuel price to N85 or any other level, is quite stupid.

It is the amount of subsidies brought back that will determine the fuel price.

So government should tell petrol dealers that bought fuel @ N150 to sell at N85?

The earlier we realised that fuel and electricity distribution has been privatised, the better for us.

One thing that a lot of people fail to realize is that they are a lot of disgruntled PDP members at grassroots level who know that Obaseki shared billions to the tax collectors in Abuja PDP NWC without anything getting to them.

They are very angry and there will be more defections.

Obaseki shared billions of naira to PDP tax collectors yet he blackmailed his former party members with purported money sharing agitation.

This is the highest level of hypocrisy . Obaseki deserves to face the firing squad.

Edo is definitely not Lagos because Lagos is working and far better than Edo.
