Phones › Re: Apart From Pinging: What Else Do You Do With BlackBerry? by drnoel: 4:55pm On Sep 21, 2012
henryskywalker2003: BB is this, bb is that, blah blah blah. ... <scoffs>. Puleeese. Give me a break here. Frm what i see, that device has succeeded in Nigeria where it has failed in Europe and the US because it succeeded in making its users really dumb. ok, let's talk facts here.

1. What do u call a business smartphone that cannot view pdf files locally? i mean come on, my Nokia N70 has adobe reader out of the box. To read a pdf file on a BB, u either email urself the file and open it on the browser or u either purchase a pdf viewer frm the appworld.

2. What kind of smartphone restricts its users from making use of internet facilities unless they pay a premium? i mean, even if u do have free mb, u still can't browse unless u apply some tweaks on it. That sucks.

3. What kind of smartphone has the power of HSPDA and yet restricts the users to just 5mb data limit downloads unless once again, u apply some tweaks to it.

4. What kind of smartphone comes without a radio? Come on, even Nokia torch has a radio.

5. What kind of smartphone takes 3-5mins to startup? imagine putting ur device on and waiting on it for 5mins to come on b4 using it.

6. This is the only smartphone that takes 2hours to charge completely and 6hours 2 die. Smartphones frm sony boast of having burst charge capabilities that enable lesser charging times and higher usage times.

7. What kind of smartphone forces the users to pay a premium fee for internet and yet wouldn't allow them to share it on other devices. (though with the advent of os 7.1 they fixed this issue as well as that of the radio but it's only available for their latest phones Bold 5 & 6, Curve 5, Torch 2)
U 4got one impt part and that is: What kind of smartphone has limited apps for its users compared to other smartphones and would require its users pay premium from making use of these limited apps (do u guys know that when I bought my galaxy and loaded all my apps I did't pay a dime, men I felt serious pain cos I had been wasting money paying apps on BB. I swore then neva to use BB again).

Does it mean that airflight industries is not profitable or nigerians lack good management policy or corruption where the nigerian owners just come to the airflight industries to make quick money, embezzle alot and leave the industry bankrupt having stolen enough. Please someone should shed more light.
its a nigerian thing. their managers are busy using company mony for private investments.

Family › Re: My Pastor Doesn't Want Me To Marry My Fiance by drnoel: 3:32pm On Sep 19, 2012
Dupsychic: Dear readers, I am in a relationship, about to get married next year. I have been dating my man for over 8 years, he proposed last year when we went on holiday to Paris. We both own our business, and we very okay financially. My man loves me very much, and I know he will do anything for me. The only problem I am having is my pastor is not happy about the relationship. I am in the choir and a committed member of my church. My pastor saw a vision during choir practice, and he called me to his office, saying my future husband is not the one for me, and the marriage will no last. He said he sees him walking away from the marriage, and I should not think about it.
Please continue...

Now, I am very confused, I love him very much, and I know that he won't hurt me. Should i take a huge risk leaving the man of my dreams, or listen to the man of God. My heart tells me to stay, we all know no marriage is perfect. I have invested so much in our relationship, we both have actually, and breaking his heart is the last thing i want to do. I am 29, and my man his 31. We are both ready to tie the knot. I have prayed about it, and honestly, I am ready to take a risk, and i have read articles, and people's testimonies that sometimes its better to follow your heart, and pastors can be wrong at times.

Now, what do you guys think?

Confused Bride To Be......
I will be plain about my sentiments and don't really care who I will be hurting when I say this. Tell ur pastor 2 go xxxx himself. If ur man of 8 yrs is going 2 walk out on u later, would u not want that 2 be both ur decision, would u not want it 2 be ur experience with him and no 3rd parties involved. I tell people, "4get what these pastors say, live ur life and enjoy with in d right way". Its ur decision but I tell u, it would hurt like mad if u walk away without knowing if what the pastor told u if true or not. Besides, most of the stuffs these pastors say is not from God. Remember, they are also men and are moved by worldly things.

grandlexuz: Hahahahahahah. Our police more corrupt to Nigerian Police. You either think today is April fools day or you just had a bottle of your regular Ogogoro. Cameroon and Zimbabwe comes second to Nigera in 419 shocked shocked ... I am happy you know you guys are first. Tell you what? Nigerians have occupied the first 20 positions. Any other country comes as 21st..lol Cameroon and Zimbabwe trailing behind Nigeriahuh grin grin.. Onila this is not a night of a thousand laugh. I told you stop drinking Ogogoro and get some well refined stuff. Can I send you some?
funny u say that. I have heard of many cases where people from other west African countries commit crimes and claim to be Nigerian. One case like that, the guy kept lying so much that the police had to come to the train station to round up a lot of boys who could communicate with him (just so they could find out what country he originate from). I heard the Nigerians spoke to him in Ibo, yoruba, hausa and benin. The guy later told em in pigeon "why una won spoil im market"

Elueme: It is one thing to have evidence and another is how you present your facts... Nigeria has no reason losing that case at the ICJ.. Our legal team were either too complacent or misrepresented facts.. My interest in Bakassi goes beyond the huge oil deposit but Nigerians who have lived there since the days of their ancestors.. How do you explain that they are aliens in the land they have known and called theirs?
its my sentiments too. It was in justice on the part of ICJ and irresponsibility on the part of the Nigerian team that was sent. but the question is not whose fault it was that nigeria lost the case but how does Nigeria rectify the evil that was done.

Politics › Facts Reveal That Bakassi Belongs To Nigeria by drnoel(op): 11:54am On Sep 17, 2012
LAGOS — Fresh facts have emerged, showing that the disputed Bakassi peninsula which the International Court of Justice, ICJ, ceded to Cameroon, actually belongs to Nigeria.

Vanguard gathered that the jurists at ICJ might have been misled by the legal teams of Cameroon and Nigeria, who did not show vital information that clearly placed Bakassi as a territory within the geographical, political and administrative jurisdiction and control of Nigeria, contrary to the October 10, 2002, verdict which awarded the sovereignty of the peninsula to Cameroon.

International relations experts, renowned historians, researchers and politicians told Vanguard in Lagos, last week, that contrary to the claims by the Cameroon and Nigerian legal teams that the first legal treaty on the Land and Maritime borders between Nigerian and Cameroon was the 1913 Anglo-German treaty, it was discovered that the limits of the Land and maritime boundaries between both countries went as far back as 1811 when the British made the treaty that went from the Lake Chad region down to the Atlantic ocean through the Rio Del Rey Estuary.

The Great Fraud

1. There are evidence to show that in 1994 when a dispute erupted between Nigeria and Cameroon, Nigeria asked the British government to attest to the true status of Bakassi Peninsula, the British government replied to assert that the Peninsula belongs to Nigeria.

2. This was when Alhaji Babagana Kingibe was Nigeria’s Minister of External Affairs but curiously that document was not tendered at the ICJ trial.

3. There are fresh evidence to show that in the March 18, 1961 plebiscite in Southern Cameroon, to determine areas that either wanted to stay in Cameroon or join Nigeria, Bakassi Penisular was not among the areas that participated in the exercise because it was given that it was not part of Cameroun.

According to Southern Cameroon gazette, Volume 7 no. 14, the areas that were asked to determine where they wanted to belong included Mamfe, Bamenda, Kumba, and Victoria. Also, the people of Bakassi have voted in Nigerian elections and the Nigerian Customs has been in control of the territorial waters since 1811.

4. The 1913 Anglo-German treaty which Cameroon rested its claim was not signed by both countries before the outbreak of the First World War in 1914.

5. Germany renounced all its terrirorial claims at the end of the war in 1919 and all the former territrories controlled by Germany came under the mandate of the League of Nations.

6. There were clear cases of ethnic cleansing in Bakassi peninsula in the past 10 years in violation of the Green Tree Agreement.

According to Prof. Walter Ofonagoro, a historian and former Nigerian Information Minister, who did his Ph.d thesis on Southern Oil protectorate, “fresh facts have emerged to show that the Cameroonian legal team deceived the ICJ into believing that before the Anglo-German treaty of 1913 upon which it rested its case, there were no other treaties that delineated the land and maritime boundary between Nigeria and Cameroon, which is a fraudulent claim”. Prof. Ofonagoro said that he has in his possession, 1822 documents which vested ownership of the Bakassi Peninsula to the Old Calabar Chiefs, by extension to Nigeria, and debunked claims that the 1913 Anglo-German treaty was the first recognised treaty on the land and maritime boundary between Nigeria and Cameroon. Said Prof. Ofonagoro: “This is not true because as far back as 1811, the British had already established a strong sphere of influence over the territories that eventually became Nigeria in 1914. The Anglo- German treaty upon which Cameroon built its case was contestible because after the First World war ended in 1919, all the territories controlled by Germany were taken away from them and given to the League of Nations.

Gaddafi was sodomized, A Video shows abuse frame by frame of the whole event. I would have posted d video but for the size.

An analysis of video obtained by GlobalPost from a rebel fighter who recorded the moment when Col. Muammar Gaddafi was first captured confirms that another rebel fighter, whose identity is unknown, sodomized the former leader as he was being dragged from the drainpipe where he had taken cover.

A frame by frame analysis of this exclusive GlobalPost video clearly shows the rebel trying to insert some kind of stick or knife into Gaddafi's rear end.

Amaks Tonia: I have a friend who has a very good guy, God fearing, honest and all but he does not seem to be on the same level with her. The types of friends he hangs with are introverts, those that don't know what's happening or fashion and can't really dress well and some what lack experience in dealing with girls. I don't know what else to advise her so i resorted to getting more advice here.
Why r women like this, I ask myself this question everyday especially when i come across questions like this that spoil my day. So ur friend doesn't just want 2 change her guy, she also wants 2 change his friends. D problem with this actions is that u change the guy, thinking u did him a favour but u don't know u only released a sleeping monster that should have been left alone. Most introverts I know tipped in2 sociopaths after they found release, believe me, I know. Best think u shld do is leave ur guy the way he is,...and pls leave the guys he hangs out with alone too, if u know whats good 4 u. Besides, u knew he was hanging out with slacker and still started dating him.
