Imagine if the Nigerian reps or senate make sure a law that forces them and executives to act on petitions like this? This will help full representation of the Nigerian masses and boycott a case where ur representatives do whatever they want. It will help accountability. This kind of thing is what should be pushed for in Nigeria. Ur voices should be heard not ignored.

Before the presidential election we used every avenue to try to pass one message"that Buhari is a disaster,a tested and trusted human right abuser, unrepentant bad economist whose time as a millitary detector plunged Nigeria into its first economic mess, no matter how reliable and authentic our claims are the people who claims to know it all decided to play deaf to our claims and observation and went ahead to vote him in

Now not up to two years down the lane they are planning a protest against their supposed Messiah and guess who they want to join them, those people whose advice they choose to ignore. You can't refuse to listen to my warning against something and later run back to me to help you fight that which I warned earlier on.

Biafrans are killed everyday for asking for their right,a right which is covered even in international laws and organizations that Nigeria is signatory to and protected even by united nation but Nigeria security always shot them at sight, Biafrans have many things to bother about and our Niger brothers are still hiding from soldiers in Oporoza,Gokana and Creek due to their believe that they should be a stakeholder in what nature deposited in their land.

Igbo's and their Niger delta brothers got a lot to think about and are too busy to leave their offices and shops to self service over nothing. Go and protest! Our job is to watch it live .
Any sensible Igbo and Niger delta know that this is the right thing to do

Pls i will make this very brief. Since when i got married to my wife i have tried to be helpful in the home front but it seem she want to capitalize on that.

She has been doing these many times and i overlook, yesterday own got me mad which i begin thinking if marrying is bad. I came back frm work and she ask me to help her with our baby which i did; but when she came she now told me that i am going to cook the soup, which i told her it has been long i did that rather she can tell what what do - like preparing the ingredients then she will cook. Pls note i wake up everyday by 5am wash d plate, sweep the house and d outside even wash her cloth anything she can't.
Yesterday she said if i don't cook which i stood my ground, then we are going to sleep empty stomach and that was what she did.
My people pls is there any wrong i have done. I am a faithful husband, i assist her in anyway i can but she alway want me to submit to everything she says.
Pls help me with ur opinion because i am weak.

Modified: to those that says am lying, well it is up to you to believe but i need ur opinion. I seldom post since 2012 i registered officially here.

If u are not married, pls pray to whatever God that u serve to give u a woman that understand and respect u no matter the circumstances.
Didn't want to reply u before but I will. Women are like children, they always want to test their men to their limits. Its left for u to give ground or not. If I were u when she did that, I would have taken my car keys and driven out to the next eatery if there is one still open. Buy food and bring it back then tell her rhw soup is ready pls come and eat.
From what u have said ur wife may try such again next time and if she does then alwaye have something u can rustle up fast like indomie around. U do it eat and go to bed. Never let her pull u into a confrontation.
Initially my wife was always seeking a fight or confrontation. I used to shock her when I don't respond. I just ignored her till she decided to be an adult again.
The one that shocked her most was onetime the nut in her head loosened again and she tried that with me again.
I took over all the household duties, I normally wake by 5 to do everything in the house plus cook and clean. I did it for two whole weeks while ignoring her while shopping for the house. It was when she csme to me later to complain that I do all chores and cook and clean and that there's nothing for her to do,that shr feels useless to me. That was when I ate her alife. I told her off, I didn't call her names or insult her. I just made it clear to her that if I didn't need her in the house anymore, then she would consider going back to her parent's house to cool off. That insident reset the loose nut in her head and I never had anymore incidents again till now. Thats 2 years ago.
U are the man of the house. U don't need to talk much or be aggressive to have ur way.

Asking stupid irrelevant questions..like why do you see yourself in the next 5 years?

Or making you feel like they are doing you a favor by granting an interview. Its irritating. If you didnt feel i was competent, you would not invite me.

The focus really should be..can you get the job done? Unfortunately its a difficult issue for Nigerian Hr. In other places, HR pple have specialties for certain jobs and know what to ask for. An Hr that hires for an accounting role would not have to hire for a Tech role. unfortunately just very few companies can afford that luxury.
A friend of mine was asked that question once and he irritatingly answered and I quote "I see myself being your boss". Ofcos he didn't get the job then. OMG, he walks into another interview 3 months latter and sees the same HR consultants sitting among the panel. My guy just carried his documents and left cos he knew he won't get it. Luck smiled on him a year later though.

I have gone through a post yesterday tittled MURIC order the arrest of apostle Solomon I came across a comment by one user named mortebo for which he shared a picture quoting some Qur'an verses and ask if anybody can explain. I decides not to only quote and reply his questions but answer him as a thread of its own so that other people will know that islam doesn't teach terrorism and Muslims are not terrorist. As long as you will read to the end and be just to yourself, you can understand what I mean. Alo find below the image he shared.

Here we go....

Good afternoon Uncle

Please find below the answers to your questions with little knowledge of mine.

Yes as your image tittle show, islam is a religion of peace, the word ISLAM self is derived from the word ASSALAM which means PEACE

1. starting with your first quote, that's is Surah Baqarah Chapter 2 verse 191, actually using this verse as reference without considering the verse that precede it will completely change the meaning of the verse, mind you Uncle, Qur'an is not a like a novel that you can quote any portion of it as you wish to make reference with it. One message may be scattered in 2 or more verse, so taking one of these verses as reference will not explain the message correctly if not changing the message completely to opposite. Now read from verse 190 down to verse 191

Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 190:

Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for Allah loveth not transgressors.

Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 191:

And slay them wherever ye catch them, and turn them out from where they have Turned you out; for tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter; but fight them not at the Sacred Mosque, unless they (first) fight you there; but if they fight you, slay them. Such is the reward of those who suppress faith.

2. Your second quote uncle is Surah Al_imran verse 28, the verse is telling Muslims of that time and also of today to be careful of favoring the people of the scripture(that's the jews and the christian) to being friend with them against their Muslim brothers. In simple term its telling muslim not to be alliance with the non-muslims against muslim, find below the full text of the verse

Surah Aal-e-Imran, Verse 28:

Let not the believers take the unbelievers for friends rather than believers; and whoever does this, he shall have nothing of (the guardianship of) Allah, but you should guard yourselves against them, guarding carefully; and Allah makes you cautious of (retribution from) Himself; and to Allah is the eventual coming.

3. Yes Uncle you just quote Surah Al_imran verse 85, but you misunderstood the message it convey, the verse is telling us that only Islam(that's the religion of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Eishmel, David, Solomon, Moses, Jesus, Muhammad etc) is acceptable by Allah in the day of judgement, anybody that goes with other religion, Allah will not accepted it.

Surah Aal-e-Imran, Verse 85:

If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah), never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter He will be in the ranks of those who have lost (All spiritual good).

The following verse also back the above one Uncle

Surah Aal-e-Imran, Verse 19:

Truly, the religion with Allah is Islam. Those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) did not differ except, out of mutual jealousy, after knowledge had come to them. And whoever disbelieves in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, then surely, Allah is Swift in calling to account.

4. Surah Alma'eeda verse 33, you totally changed the meaning of this verse, as in you did not translate it correct, the verse didn't say infidels, rather it say those who wage war against Allah and his messenger, and who are those? in simple term are those people who fight the messager and his companions or fight any means of conveying Allah's message to the mankind.

Surah Al-Maeda, Verse 33:

The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land: that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter;

5. Surah Anfaal, verse 12, read the full text below uncle, the message is this verse is that Allah is telling the prophet that the victory the believers get in their last battle against their counterparts is as a result of guidance and assistance from Allah, as Allah send angels to accompany the muslim troops, and then send confusion or commotion among the disbelievers hearts so that they can be defeated easily by the muslims

Surah Al-Anfal, Verse 12:

Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): "I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will instil terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them."

To be fair, Allah went far to tell the reason why he did that to them, find it in the next verse uncle

Surah Al-Anfal, Verse 13:

This because they contended against Allah and His Messenger: If any contend against Allah and His Messenger, Allah is strict in punishment.[color]

Politics › Re: Buhari Was The Right Candidate To Beat PDP — TINUBU by drnoel: 9:15am On Jan 26, 2017
Ofunaofu:
National Leader of All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, yesterday, outlined steps that can urgently take Nigeria out of recession, if taken and that Buhari was the right candidate to beat Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Tinubu, who for the first time spoke on the inside strategy that catapulted the APC to power, gave reasons he backed President Muhammadu Buhari for the 2015 presidential election, adding that in a short-while Buhari had done what the ousted Peoples Democratic Party, PDP could not do in the war against the Boko Haram insurgency.

Tinubu made the disclosures while addressing participants of Course 25 of the National Defence College, NDC.

He commended the military for its exploits against the Boko Haram insurgents and warned that Nigeria must be on her guard.

‘’I commend the Nigerian military for what it has achieved against Boko Haram. You have battled and defeated this evil enterprise. This vile force has been reduced to where it no longer poses a strategic threat. You have done as well as a military can in putting down this amorphous danger. The nation thanks you. I must say here, however, that we cannot lower our guard.

‘’We have learned cardinal lessons from the Boko Haram crisis. First, we must govern justly and for the benefit of the people to prevent the recurrence of violent extremism in the future,’’ he said.

Unjust allocation of resources

To wriggle out of recession, Tinubu said we must ensure just allocation of resources and shift primary focus to the economic front.

His words: ‘’The decline of high oil prices threatens to be a long-term phenomenon. It placed the nation in recession last year and revealed the structural weaknesses of our national economy.

‘’Strategic objectives during this period of economic uncertainty must be to re-engineer the economy bottom up, diversify the economic base, strengthen our industrial base, modernize infrastructure, enhance agriculture, and provide employment. And of course, ease of doing business must not be overlooked in order to attract foreign investment.

‘’The lower oil prices also reduced hard currency earnings. This undermined the naira, causing a steep rise in the cost of imports. The higher prices have suppressed aggregate demand, causing a decline in business activity.

‘’The challenge before us is a difficult but not impossible one. If we stick to the progressive beliefs of the APC, we shall overcome these difficulties to place the economy on surer permanent footing.

‘’Government has shown its commitment to these ideals via its budget for this year and by the strong help it is giving state governments to meet their budgetary requirements. The unprecedented stipend programme for the poorest highlights the government’s concern for those who have been left unattended by the dynamics of the marketplace.

Economic restructuring

‘’Achieving the desired economic restructuring will require a change in economic mindset and strategy. We must avoid the nostrums of mainstream orthodoxy that say government deficits are always bad. In the situation we face, deficit spending is essential to bolster aggregate demand and direct funds to projects that build infrastructure and bolster employment.

‘’We must better harmonize monetary policy with fiscal policy. It undercuts our goals if monetary policy is unduly tight at a time fiscal policy begets deficit spending.

‘’We must also realign trade policy with our need to create a meaningful industrial base and more potent agricultural sector. We can no longer allow cheap imports to preclude the development of industries and sectors strategic to our enduring economic future.’’

Tinubu noted that “widespread” poverty caused by an unjust allocation of income, wealth and resources provides fertile ground for extremist ideologies, that run contrary to the inclusive democracy we seek to perfect. Protracted years of gross mis-governance are a down payment on the rise of extremism.’’
Delving into his personal experience, Tinubu said his vision has been on the transformation of Nigeria into “a robust decentralized democracy with a diverse industrial base, to provide sufficient jobs to a growing urban population; and a sufficient agricultural base, to achieve food security and provide a decent livelihood to the rural population.’’

According to him, this was the reason he fought against military rule and initiated steps to kick the PDP out of power.

Practical strategic leadership

His words: ‘’During the 1980’s and 1990’s, a progressive politician like me was at extreme odds with the military. This opposition was not against the military as the military. It was against military governance. Military governance was diametrically opposed to the democratic Nigeria I envisioned.’’

Where we are now

‘’Leading into the 2015 election season, progressive politicians throughout Nigeria and across party lines recognized the nation was in deep trouble. Corruption was rampant. The Boko Haram menace growing. The economy was unbalanced and government policy was not providing the right growth catalysts despite favorable oil prices. PDP governance had overstayed its welcome. The people were ready for change. And we must develop the strategic leadership and determination to achieve the change.

Standing as separate parties, we could not best the PDP. We had tried that path; it led to defeat in 2011. A strategic rethink was needed.

To attain the goal of ousting the PDP and placing Nigeria on the road to progressive governance, the strategic linchpin would be the merger of opposition parties.

Time is inadequate to recount the complex journey toward the merger. My firm position was that only a merger would work. Anything short of that would disintegrate due to a combination of PDP enticement and the internal pressures arising from the strong identification of many politicians with their legacy parties. An ad-hoc alliance would be put asunder by these factors.

‘’Our push for a merger of the old parties into a new entity carried the day. We would join hands to form a collective identity. The CPC and my party, ACN, ANPP a long with progressive elements of the APGA formed the party. Key elements of the PDP would later join.

‘’For this amalgamation to work, it had to be more than an anti-PDP gathering. It had to present a genuine, positive message that spoke to people’s hopes and aspirations.
We developed the theme of change as our strategic message. The broom became an apt party symbol. We would sweep out the old, sweep in the new and work hard towards prosperity for our country.

‘’We fashioned a tripartite campaign message and strategy message. Security, Economy and Corruption. We would drive these three messages home as if with military artillery. However, we have only our leadership and strategic hammer.

Buhari was the right candidate to beat PDP

‘’Still all of this would have been to no avail without the right candidate. Given his stature and reputation for integrity, honest dealing and patriotic commitment, there really was no other candidate to have carried the day, than then General Muhammadu Buhari.

‘’Yet, even with such a figure as our candidate, we foresaw the need to construct a public relations strategy to counter false accusations of religious intolerance and parochialism that would be hurled at him. We did this with great success because we prepared for these attacks beforehand…

‘’We did not win the election by accident. I had studied the resulting and voting patterns of all the prior elections since 1999. Our team did an honest assessment and detailed assessment of our strengths and weaknesses and those of our opponents.

How we won 2015 presidential poll

To win, we knew the votes we needed and identified the likely places and demographic constituencies from which the bulk of those votes must come. We did not waste time chasing votes we would not get. We concentrated on our strengths and the other side’s weaknesses, realising that our defence must be as tight as if we are inside the War College here in Abuja.

‘’The other factor is one that is little spoken of. Our early insistence on biometric voter registration and the use of the card reader on voting day were of strategic importance as it is essential to safeguarding the integrity of the electoral process. In past elections, PDP vote padding had been massive in certain areas. We had to curtail this malpractice to achieve the objective of making the election as fair as possible, allowing us a chance to win.

‘’The card reader minimized the rigger’s ability to steal the election. Before its use, results could be written without regard to the number of actual people who cast ballots.

In a polling booth where 50 people actually showed up to vote, the rigger could falsify figures and claim that 500 votes were cast. With the card reader, the rigger could steal no more than 50 votes. The tallies could not be inflated beyond the number of actual voters.

‘’Upon these strategic pillars, we built historic victory. For the first time in the nation’s history, incumbent president and party lost the national election. This historic transition further cemented our democratic evolving tradition and structures, advancing us closer to the overarching vision that guides my political actions.

Where we are going

‘’In relative short order, the Buhari administration has done what the prior government seem unable to do. With the courage and dedication of the military, Boko Haram has been subdued. Also, notable and significant progress is being made against corruption. Press freedoms and civil liberties are protected, putting to lie those who cried that President Buhari would not respect democracy and rule of law.’’

The thing about denial is that we don't see the punch till it hits us in the face. If this BS came from Bola Tinubu then I only have a proverb for him and it is this; our elders say "it is best to look for the black goat in the day and not in the night when u can't see it". Someone tell Timubu that the signs are there and the country has never being so divided now so far as before. Someone should tell him that the masses are now awake and from popular rating won't fall for the same mistake they did that saw Bubu become president. If Tinubu intends to still back Bubu, then he has an intense lobbying to do to get back the disenchanted people making up funny enof some core northerners, some die hard westerners, middlebelters, south southerners and the irritating 5%.
Unless he intends to rig the election again which will only make Nigeria implode cos any election that bring back Bubu rigged or not will only plunge the country into more hardship and spell disintegration.

Runs girls are on the rise every day. Some go in to it for greed, fun or even personal issues. Recession has now multiplied their numbers. The purpose of this thread is to help young, successful and handsome Nairalanders like myself to avoid these set of ladies.

Here are ten ways to spot runs girls.

1. They own expensive phones:

Runs girls always use expensive phones. The problem is not just that have an expensive phone but that even their job cannot explain the phone. Clearly, the phone is high above their pay. If you ask them, it's either they tell you they have been saving for it for five months. Or they will tell you how one of their faraway uncles sent it to them. We all know the uncles they are talking about. cheesy

2. Their phone is a business line:

They are always receiving phone calls. It is like their office and it helps them keep in touch with their numerous clients. Sometimes, they even beg you to be silent when they want to pick certain calls because they want a silent background. Don't be surprised if they lie about their location while on the call. If she receives ten calls, be rest assured eight are from men.

3. They usually wear heavy make-up:

To notice a runs girl is not so difficult, just look around for who always go heavy on make-up. The foundation on her face is so much that you can build a three storey building on it. She shaves off her eye brow and then draws a really long one. The colours of their eye shadow and eye liner rarely agree or it is in excess. I don’t know if runs girls just lose their sense of make-up due to their “profession”.

4. They upload seductive photos:

Whenever you check their online dp, it's either they are displaying their bo0bs or their ass. Their pose is often highlighting their sensual curves in one way or the other. They want whoever cares to know they have goods worth tasting. Some of them go as far as padding their buttocks so as to attract more prospective clients.

5. They use charms:

Most runs girls are fetish. they use a lot of charm. if you go close to them they will remote control your life till their is no more milk in you. a friend of mine Ibro fell into one of their traps in 2016. in the month of august, he earned roughly N3m online and like N2.5m went to one runs girl called Chidinma. she took his name to all the native doctors in their village and the final result was that he listens to no one but her. All through 2016 ibro worked very hard to earn but that devil reap it all. it took myself and his mom a lot of prayer before we were able to bring him back to normal.

6. They disappear mysteriously every Friday:

Weekend is their most busy schedule because they always have appointments to keep. If a runs girl promises to be with you on a Friday evening, be rest assured that you have entered one chance. She will definitely go missing like the 2016 national budget.

7. She is always on night shift:

If she always goes out every evening only to return the next morning and sleep all day, she is most likely a runs girl. The funny thing is while she tries to claim she is working, you will never hear her talk about the work. When you ask "how work?" The answer will always be in summary "Fine!" You too, what were you expecting her to say?

8. They always chew gum indecently:

I don't know if this is a universal trademark. When they start chewing gum, you will think someone is roasting corn around you. And they don't seem to care where they are when it comes to chewing gum. They just chew it and most often press their phones to go with it.

9. They are always rude:

If you cross their path, and by their assessment, they classify you as being below their grade, prepare your bullet proof. The last thing you want to do is argue with them because they will make sure they turn that spark in to a furnace. Your only luck is if you are loaded. That's where you will hear lines like: I'm naturally gentle" or "It's because it is you o". My brother, don’t be deceived. It’s not because of you but because of your money.

10: They have piercings and tattoos on their bodies:

Hardly will you come across a runs girl who has not added an extra hole to her body. The piercings could be on her nose or her ears or wherever. cheesy Some even go as far as making up to three or four piercings on their ears. Not only that, a couple of them also have tattoos on their bodies.
Bros tattoos and piercings have nothing with being or not being into runs
