By the law, it is okay if his finances show he can afford it. The amount to be paid is determined by the man's ability to provide. I have no personal decision or influence in this matter. The law is the law. If indeed Paul's wife proves Paul was unfaithful and proves his ability to provide the above then it is up to the law to determine if and what he should pay.

My advice - guys marry. However be very careful and investigate properly before you marry. Do not ignore red flags. I was lucky that my father stepped in and advised when I was about to ignore a red flag. May God continually bless him.
