People pushing ethnic angles are an embarrassment. Hail that he is our rep. I remember watching him. Very influential fellow. Hope this attracts more Nigerian Americans to play for the Tigers and Tigress'. |
Better go study how Obama utilised social media to become President. The VP is not correct in his statements. |
baralatie:Need to read my post better. Didn't pin death on her. Also if there is a do not disturb sign on the door, the housekeeper will not come in. Perhaps the man has in the past said they should only come after he has left. I rest my comments and pray the police properly investigate. |
baralatie:As I said there are a lot of questions Was the withdrawal before or after his death? 5 million is not by ATM but by bank transfer or cheque. Assuming that it was after his death, how did the lady get access to his details to execute the transfer? Too many questions for me. I don't have access to the information. It is just that I have a gut feeling that there are many white spaces in this investigation. I wish the police well and comfort to the man's loved ones. |
baralatie:You can find records. Yes but that is if the record keeper truly has knowledge of these things and hasn't been corrupted. The clear thing for me here is motive. I haven't seen the motive. I will keep an eye on this case out of interest. I expect some other information to drop soon. |
baralatie:No security is infallible especially in this nation. In my opinion, the entire findings from this case seems too quick. |
This man sounds like a controlling person. Youths are adults and can make decisions for themselves. I am sure he too is against TV and Radio as it is distracting. Or what of the kids who love reading so much or playing sports to much that it prevents them from making headway in life. Stay in your lane, Pastor. |
baralatie:You mean the security didn't observe anyone? That is different from there is no one. What if the security was absent from their post or absent minded. Did the Police even identify the time of death? |
doncollino:This is very untrue. Very untrue. What is the source of this statement? |
Reading through this, I suspect the wife. There is no identified motive for the side chick to kill the man. That would be slaying the hen laying the golden egg even if stingy. The wife has a stronger motive for seeing the husband dead than the side chick. I have my suspicions and pray that the Police were not biased in their investigations. They need to really check who wanted this man to die. Note; before the emotional online peeps start shouting about his unfaithfulness. Yes he cheated. I am talking about his murder not his stupidity. |
Grace001:How is he regulating social media? Talk is easier than action. Can he reach into the darkweb? |
Does this man think? You will punish Twitter for negative words said about Nigeria? Ok who judges that the words are negative? Other countries have rights to free speech - you want Twitter to restrict the rights of those citizens to free speech and thus violate those nation's laws? Where do you draw the cyber boundaries? Is it tweets made in Nigeria? What is Nigeria's boundary in cyberspace? There are so many questions and clarifications regarding the technical and political execution of this. This move he is making - there is a reason democracies are careful about pushing it. As long as Nigeria seeks to be a democracy, this move should not be on its list. The government's stance should be that they will notify Twitter of any offensive tweets. Unfortunately the government also has people in it who make offensive tweets e.g. Pantami, Buhari etc. |
Lol. Erectile dysfunction eh. Well I do 3-10 minutes (might be a couple of rounds) and I am done depending on mood. Happens to most men. Don't let porn films and other sources disturb your mind too much. Also second round is always longer than first round. Use that how you will. |
This thread is proof of the innate stubbornness to learn. Igbo vs. Yoruba - who benefits from this conflict? Igbo? Yoruba? The future? None of them Better to unite and ignore the attempts of political, myopic and bigoted sponsored charlatans who seek to drive a wedge so as to aid an agenda that benefits no one not even the ones posting. Nigeria is one whether some like it or not. |
Abascoh:This above post is silly on so many levels. Of course those who already think this way will support and like. People like the poster above seek to divide and conquer by making it appear that Nigeria's problem is based on ethnic group. Ignore them else the mistakes and disasters of yesteryears will be repeated. Nigeria can only improve if we all put our hands together. |
They should just stop talking. I don't know who they are fooling. They should just stop. Boko Haran started way back before Twitter became popular in Nigeria. The more these ones talk - the more idiotic the excuses sound. |
Some things I have seen First class graduates who expect to be treated like King Solomon when they start work. Nah that ethic that helped you to get the first class is what we are looking for. If you like come in and don't keep working hard - bye bye. First class graduates shocked that a 2.2 is rated as having more potential than them. Of course work is not school. Look at football. Go and look at the best u-17 footballers. Very few of them are at the top. People improve in life. Different races, different paths. Those that play football manager - how often has youth intake come in and you misjudge your number one talent. People deciding that first class is not good. It is good. It is an achievement in life. It is something you can look back and tell your kids. |
Hmm I understand what he is saying. I can't fault his argument. |
obembet:You mean like when Chelsea stole Frank Arnesen from Spurs then even tried to steal their pitch guy? There is a reason why Spurs and Chelsea don't do business anymore. Those attempts by Roman put paid to any transfer dealings. Now it is Chelsea selling their dregs to Arsenal. |
Lonelypacifist6:I did and I am projecting based on your post. I would like to see the idiot that would sue her. No one who is sensible would sue Naomi Osaka. https://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/57310701 |
owobokiri:Shebi Shell go soon leave onshore for una. See person mouth as make Shell go fix the place back. Better drop money - your government has failed in security. It is more likely that Shell abandons the facility or sells it rather than fixing it if you don't drop money. Nowadays global companies have multiple markets to invest in. The ROI on fixing this place better be attractive. |
bigpicture001:Very false. There are players who have supported her e.g. Alex Zverev. I suggest you watch the below video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E316m_wjNak The media has showcased those who don't. |
unmask:I suspect people insulting her are one of the following; Serena fans, Americans, Australians, people who don't like to appear weak or vulnerable, people with no clue about mental health likely because they have been abused. Our society doesn't value mental wellbeing as much as money. Some can't imagine throwing away money because of one's health. |
Lonelypacifist6:Mental health is a fickle emotion. Chei. I pray that either you or your loved ones never have mental health issues. |
Najdorf:Naomi Osaka is black. Her complexion is a pointer. Her father is from Haiti. Hmm maybe that explains some behaviours and reactions from people. To help people with the term of introvert. The definition in psychology is below. I am an introvert. People who are introverted tend to be inward turning, or focused more on internal thoughts, feelings and moods rather than seeking out external stimulation. |
Kiddogarcia:Played the victim? Lol. You think the Grand Slam hasn't lost out. At times it is better to put yourself in someone's shoes. There is no weakness in it. Lady has been depressed and mentioned that media conferences affect her mental health. You are suggesting she is playing the victim. Go watch the US Open crowd after she beat Serena in the final. It was after that match I finally lost all respect for Serena. I remember when Serena played Steffi Graf. Steffi was gracious during the game. Serena pah. On Sir Alex, It wasn't only BBC. Dude used to refuse to take conferences. Apart from the one below, there was another one I recall after playing Real Madrid. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/m/man_utd/9416432.stm |
Fiscus105:Really? Football? Sir Alex Ferguson refused to talk to the media. Did they ban him? Did they threaten him? No. The Premier League accepted it. Guess who has more money? The PL or WTA? Better go study well. I stand with Osaka on this. |
madridsta007:Oh I will miss her. Some people are crying and cursing her. Better pick up tennis racket and go challenge her. Let her use you to teach people lesson. Respect her talent. She has every right to use it as she wishes including ensuring that she doesnt die before her time. |
villagejournal:The only nonsense here is you. You think the money is for free. Why not go join and get the money. One of the WTA's best players has announced she is suffering from mental health issues and depression and people like you who can only see money are talking like this. Girl will use you to wipe floor |
Good girl. Strategically place it back on them. Oya Grand Slam - knowing your egos - how can a black woman who you made famous withdraw? Idiots. Go girl. I had lost interest in WTA but I will definitely keep a tab on you. |
Watch as the oyinbo try to crush her especially the French. |
