Give that girl a medal. Spend money on your mother, sister or siblings not your girl friends. Nigerian "boys" think they can buy love and affection. |

barbwire2: I got over that and warned her that the next time she repeats same I would post her nudes online and tell the world both on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter anx and even here on nairaland. But she assured me she had changed. This will be a stupid thing to do. Do you know that it is a criminal offence to post someones nude pictures online without permission? If you don't like her behavior, move on and let her be. |

Normal me would ignore the text and wait for her to come up with flimsy excuses before I flay her, but am scared she would have time to cook-up a coverup story if I don't point it out that I SEE HER. whats ur opinion guys. sorry for the lenghty write and typos tho These chewing gum boys of nowadays sef. Very jealous set of people. What is wrong the sms? There is nothing there to suggest she's cheating. And 2 weeks?she probably doesn't fancy you after all. If you are not interested why not move on and let her be? |

Burchester: Seriously shortlisting starts next month while NNPC Recruitment is know to takes years It is usually faster and fairer when it's done in house than when consultants are used. This, I believe will be completed this year. |

Umarlulu: we’re arguing with a friend said that connection do work in such job hunting we Said it’s a lie for this kind job it’s just base on merit. What is merit? Merit means you meet the minimum requirement. You are then shortlisted and write the test (here your performance matters - merit, and you are competing against people from your state not the country -still merit). You then go for the interview and depending on your situation (Personality, performance on the day, certificates and I dare say background because this is where a lot of the children of the poor who are good are considered for the job - I knew I had the job during the interview because the interviewer asked me one final question and said if I got it right I would get it and I did - no connection). Connection can only help if you meet the minimum requirements, if you don't, there are people within the system who will protest especially if their own wards failed to scale through and then the unions members also have their own wards. The system has it's own checks (though not perfect) so the best thing is to be as fair as possible to avoid such controversies. Wish you the best. |

Umarlulu: how reliable is your source?if someone is having long leg/connection how will it be of help? Long leg will only help if you get a foot in the door meet the minimum requirement after which you will then compete with other Nigerians (long legged and short legged). |

asuustrike1: They will definitely catch up because they are already exposed. The teacher employs different methods to teach the pupil. Secondly many working class parents prefer they live their kids in creche instead of hiring nanny. Many suggested this method to schools hence different schools adopted it You still haven't answered my question - catch up with who or what? My child goes to a nursery (crèche) and has carers. No academic activities take place, but there are activities to keep them busy. |

asuustrike1: Many creche still teach their pupils the basics of education. By the time the child is 3 years he or she would catch up. Catch up with who or what? If they will catch up why teach them at that age? Why not let them grow up? |
Education › Re: Teacher Flogs 1-Year-Old Boy In Lagos by dustydee: 11:08pm On Mar 15, 2019 |
asuustrike1: That child should be in creche. Do you expect a busy parent to leave their child with a nanny? But you have carers in creches not teachers. |

fatima04: Response to your questions 1. Its advisable you dont exceed 3months in a 1 year cycle as that year wont be recorded against ILR if you are on a Tier Visa. On the other hand, the visa is attached to an employer, doubt you can get any days outside the usual annual leave.
N.B- for future ILR application, you would need a letter from your employer approving such absence from the UK.
2. Doubt you can continue staying in the UK legally once your current Tier 2 expires (unless you are due for ILR). Either you get another sponsor or stay with the current sponsor and extend your stay before your current leave expires 180 days except the year you apply for ILR which you should not be out for more than 90 days. |

PierreAbutu: Oga, d network is stalled, and the APPLY BUTTON on the site is not functioning
Who ks deceiving who here? You have 6 weeks to apply. You should also note that there are thousands of people who want to apply just like you. I will suggest that you try it at night when traffic is likely to be less. Also do not wait till the last week as many people will also try to beat the deadline. Also make sure your scanned copies are clear and legible. I have seen some people who were not shortlisted beacuase some of their documents were not legible and the reviewer couldn't be bothered to go the extra mile to make out what the document contained as there were thousands of other documents to review. Good luck. |

SixSigma1: You are most welcome @salford1. You made a lot of valid points in your post as to why it is not encouraged to accept the counter offer from her current employer. There are also other valid points beyond those that you listed as to why counter offers should not be accepted but we do not need to go into those right now. I am very pleased to know that she is going with the new employer. Going with the new employers is the smart thing to do in this case. Good luck to her . Please kindly share so we can all learn. A friend recently accepted a counter offer and a promise of promotion and shortly after the environment became passively hostile. The promotion did not come at the end of the year as promised. The person was lucky to get another offer soon after and left. |

It's a debit card, that lets you use your credit cards for fee-free cash withdrawal (£200/day) this is what I used, you can google it for more details. Cheers. Kai! this guy, the way you are gaming the system eh. I need to take out time to understand these things and find a way around them. |
