Firefire: Nigeria under Buhary is drifting into anarchy.
Where is the balance of power ?
He appointed a Northerner as head of DSS and to other sensitive position. (I am not bothered)
And now appointing a Northerner to head INEC.
Let someone tell Buhary that this is 2015 and it is not acceptable. Blame it on the council of state that approved his nomination. If the guys deemed it fit to approve his nomination then you can't blame PMB. I would have preferred a southerner given that a northerner just vacated the office but if he's fit for the job then no worries. |

ziccoit: 1. By paying the religion leaders that means the government would be able to regulate his activity. A Pastor/Imam can not just wake up from wrong side of his bed preaching hate message. The message would have to be channeled through some recognized body who are going to vet it and release it to the public.
2. There is no crime in making religion study compulsory at primary and secondary level of education. By having knowledge of dos and donts of my Neighbour religion would ensure harmony, peaceful coexistence and mutual respect.
3. Yes. Free range method of rearing is the course of communal clashes between the cattle farmers and their host community.
4. BH doesn't represent Islam.
So, it depends on how you view what he said. I believe he makes sense. What about atheists? And are they going to get teachers for all religions? |

Dont tell me he didnt read all of them on the frontpage of newspaper then..... Association of Liars I never read or heard APC claim Buhari borrowed money to buy form or that he will make the naira equal to the dollar. Most of these were interpretations of newspapers. |

What of this? makzeze: Farooq kperogi wrote:
1. “My names are.” I was told that several senators (or is it ministerial nominees; forgive me because I didn’t watch the whole live or recorded broadcast) introduced themselves by saying “my names are….” Well, as I have written in several articles, that’s illiterate English. The conventional expression is “my name is” irrespective of the number of names of you have. As I wrote before, as recently as three weeks ago, contemporary native English speakers don’t introduce themselves by saying “my names are.” “Name” is a single unit and refers both to one’s first name alone and to one’s first, (middle), and last names combined. So the socially normative and grammatically acceptable way to introduce yourself is to either say “My name is Aliyu” or “My name is Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko .” The fact of the addition of “Magatakarda” and “Wamakko” to “Aliyu” doesn’t require that you to pluralize “name” to “names” to have “My names are Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko.”

Politics › Re: Buhari: President And Assets Declaration Fraud" - By Chinedu Nwobu (Daily Times) by dustydee: 10:32am On Oct 19, 2015 |
Nnemuka: During the presidential campaign, Buhari had said barely had one million naira was in his account and had to borrow money from his bank to buy the presidential nomination form. Few months later, we learn there is close to N30 million in his account, Buhari had also said he owned only two houses, one in his hometown of Daura and another in Kaduna. His landlord had reportedly kicked him out of an apartment in Abuja because he could not afford to pay the rent. Now we learn that Buhari has five houses including one in Abuja of all places. When these are added to the acres of land in Port Harcourt that was previously not disclosed, the humongous shares in three banks that were also never disclosed and the number of cows that have jumped from 150 before the campaign to 270 and his inability to tell us how many vehicles he actually owns because they are too many, you get the full picture of a deceptive 419 President.
While Buhari has tried to deceptively push his cash stock of 30 million in our face, his total assets when his property in Abuja, acres of land in Port Harcourt, 270 cows and millions of shares in banks are factored in are possibly more than N1billion. This does not include other possibly hidden or diverted assets we might never know of, including those in the name of his wife, relations, in-laws and siblings. Essentially, Buhari is a manipulative smooth operator.
– Daily Times
http://dailytimes.com.ng/buhari-president-assets-declaration-fraud/ Buhari never said that but the newspapers. There are a lot of things that Buhari never said that were credited to him and one of such is that he borrowed money to buy his nomination form. Another is that he'd make the dollar equal to the naira. I keep telling people do not believe everything you read on the pages of a newspaper. |

Please between COMPUTER ENGINEERING AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING which One Has more career opportunities especially here's in Nigeria. I would have said it depends on which one you like and what you make of it but since you included "here in Nigeria" I'd say communications engineering. Please note that you can be a computer engineer and work as a communications engineer as well as the skills are transferable between both courses. Choose the one you are more comfortable with and passionate about but any should be fine. |

Aguiyi noted that Mrs. Alison-Madueke single-handedly championed the PIB, which was designed to make NNPC more responsive and accountable, but eventually the passage of the bill was frustrated by both domestic and external forces, some of whom today are after the former minister. The PIB was not Dieziani's brain child but was introduced by Obasanjo. And if Mr. Aguiyi listened to Mr Kachichukwu he would have heard him say that the bill as it is is not in the best interest of Nigeria and instead should be broken down and passed into law separately while excluding some sections especially those that have to do with fiscal regimes. |
