GoroTango:Don't mind them. The same case with Tambuwal. People down south thought just because as speaker that challenged GEJ that he was some kind of big deal. They don't know that Senator is his godfather and he can't anything without his go ahead. The only reason they keep mentioning Dankwanbo is simply because he was the only PDP candidate to defeat APC squarely in the north. They assume he wields some kind of special follwership. Unknown to them Dankwanbo won simply because of the dire unpopularity of his opponent flying the APC flag. Dankwambo like Tambuwal are babies in northern politics. Same with so called former Senate President David Mark. |
I will never forget PMB (abi Jubril) if nobody is hanged for this! |
DeRay98:Stop being politically naive. The zoning was simply between North and south. OK going by your logic, there wasn't even an Igbo man in the so called arrangement since 1999. It was Yoruba (OBJ) and Fulani (Atiku) ,then Fulani (Yaradua), and I jaw (GEJ) and finally Ijaw and Hausa (Sambo). So in you logic it means the zoning was designed to rotate between Yoruba and Fulani? It's evident no Hausa or Igbo was chosen. And since you refused to acknowledge Ijaw as VP it means Z hausa too shouldn't be in person of Sambo. As I said the zoning was between North and south period! |
Maduawuchukwu:I believe with loss of allocation from federal government sourced from oil producing areas, other regions would have to exploit what they have including taxing non-indegines. For example the main benefit for Kano state in Nigeria is oil money, that of Anambra is vast market for her citizens to exploit. So definitely there's gonna be indigene-settler dichotomy just like in the first republic. If citizens can be deported today from one state to another despite its illegality, what more for a restructured Nigeria with autonomous regional governments. |
LordAdam16:Thanks Lord for your contribution. The property isn't even rented. It's a six bedroom flat with 2 Bqs. Less than 10 people live on the property. The only thing is the location and the size of the land, about 2000sqm. |
eyeview:APC Ehn? Hnmm well in 2019 it's gonna be different. No more solidarity for APC candidates just because they belong to PMB's party. |
frankdGreat125:There you go.

I quite agree with them, on a scale from 1 to 10 I'd rate him 5. |
But the property was built more than 20years ago, also you can't compare living in Kano with living in Lagos. Modified Thanks to those that pointed out the rent was backdated. However, we discussed this issue last night with the owner of the house and he was sure he has been paying the so called house tax up till last year. He even recalled an incidence that his papers got misplaced in their office for months. Another thin is that no house has less than 200k as tax due on our street which makes it look like the whole thing is planned. Only those living in Kano would know this current administration's desperation to tax citizens. Last year they tried erecting a toll gate on a federal government road entering Kano. It has to be stopped via legal means. As I said earlier, no one is gonna pay this tying! |
As a patriotic citizen I am totally in support of appropriate taxation of people to bring about the much needed development in our country. Especially as state governments are encouraged to source for revenue from within instead of the dysfunctional cap-in-hand survival on funds from Abuja. We are al proud of Kano, Kaduna, Ogun, Rivers and the likes, states that generate about a quarter of their annual allocation. Although it seemed very meager, but with diligence and proper measures the IGR can be boosted to 100% within a decade. However I was shocked to see the property tax brought to my uncle. 206,000 !!! The most baffling part of it is that no one could explain how they arrived at the figures. Not even the people distributing the notices. Honestly I don't think KNSG can generate anything tangible from this tax, because most people won't pay. Hajiya Nafeesah any explanation for this.

But I like that 508 design. |
Yes it is.
But it's fraudulent act, I hope you are not contemplating doing it. |
Jazakumullahu bi khair! |
Bolustical:Lol! here we go again with blaming the so called core-north in an attempt to label them "born to rule". When did NW leaders ever undermine northerners from other parts? Was it Sardauna that relinquished his position so that Tafawa Balewa from NE could be the prime minister? Or Gowon from NC selected by northern militia coupists? Even Buhari's Coup was against his fellow Fulani NW kinsman? Majority of leaders from north are from the middlebelt belt, yet the core-north is blamed for "marginalizing" the rest of the north. Simply because they don't have the news media to be shouting marginalization up and down. Finally a Hausaman from Kano isn't bothered if a Nupeman from Niger is the president, likewise an Beira from Kogi if a Kanuri from Borno is. The state PMB had the highest vote percentile was outside his so called native NW region. |
Whizzcute:Don't mind these bloggers, the car isn't up to N100m. And Runtown might have gotten a used one for less than half the price. |
banmee:You! Have you seen it up close? See me see wahala o! By seeing a picture one should be able to kike something or otherwise. The only thing this Camrys boasts of is as explained in the article IMPROVED SAAFETY Ratings! But the design is very poor. Am sure it's gonna sit close to the bottom in the 2018 mid-range price luxury sedan category. The Honda Accord has been trashing Camrys for years, and with this model as well, it's simply another miss. This design can't even compete with 2013 Honda Accord imo. |
Bello in Nigeria is a 100% Fulani name by origin. It got into other tribes (Especially Yoruba) during Dan Fodios Jihad. |
Me waiting...

eagleeye2:That's because no one has killed a police officer and burned down a police station yet. |
SalamRushdie:LOL! Politics (like religion) is a personal choice. Everyone is entitled to his/her own. Thanks for the compliment. |
jamex93:God bless it's 419, most probably Nigerians. Three of my friends got the same thing. two of them even sent 20k and 15k for local courier claiming that the package has arrived Abuja. |
I don't believe the Mods bring this unverified blatant lie to fp! I have seen THREE exact situations where people were duped by a very similar pictures of Mac book and an Ipad. At the end they'd ask you to pay for local courier service to deliver it to you. It's an elaborate scam, and am sure the dude never received those items. May be she promised him and sent that fake receipt then he started celebrating. Rubbish! |
Incrizz:Not in between the bottles, I mean inside. It's mentioned in the article the bottles are filled with sand. also see that boy filling one using a stick to compact the sand. It wouldn't be economically wise if the bottles are filled with concrete. cc nairanaira12 |

Wow it looks well established too. Having done some recycling projects (in theory) I believe it's a genius idea giving that the plastic takes about 2000 years to decay. However, I think they should protect it against direct sunlight by means of coating. Otherwise sun can damage the bottle within weeks and with rain the sand can be washed off leading to collapse. *Modified As an engineer I know about methods and research to find alternative building materials. One of the most popular is actually using Styrofoam inside concrete to reduce both cost and weight of structures. Styrofoam and plastic bottles are basically from the origin; non-boidegradable cheap organic products. And the fact that the bottles are already used makes them even cheaper. You get them basically free and get kids (as seen in the pic to fill them up with simple sand). It will like N6 per filled bottle. Six bottles can be equal to a 9inch Block. This simply you cut cost of blocks from around N150 to N36! This is to all those claiming it's gonna be more expensive or stressful. As I mentioned, my concern is the bottles exposed to sunlight outside. weathering can destroy the bottles in no time if not covered. The building will cool though especially in hot climates like Northern Nigeria.

Fayose desperately angling for that VP slot. He figured if he could make so much noise now that he is still a governor, (he can't do all these once he leaves office in 2018). Hopefully he'd be reckoned with when choosing a VP to a northern candidate. Goodluck to him. But I believe they are violating electoral guidelines by campaigning this early. |
SIRmanjar:Lol! It's genetic thing. Fulanis are nomadic, more than 5000 years of roaming continents mostly on foot grazing there cattle can make a people evolve in to tall lanky and more agile trekking machines. That's the biology aspect of it. A genuine Fulani man/woman can't be fat, short or ebony black. |
Amazing article. |
Reference:Lol! You not gonna believe but I actually dozed off after writing that comment. So it is boring after all! |
I thought everyone that said that was an Afonjaaa. |
This talk on the so called "restructuring" is getting boring and lacking in tact and direction like the IPOB struggle. If you want something sit down and arrange it, find a way to do so and set the ball rolling. Someone will be calling for 2014 Confab recommendations, among which is create new stares to make them 50. Confusion everywhere, but instead they like to blackmail the north as the scape goat. |

if it is boring it should cause you to doze off not keep awake typing epistles. Like those who spend every waking minute talking about Ipob, secession and Kanu yet called it, them inconsequential.... I just can't put the two scenarios together. But we can understand the 'bold face' as we say.
