Foreign AffairsRe: Trump Announces 'historic Peace Agreement' Between Israel, UAE by Efewestern:

crap. Iran was still covertly violating IAEA regulations with the deal in place. That's the major issue that lead to scrapping of that deal. Talk about all the embarrassment under Obama when America was outed for tapping the calls from many world leaders. Which country doesn't want to tap others?
So, has anything changed since the deal was scrapped? Has Iran in any way slow down on its activities? or will She ever give up her programs or bend to Trump's wishes?

Covertly violating IAEA regulations? Iran's nuclear program was being monitored on a regular basis, every one aside US agreed that Iran was complying, if you think this was all about IAEA regulations, then you have a limited knowledge when it comes to issues involving the middle East.

Obama deal wasn't perfect, but it was the best and it'd eased tension in the region, Sanctions and all that are useless to Iran because they have faced a far more deadlier sanctions than this and they didn't bow, even if Trump wanted to make modifications to the deal, he would have done that while the deal was on.

It's been years since he opted out of the deal, Iran hasn't changed behavior, infact they are testing new missiles, has increased enrichment of Uranium, their recent Satellite Launch revealed gains in Missile Program with experts saying they are using space launches to develop Long-Range Missiles.

So tell me again, what has changed?

I call your response bull. Fvcking ISIS has only about 2000 members now in the middle East. That's the real deal.
That's not the effort of the US alone, ISIS is being hit by Russia, Iran, Iran's backed militias, Iraq, Syrian government etc.

Even Trump acknowledged the efforts of these countries on the fight against terrorism.
Foreign AffairsRe: Trump Announces 'historic Peace Agreement' Between Israel, UAE by Efewestern:

He kept Iran at bay, Iran's nuclear program has been frustrated significantly without any war breaking out. Would you prefer the US at war with Iran right now? or any other middle east country? Obama foolishly agreed to Iran Nuke deals which threatened the peace of the region, and Trump Stylishly frustrated it. On Taliban, it remains to be seen whether they will keep to the terms of the agreement but so far they have and I insist that it is a plus having that agreement. Say what you will about Trump but his foreign policies so far have resulted in more peace process than his predecessor.
Iran is still enriching uranium, infact they doubled enrichment some months back, their nuclear plants are still active, so where do you get the news that their nuclear program is been frustrated?

Existing the nuclear deal hasn't changed anything if you want to be sincere with your self, things are still pretty the same, at the end of the day, everyone will have a deal similar to the one Obama drafted because Iran would never give up her missile program neither are they going to stop enrichment or end supports for militias which is what Trump is demanding.

As for the Talibans, what's the essence of agreements if a party doesn't honor? like I have said earlier, the middle East still looks thesame, the peace process is only visible to some of you.
Foreign AffairsRe: Trump Announces 'historic Peace Agreement' Between Israel, UAE by Efewestern:
Ovie56:
He has managed the middle east politics quite well, contained Iran's threat with appropriate force, it wasn't too much and not too small, just enough to keep them at bay. No war broke out. The Taliban agreement is also a plus.
Managed middle east politics very well? looking at the region, nothing much has changed, the middle east is one complex region to deal with.

You can't keep a country like Iran at bay with the mullahs still ruling, Iran still remains a threat to America's interests in the region, the sanctions and all that aren't working considering the fact that Iran has witnessed a far more stricter sanctions than the one they are currently experiencing, plus they still test new missiles and have militias spread across the region.

We cant conclude on the Taliban, these guys have issues keeping to agreements. Like I have said, the middle east is one complex region, you solve one, two more issues pop out.

Na only God go feet solve their matter.

The message should be targeted at the poor!!!!
No sir, just because someone is wealthy today doesn't mean he should give birth to tens of kids, things might turn around, not necessarily from 100 to 0, but he might loose a significant part of his income/investment, when that happens, do you still think he can maintain the many kids he gave birth to during his hey days?

birth control should be a message to all!

The points raised by the original poster are somewhat unimpeachable , a man is better of planning a sustainable future , but life can happen to a man and someone who doesn't know better might suggest he hadn't a plan, I use myself as an example ,before I decided to get married , i had at least 50m in raw cash and probably worth about 80m in assets and cash summed together , I had two cars (2010 spiders and lexus rx350) and a very comfortable apartment wit a plan to commence my home project after marriage , of course everything looked set for a very comfortable sustainable future and the ever ambitious guy that I am I married a woman who brought serious value to the prospect, fastforward to 2 years after marriage throw in series of investments that went very bad and a couple of not very informed financial decisions and everything is gone, I just laugh when I think of it all ,these days I look at the price tag of goods lol!! Again a man is better of having a plan for his future but life is just bleeped up and one never knows it all ,some.may counter argue that I made bad decisions as result responsible for the unfortunate turn of events but you never know it all and there is such a thing as good luck, yeah I said it cuz I know people who lived life carefree and continue to beat the odds with opportunities after opportunities , not everyone has this luxury , there is no one true path to a successful life , just millions of paths unique to everyone else, when a man sits and has the opinion he has it all figured out and can now talk authoritatively on very sensitive subject bothering on life , it's almost as if fate decides to take a bet against such a man and fate wins always .you could be rich and comfortable with investments and all and one government policy diminishes your wealth or wipes u out , and you could wind up like the guy living in the uncompleted building, would it then be fair to accuse you of not having planned your life ? Sometimes some of us young guys , when we start making a lot of progress ,it brings some kind of faux
wisdom , you got it all figured out ,you Marry a lady who got it all figured out and you both make decent money and lifes good , then you tell your wife honey! We got this let's not have kids for 3 years let's save up and grow wealth etc cuz you both are educated and have everything figured out and then when you do want the kids , just maybe, fate decides to give you general picking , no kids and sex becomes a job that gives you blisters on your member , or you have a kid and it wont breath or some weird birth complication science ain't have name for.yet and u spend /liquidate half or all of your savings/assets to save the kids life cuz then wealth wont matter, you just wanna see your child survive and u wind up broke and then you become a philosopher asking rhetorical questions to your POP roofing .Sooner or later everyone grows older lonely and in need of companionship , I used to "life coach" too wear business suits and tell people how to be successful and how not to live their lives and I realise I do not have all the answers for the folks discounting the presence of God in the affairs of men I can only say a big sorry as you may find truth indeed when it has become too late , who decided blood must be red? Ad most flow through veins in a humans body, Science can explain how but science cannot explain why , why did it have to be blood and why did it have to be composed of cells that turn red when in contact with oxygen, why not mercury or HCL these are mystries some of us attribute to the workings of a supreme being and science respects this , all of us young men who are doing fine must become humble and stop talking in finality about human affairs, you dont want to take a bet against fate, paddle your canoe quietly and help a brother whenever and wherever you can and keep your mouth shut , when u are 50 or 60 and have beat the odds of life then you can speak to younger folks and not be deemed arrogant ,,,,,,, I don talk my own
When those who have experienced life talk, I know, Bless for this sir.

Most people think because they are financially stable, then they have life figured, life can be funny, and in a twinkle of an eye, everything can turn in favour or against you.

I understand some points the OP raised, like we should limit the rate we give birth to uncountable kids, but that shouldn't be directed to poor people alone.

Let me tell you, his brother's wife invited her sisters to torment him. If he's wise he'd ignore them and stay on his lane.
Not everyone can tolerate abuses, I myself won't take such from anyone. He should lower his expectations, like getting a self-contain, that will be a financial burden, he should get a single room apartment, he can save for that since he said his brother do give him some tips.

If he continues to stay in that house, these women might frame him for something he didn't do, and believe me, his brother won't do anything but to send him to the village.

Thanks ma I agree with you, I think the reason why his wife carry his sisters to the house is because she wanted me out that is why they had been treating me bad so I can leave the house for them
You mustn't rent a Self-contain, you can raise money for a single apartment, rent one and move out, you elder brother appears too weak to be a man, he even finds it difficult to correct his wife's sisters.

Make him understand you need your space to function properly.

Governor Simon Bako Lalong of Plateau State has said over 70 percent of the certificates of occupancy he signed since he assumed office belong to the Igbo community.

Signed during his Tenure, not 70% of total C of O, two different things, Jos is a cosmopolitan city, very very unlikely for a single group to own 70% of total C of O.

Yes, not only Ajegunle, they occupied several parts of eastern Yoruba territory, like Ikale and Ilesha.

I created a thread about the Urhobo migration to Ikale, that was during the palm oil boom, the Urhobos ran the industry, took raw produce to Lagos for exports, reason you could find several generations of Deltans in those parts.

I dont know about the ife Claim oh Oniovo, infact av never heard of or seen the ooni of ife past and present in the orodje's palace before. i think the relationship should be between ife and the olu of itsekiri, because the former oba benin was more or less like a spiritual father to the late orodje of okpe. Doesn't mean that the orodje is mandated to receive directives from the oba though, its just a spiritual hierachy. i do not know of the relationship between the new oba of benin and the present orodje though.
The Okpes believed they migrated from Ife, passed through Bini before reaching their destination in Delta State. I believe the claim is faulty because till date we still are unable to dig any proof to support that.

Lol.. okpe still get some kind words wey align reach now sef like
Osunobugwe Okpe= Osonobwawe Edo

Whenever Any orodje of okpe passes on, the tradition has it that they must inform the Oba of benin. Infact na Oba Of Benin dey coronate any new Orodje Of Okpe... And there are some strategic decisions the orodje of okpe may want to take that he'd need to consult the oba of benin. like there was a time when the former orodje wife flirted around and when she was wearing her royal bead she collapsed. it was the Oba of benin that told the orodje of okpe to divorce her when he insisted on keeping her.

I'm pretty sure the former oba of benin would have a first hand knowledge about okpes
@Bolded, you sure about this? You see why I will always have issh with some Okpe historians regarding their Ife migration claim?

Its good you posted this thread during time of our festive month. You didn't add that the "Ema" dance is only for Royalties only. When a king is to be coronated, when the king gives titles and when the king perform his yearly festive rituals to his predecessors (spirits of kings) so on these days kings dances EMA together with his princes and princesses and his Chiefs. No commoner dances EMA dance if a commoner dances it the spirits dances it with the commoner and that will make the commoner dance into land of the dead but royalties dance it together with the great spirits except for entertainment after necessary rituals to Spirits of Kings Mind u nobody can dance EMA dance with their cap on the head except the dance is outside the palace. I invite y'all for our festival this month.
Thanks for your contributions Oniovo.

I added that the Ema dance was made for special occasions such as when a king is coronated or when a chieftancy title is being given.

The dance is a very powerful dance, sometimes I'd wonder how these guys manage to dance this energetic dance for hours. Indeed the Spirits of our forebears are with them.

The Ema dance is a powerful dance by the Urhobo people that involves moving the entire body especially the hands and legs.

The dance is one featured on special occasions such as when a king is being crowned or when a man gets a chieftaincy title or during a festive day.

The Dance is unique to the Urhobo people.
