I've been wondering.....most women have this NO SEX ON FIRST DATE motto like it's the only criterion to ascertaining feminine decency. They say it gives the guy the impression that you're too cheap and he would definitely dump you easy.

But to me, it's not true. You can play the hard-to-get for a year and still get jilted. So, ladies, allow your mood determine for you. If you have to bang that guy, bang him! And who knows, it might result to true love and marriage.

Or what do you think, guys? wink
Every guy a lady sleeps with that doesn't turn out to be her husband is a reason for marital failure...so if in a bid to heed this dumb advice she ends up sleeping with 10 guys before she meets the unfortunate guy who eventually marries her, she would have had 10 possible avenues for her marriage to be destroyed because EXs are never in the past they are an integral component of a person's life. I can guess that 80% of ladies who are guilty of paternity fraud has several EXs. The guy involved in the paternity fraud does not have to be an EX but having several EXs cheapens and desecrates sex such that such a lady can easily spread her legs for anyone other her husband...

I am in an argument with someone concerning this scenario and I need your input.

Please imagine this scenario:
Mr Salami receives a gift of 300,000 naira every month and he was advised by his benefactor to start a business. The benefactor monitors his business progress, advices him, criticizes him and tries to steer him in the direction of business success. Now this is the question. If an employer were to offer Mr. Salami a job how much must the employer pay Mr. Salami to entice him to stop collecting the 300,000 gift from the benefactor, abandon the business and take up the job? Note that this is based on the condition that Mr. Salami cannot keep collecting the gift from the benefactor and working a job at the same time.

Christianity Etc › Re: Yasir Qadhi: Who Did God Ask Abraham To Sacrifice? Isaac Not Ishmael by efficiencie(m): 3:57pm On Apr 25, 2021
AntiChristian:
It is proven from the Qu'ran and Sunnah that it was Isma'eel and not Ishaq that Ibraheem wanted to sacrifice.

Praise be to Allah.

Allaah says of His slave and Close Friend (Khaleel) Ibraaheem (peace be upon him) (interpretation of the meaning):

And he said (after his rescue from the fire): “Verily, I am going to my Lord. He will guide me!”

“My Lord! Grant me (offspring) from the righteous.”

So We gave him the glad tidings of a forbearing boy.

And, when he (his son) was old enough to walk with him, he said: “O my son! I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering you (offering you in sacrifice to Allaah). So look what you think!” He said: “O my father! Do that which you are commanded, In shaa’ Allaah (if Allaah wills), you shall find me of As-Saabiroon (the patient).”

Then, when they had both submitted themselves (to the Will of Allaah), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (or on the side of his forehead for slaughtering);

We called out to him: “O Ibraaheem!

You have fulfilled the dream!” Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinoon (good-doers).

Verily, that indeed was a manifest trial.

And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice (i.e. a ram);

And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among the later generations.

“Salaam (peace) be upon Ibraaheem!”

Thus indeed do We reward the Muhsinoon (good-doers).

Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves.

And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaaq (Isaac) a Prophet from the righteous.

We blessed him and Ishaaq (Isaac). And of their progeny are (some) that do right, and some that plainly wrong themselves.” [al-Saaffaat 37:99-113)

Ibn Katheer (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: Allaah tells us that when His Close Friend (Khaleel) Ibraaheem migrated from the land of his people, he asked his Lord to grant him a righteous son, so Allaah gave him the glad tidings of a forbearing boy. This was Ismaa’eel (peace be upon him), because he was the first child who was born (to Ibraaheem, peace be upon him). There is no dispute on this point among the followers of the various religions [Jews, Christians and Muslims], that (Ismaa’eel) was the first child born to Ibraaheem.

“And, when he (his son) was old enough to walk with him” means, when he grew up and was able to take care of himself, like his father. Mujaahid said: “And, when he (his son) was old enough to walk with him” means, when he grew up and was able to ride and walk and work like his father did. When this happened, then Ibraaheem (peace be upon him) saw a dream in which he was commanded to sacrifice this son of his. According to a hadeeth narrated from Ibn ‘Abbaas and attributed to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): “The dreams of the Prophets are Wahy (revelation).” So Allaah was testing His Close Friend by commanding him to sacrifice this beloved son who had come to him in his old age, when he was very old, and after he had been commanded to settle the child and his mother in the desert, in a valley in which there was no noise, no people, no vegetation and no animals. So Ibraaheem obeyed the command of Allaah and left them there, putting his trust in Allaah, and Allaah sent them provision, from an unexpected source. After all that, when Ibraaheem was ordered to sacrifice this son of his, who was his firstborn and his only child, he responded to his Lord and obeyed His command, hastening to do as He willed. So he told his son about it so as to put him at ease and not sacrifice him by force.

“He said: ‘O my son! I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering you (offering you in sacrifice to Allaah). So look what you think!’” The forbearing boy immediately responded: “He said: ‘O my father! Do that which you are commanded, In shaa’ Allaah (if Allaah wills), you shall find me of As-Saabiroon (the patient).’” This was the best answer he could give, an example of obedience to his father and to the Lord of mankind. Allaah said (interpretation of the meaning):

“Then, when they had both submitted themselves (to the Will of Allaah), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (or on the side of his forehead for slaughtering).” It was said that “when they had both submitted themselves” meant when they had both surrendered to the command of Allaah. “and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead” means that he put him face down. It was said that he wanted to slaughter him from behind so that he would not see his face at the time of slaughter. This was the view of Ibn ‘Abbaas, Mujaahid, Sa’eed ibn Jubayr, Qutaadah and al-Dahhaak… “They both submitted themselves” means that Ibraaheem said Bismillaahi’r-Rahmaan ir-Raheem and said Allaahu akbar and the boy said La ilaaha ill-Allaah because he was about to die. Al-Saddi and others said that (Ibraaheem) passed the knife over the boy’s throat but it did not cut him at all. It was said that a sheet of copper was placed between the knife and his throat, and Allaah knows best. Then it was called out from Allaah:

“’O Ibraaheem! You have fulfilled the dream!’” meaning, the purpose has been achieved, you have been tested and your obedience and willingness to do what your Lord commands have been proven. An alternative sacrifice will be provided instead of your son, just as you willingly submitted your body to the flames and you spent your wealth to honour your guests. Hence Allaah said:

“Verily, that indeed was a manifest trial” meaning that it was an obvious test.

“And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice” means, We provided a ransom for his son, an alternative to be sacrificed in his stead. According to the best known opinion of the majority of scholars, this was a fine white horned ram. Al-Thawri narrated from ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Uthmaan ibn Khaytham from Sa’eed ibn Jubayr that Ibn ‘Abbaas said: It was a ram that had grazed in Paradise for forty years.

It was also narrated from Ibn ‘Abbaas that the dried ram’s head was still hanging on the downspout of the Ka’bah. This alone is evidence that the one who was to be sacrificed was Ismaa’eel, because he was the one who was settled in Makkah and we have never heard that Ishaaq ever came to Makkah from the time he was little. And Allaah knows best.

See Al-Bidaayah wa’l-Nihaayah by Ibn Katheer, 1/157-158

The one who was to be sacrificed was Ismaa’eel and not Ishaaq, because of the reasons stated above. In his Tafseer (commentary) on these Ayaat, Ibn Katheer also mentioned a number of points which prove that it was Ismaa’eel who was to be sacrificed. These points may be summed up as follows:

Ismaa’eel was the first child of whom glad tidings were given to Ibraaheem. He was older than Ishaaq according to the consensus of the Muslims and the People of the Book (Jews and Christians). According to the scriptures of the People of the Book, it was stated that Allaah commanded Ibraaheem to sacrifice his only son, and in some manuscripts it says that he was to sacrifice his first-born son.

The first son is usually more dear than other children, so the command to sacrifice him is a more exacting test.

It is mentioned that glad tidings of a forbearing boy were given, and that he was the one who was to be sacrificed. Later in the passage it says (interpretation of the meaning): “And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaaq (Isaac) a Prophet from the righteous.” When the angels brought the glad tidings of Ishaaq to Ibraaheem, they said: “We give you glad tidings of a boy (son) possessing much knowledge and wisdom” [al-Hijr 15:53 – interpretation of the meaning].

Allâh said (interpretation of the meaning): “But We gave her glad tidings of Ishaaq, and after him, of Ya’qoob.” (Hood 11:71) meaning that a child called Ya’qoob would be born during their (Sara and Ishaaq’s) lifetimes, and he would have many descendents… and it does not sound right for Ibraaheem to be commanded to sacrifice him when he was little, because Allaah had promised that he would have many descendents.

Ismaa’eel is described here (in Soorat al-Saffaat) as being “forbearing” because this is very appropriate in this context.

Tafseer Ibn Katheer, 4/15. And Allaah knows best.

Sexual sin is not the only sin people face consequences for. So you can see a virgin committing sins that grieves the Holy Spirit too. Sex is not the only sin.

And, the non virgins you mentioned probably dated different people and were faithful to each one of them while in the relationship. It doesn't mean they were sleeping with multiple men at a time.

So she also has also cultivated the habit of being faithful to one person. And it could be that she was unlucky with her choice of men.

On the contrary, a man that has had multiple partners in the past can get married and drop the habit because he has seen it all. While a man who married as a virgin, will easily fall into temptation when faced with a very tempting one.

I am not an advocate for premarital sex, having multiple partners, etc. I am just someone that has seen both sides that has formed my opinion. I am also someone who sees reason before judgement, just like Christ.
Unfortunately judgment is anchored on reason. Judgment is predicated on cause and effect. Justice demands that you cannot eat your cake and still have it. There are several contexts where men and women fall for infidelity and guess what Jesus also recognizes this. The mere fact that He had to die as an atonement for the sins of men is enough to show that sin has consequences that can't be waived and you know the same calm and gentle Jesus that dies on the cross is the same Jesus that will ride on a horse as a warrior to slaughter the armies of men that will gather against Him at the battle of Meggido...it is the same Jesus that will sit on the White throne and judge the nations and this same Jesus will send some to eternal damnation and others to eternal bliss...Justice, like mercy, is also one of the weightier matters of the law and while I believe there is hope for everyone that has fallen I also believe that if many considered the consequence of falling they would be more wary of falling. If we had not trivialized virginity more ladies would be wary about losing it wrongly and fewer ladies would have had to contend with the temptation to fall but because we have trivialized it so greatly it has become one of the root causes of the alarming divorces rates today. Now we have young men saying they don't see the value of virginity and virgins themselves are scared of their virginity because of the extent to which virginity has been demonized...I have also seen and heard a lot of marital crashes to know that every divorce is based on or connected directly or indirectly to an event or behavior that started in the past and in many cases it is sexually related.

ImaIma1:
Well...i can dispute your truism. A lady that married as a "non virgin" knows what sex is with more than one person and exploration doesn't really move her. But what would you say about a virgin that may want to explore and see what other men are like.

Remember, once she's deflowered on the first night, she has already started sexual activity and is no longet a virgin.

I know someone who was married as a virgin but ended up going back to her ex of 2yrs who never had sex with and finally gave it to him.

If God was so unmerciful toward non virgins, why would he give them children while the ones who married as virgins are still childless. Everything is by God's grace not merit. God doesn't see the way we see with our carnal eyes. That's why he is GOD.
You highlight individual cases by I am highlighting a likely statistical regularity. I am not disputing the existence of exceptions to the rule like the case you mentioned but I am saying that behaviors don't switch off and on like you seem to suggest. Habit formation is a fundamental determinant of behaviour (several theories in Psycology and Economics prove this). This implies that you can reasonably find a large proportion of people repeating behaviors that they engaged in in their past because such behaviors have morphed into habits. The very act of having multiple sex partners continuously over a period of time could render one conditioned to keep having multiple sex partners. This is why very nice, well mannered ladies still fall for infidelity...they fall not necessarily because they are wicked, rather they fall because they have been conditioned by years and years of moving from man to man. This same dynamic applies to men. You can never make a man that is used to moving from one woman to the next loyal to you. If you like be the best cook, have the sweetest physique, be extremely well mannered and be a well rounded wife he will still cheat because cheating has become a habit that he has to keep feeding...there is no on and off switch in our brains for certain behaviors and this is why virgins have an advantage over hoes. I am not saying all women who married as virgins are better than all other women with regards to fidelity rather I am saying most of the women who marry as virgins have a less likelihood of falling for infidelity than the women who have lived a very sexually loose lifestyle before marriage!

Yes, God's mercy applies to us all but God's mercy does not always undo all the consequences of sin. God had mercy of Peter but it doesn't change the fact that for generations Peter's record of denial is available for all to see. I'm sure Peter would wish he could tear out that part of the Bible where he denied Christ. What about David the man after God's heart. God had mercy on David, yes, but God's mercy did not bring back Uriah from the dead, the man that David killed and whose wife David stole. There is always a consequence to bear as far as sin is concerned. A lady that loses her virginity cannot regain it because she became born again. Yes God has mercy on us but sin leaves an indelible scar on our lives and that is why we must advocate for men and women to repent from sexual sin.

Founder of The Synagogue Church of All Nations Prophet TB Joshua has requested his followers to “pray for YouTube” after the platform blocked his channel Emmanuel TV, Igbere TV reports.

YouTube blocked the channel after UK-based organisation OpenDemocracy reported, accusing it of hate speech against LGBT people.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKSLvJyLgzw

The channel had more than 1.8 million subscribers and 600 million views as of the time it was shut down.

In one of his YouTube videos, watched more than 1.5 million times, a woman is seen being hit violently to “cure” her of her sexuality.

“Between 2016 and January 2020, the channel posted at least seven similar clips showing the charismatic Christian televangelist engaging in violent exorcism,” OpenDemocracy wrote.

The pastor said he had appealed YouTube’s decision.

“We strongly oppose all forms of hate speech!” he wrote on Facebook. “We have had a long and fruitful relationship with YouTube and believe this decision was made in haste.”

Facebook also removed several videos on Joshua’s page, which has 5.6 million followers.

Many, including tens of thousands of his followers, have criticised the move by YouTube.

Following the suspension, Joshua opened a new YouTube page which gained 27,000 subscribers after 24 hours.

https://www.facebook.com/103470916440360/posts/4166432260144185/
Violent exorcism that PEOPLE CONSENTED TO...How is that a valid reason to censor a platform? People consent to do very dangerous surgeries and no one calls for boycotts or censorship. Some parents even consent to sex-related reconstructive surgery for their children (below the age of 12) and there is no outcry against this...I think it is better for YouTube to just mention that they are against Judaeo-Christian beliefs and all Christian channels should leave their platform.

It's not just abour the ladies closing their legs. What about the men? It takes two to tango.

And not only ladies who married as virgins stay faithful even when their husbands are away. There are other ladies who respect vows.

Plus, it's not all ladies who married as virgins thst stau faithful. Some of them after a while want to explore and try new things.

That's why I say this life is not balanced. Things don't always follow the samw pattern. Just thank God for your wife that she's the loyal type. It has little to do with marrying as a virgin.

That's my opinion.
Yes, cheating requires the cooperation of two people and both parties should bear the responsibility of curbing the spate of infidelity...Ladies should learn to close their legs until they are married irrespective of the pressure from men and men should desist from illicit relationships irrespective of the pressure from the ladies. Yes anyone can make a conscious effort to respect their marital vows but not everyone faces the same intensity of the temptation to cheat. A lady that has had extensive sexual activity before marriage will obviously face a more intense temptation to cheat compared to a virgin. You cannot dispute this truism. This does not imply that all ladies who married as virgins will never cheat but it implies that ladies who got married as virgins face a lower tendency to fall for infidelity than ladies who have years upon years of sexual experience. Our world is full of statistical regularities and this means that a rule may not apply to everyone but it can apply to a statistical majority...and I am very confident that if we were to conduct a randomized controlled trial where we subject groups of women who married as virgins and those who did not to the same stimulus - men asking them out and requesting a clandestine meeting - you will likely find that more women who had extensive sexual experience before marriage will likely heed the invitation...

GOD did not put the hymen in a woman's body for nothing. It is there for a reason. You can discount it all you want but it doesn't change the fact that virgins are almost always better to marry than hoes...virgins have private part, hoes have public part, Lol. You can privatize and monopolize what is already private but attempting to privatize and monopolize what is already in public domain is just plain foolish!

This life no balance.

Almighty virginity didn't curb your cheating. After the first night, she's no longer a virgin and there's no spark...lol.

If she cheats on you and confesses, will you forgive her that easily without bringing in the calvary?
You were literally waiting for this moment, lol...The event I mentioned happened in the first few weeks of me knowing her and I did not have intercourse with the said lady...rather I flirted with her and I called myself out on that. As far as I am concerned flirting is cheating. In the end, I am not saying I am a saint and I deserve a virgin. I, in my previous posts, said even men who have had extensive sexual damage from their past also need healing. I knew this and was deliberate about breaking off from my past and healing all the damage I did to myself...and it paid off because since I started with my wife I have never had intercourse with another woman (particularly my EXs) even though we were in a long distance relationship 70% of the time. I have heard men say they cannot have a long distance relationship with their girlfriend or wife because they are very sure she will cheat but in my case after leaving my woman in one state to further my studies and look for job in another state (more than 800km away), I still returned to her, after spending several months, to find her intact... it was such a great honor to have such a woman.

I do not deserve her but I realize the importance of marrying a virgin for the sake of a sustainable marriage and avoiding stories that end in suicide...this is why I say again ladies should stop spreading their legs before marriage, they should remember that what they call fun leads to sexual damage and a sexually damaged person can only bring sorrow and pain even though they don't mean to. If more ladies closed their legs, fewer men will find the opportunity to cheat but today many men are so confident that with a slice of pizza and a glass of juice he can get almost any lady to spread her legs up to 180 degrees and allow him vaccinate her until her body starts to drip with vaccine...

In this way Hosea feel the pain of the unfaithfulness of his wife just as God felt the pain of unfailful and harlot Israel to Idolatry

Oh yes there are tons and tons of virgins...the problem with most guys is that they have set in their heart all kinds of criteria. Some guys are so driven by physical attributes. Some others are driven by economic conditions...Some are even foolishly driven by vague religious conditions. I believe If you put yourself on the path of destiny and purpose, make up your mind not to deceive or use and dump ladies, ask GOD for guidance and pay rapt attention to the leading of GOD in every environment you find yourself you will easily find an unspoiled lady who can help you, be loyal, be submissive and be worthy of all the love that you have to give...the trouble with most guys is that when their god-sent is around them that is when they are in the mood to use and dump. I believe many guys have used and dumped their very own wives in the name of boyfriend-girlfriend...May GOD help us.

I would have asked you to swear to us that you were a virgin or that you met your spouse as a virgin.... You can only throw a stone when you are not living in a glass house...
I am not judging non-virgins. I am simply stating the obvious. You did not counter the verses I posted and neither did you refute the fact that the case of Hosea was not necessarily a standard for life. Yes I might come across as being unfair for the things I posted but they are true. Check every marriage that ends as a result of the unfaithfulness of wives. More often than not those wives have had multiple sex partners before the marriage. Such women hardly get fixated on their husbands and at the slightest provocation will be itching to be with another man...what I did not state in my earlier post is that such ladies who have had extensive sexual activity before marriage need to heal from all that sexual damage if they are to sustain a long and happy marriage. The same applies to men who have had extensive sexual activity before marriage. Such people need to be cleansed, healed and purified for their past to remain past...I don't have to swear at all. I have been in relationships with ladies with easy virtues and though at some point I naively felt I could groom them and make them change but soon enough I learned that that was a futile endeavor. If GOD could not directly change Jezebel then is it me that will now change a lady that wants to flex her life to the fullest? I learned the hard way and decided to let GOD lead me to the woman that can support me instead of choosing based on very foolish criteria...and by GOD's grace I got the best, an unspoiled and pure lady that is fixated on me and seeks my best interest all the time!

When did men start accepting mediocrity?

Well, I think if you as a man ain't a virgin yourself, then, you have no right getting married to a virgin.
That you may not have the right to a thing does not deny you having the privilege of accessing that same thing...there are many things in my life that I did not deserve but I got them nevertheless by the grace of GOD...I refuse to delude myself into getting married to a hoe. I did not force any girl to turn herself into a sexual dustbin for guys to relieve stress, so any girl who renders herself a dustbin will be thoroughly used and overused. It just dumb getting married to a dustbin and then complaining later that she is not faithful or that she has defrauded you by making you train the children of other men...Dustbins are dustbins. As sad as it sounds, dustbins are to be used and dumped in the dumpsite...This is why I advocate that ladies quit allowing guys use them!

Putting religion when it suits you guys is just annoying... obviously most of you don't read your bibles... What will you say about God Commanding Hosea to Marry a Harlot... Did he do it? was it the will of God? Can you do it even in this modern age?... did it contradict "do not be equally yoked with an unbeliever"? I believe most of you doesn't even know that a scripture like that exists...

You guys should just stop this virgin thing... It's a choice... It's not a guarantee for a happy marriage
God's command to Hosea to marry a harlot was a sign to those Hosea was sent to just as Isaiah walking naked for 3 years on the streets of Jerusalem was also as a sign to the people Isaiah was sent to prophesy to...God did not anywhere command His children to marry harlots as a lifestyle. In fact it is written that: Proverbs 22:14  The mouth of strange women is a deep pit: he that is abhorred of the LORD shall fall therein. So If you wind up marrying a hoe you may very well be hated by GOD. The Bible also explains some of the consequences of marrying a hoe. Proverbs 5:8-11  Remove thy way far from her (the strange woman), and come not nigh the door of her house: Lest thou give thine honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel:  Lest strangers be filled with thy wealth; and thy labours be in the house of a stranger; And thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed . The Bible concludes that having any association with harlots and hoes, which the Bible refers to as strange women, will end in premium tears...So don't delude yourself. This was how many young guys claimed they wanted ladies with years of sexual experience only for them to find out after 30 years of marriage that all their children belong to other men...and more often than not suicide becomes the only sensible option for such foolish men!

@ThePlainTruth Marrying a virgin or anyone for that matter does not guarantee anything but virgins have an attribute that comes with a very unique advantage...a true virgin is like a sexual blank slate. If indeed she has not be sexually involved with any man then there is a reasonable chance that if she is married to the person who deflowered her she could easily be loyal to her hubby. Her hubby would set the sexual standards that would define her and she would easily be fixated on her hubby...but when a lady that has extensive sexual intercourse is involved, there is a strong chance that any one of her sexual partners from her past can access her again irrespective of how good and caring her husband is. Also such ladies easily engage in paternity fraud...

...if this is how we treat every vice...this world would be unlivable for everyone. While I do not support the lifestyle of James Brown, it is utterly wrong to treat him in this manner...it is very possible that many of the i.diots embarrassing this guy publicly are adulterers, have multiple girlfriends they are deceiving or engage in some vice or the other and they will receive their recompense in like manner as James Brown!

It's amazing how a lady says she loves someone but she is disloyal to that same person...some idiot will rationalize it by saying that the guy has not proposed but they forget that more often than not ladies take this attitude into marriage...and when they see a man that seems better their legs will enter autopilot and spread wide enough to swallow a NEPA pole! This is the origin of paternity fraud...a woman that is not loyal before you wed her cannot be loyal after you wed her!
