and we can be sure that those uniforms will only be washed once a week if ever at all. they should add neatness inspection too |
Yes most definitely! |
jadakiss213: my dear,in this case, its purely a Natural disaster..there's little or nothing anybody can do to prevent it..The best that can be done is Post Crisis management and that's what Government is doing..We shldnt play politics with everything..And you are so sure of this because? Has anyone tried to find out anything or we are all accepting it's a "natural disaster" even if na effects of global warming, then it needs to be addressed on an intl level if need be. let the govt join force with other countries to control this thing. haba. |
jadakiss213: now, tell me how would u prevent floods of this magnitude? Its a natural disaster for Gods sake..U be real EBA girl.G**ri don block ur medula..smhHHAHAHAHAHAHA I would have agreed with you except I havent had garri in a while now. but honestly, are you saying floods cant be prevented? anyway, like I said, prevent the floods or make it bearable. Dont tell me its a natural disaster and there's nothing that can be done about it. When did the whole flooding thing start? Has it always been like that? Is it climate change? What exactly is causing the thing sef? At least, let us know first, then we can now see if there are any solutions. Dont just sit there and say its a natural disaster and so we must just be looking like dummies. At least, lets know why it's happening the way it is. This is not an earthquake we are talking about here. Even if it's global warming, then let the govt take the necessary steps to ensure collective measures are put in place to reduce all that global warming ish. My point is, we cant just sit back and say it's a natural disaster! Im pretty sure there is a whole lot the govt can do to prevent/reduce the floods. |
Ok now, how do we prevent floods from happening next year? Floods are hitting us every year and yet, nothing is done to prevent them. Do we even know if the causes are man-made? It's usually medicine after death in Nigeria. We go first wait for the calamity to happen then begin dey find put bandage for wound without knowing the cause. The government needs to find out the root causes and see what can be done to prevent another recurrence or at least make it more bearable. |
Long overdue! Excited about this, |
blink182: The sequence isTotally agree!! Manuals are so much fun! |
sammy102: If the man of God really said all that...well I guess he is just giving an advise to the youth so they won't end up being deceived by some useless liars out there.and there arent any "useless liars" in the church? The fact that I'm a member of RCCG does not mean anything. Anybody can be a member of any church and be just that - a member (attendance). It does not say anything bout my spirituality, character, etc. |
OYINBOGOJU: The only brave Head of State left in Africa.Totally agree. I love his guts!! He speaks the truth many times too. I loved his speech at last years G.A too. It was terrific. |
"As we in spirit join the United States in condemning that death, shall the United States also join us in condemning that barbaric death of the head of state of Libya - Gaddafi? It was a loss, a great loss, to Africa, a tragic loss to Africa." (In reference to the recent killing of the U.S Ambassador to Libya.) Here's a link to the video: http://bcove.me/hut10awu |

We need more adventurous people like you jare. Ignore all those calling you names. (I wonder why some people think he is nuts to want to do this. Such people need to be avoided (dreamkillers). If/When the guy carries out his adventure, the same people who discouraged him will come here and start praising him and famzing. One of the many reasons why we remain where we are. We need to change our mentality. smh) Biko alienware, if you are really serious about this, I support u 100%. I'll be following your blog if you set one up! Peace |

Pain: I'm just baffled by the way US/UK visas are reverred and worshipped by Africans. This poster makes it look as if a denial of these visa is a denial to a happy life. As if the visas are a ticket to eternal life. God free us from mental slavery. Amen.getting banned isnt a joke. what if you had to go to any of those countries for business or education sometime in the future or some other reason apart from leisure. This isn't about mental slavery. We live in a global world now mehn. Is it now a crime to go to the UK or US now? all because of mental slavery Imagine missing out on some events (conferences, business stuff, weddings etc) all because something like this. Anyway I guess the ish here is people not paying their billsand getting away with it. The koko of the oro is that if you cannot afford the cost of childbirth abroad, then dont go. Im sure if you paid your bills, it wouldnt be so much of a big deal. |
musKeeto: Topic was discussed extensively hereBut this one isnt about someone choking me o. Im just trynna wake up but I cant. I cant move any part of my body (almost like a stroke type thing) |
It happens to me!!! and I freak out too!!!! Not gonna lie, mehn na Jesus me sef dey always shout o (in my head at least cause I cant talk). But yea, I agree that it's scary! I really hate it when it happens. |
Dunno about Douala but Dakar is very safe. Jus watch out for your pockets and bags when in public. Apart from that, pas de soucis. If u decide to go to Senegal, pls stop by Gorée island and toubab dialao, tambakunda, etc. Explore the night life too on weekends especially. Si tu as le temps, try going to the French cultural center. If you are Christian and wanna go to Church, try the international baptist church of dakar (that's if you want to worship with nigerians, cameroonians ghanaians and the rest of the African crew with a few Europeans and Americans. If you want mainly Senegalese and francophones, then there's a church really close to IBC and also a big catholic church around the corner from IBC. If you are Muslim, you have no worries at all. Theres probably a mosque on every street so you're good. If you aren't religious, then free. Um let's see...... Can't think of anything else ATM. Maybe when I wake up, more stuff will come to me. But I can tell you this for a fact, Senegal is one of the most peaceful African countries if not the most and crime is minimal apart from pickpocketing etc which will only happen if you aren't careful. Peace. |
Na wa o. No sense of humor at all! When the OP first posted the thread, it was in the jokes section. I guess it makes more sense over there than in the fashion section. And of course, it's not real indomie now. Haba! It's a hairstyle that has the same design as noodles. whether or not it's NG, na Indomie we sabi for our country. If the OP had used some foreign noodle name now, pple will be like "whats our business". Let's see the humor in this and have a good laugh! (like I did) ![]() |
@OP, how many girls have you been with? |
pakoto: Silliness even today is 2/9/12,go get something doingin your own part of the world Disclaimer: not agreeing that this story is true o. still waiting for some official report. |
LMFAO!!!!! This thread is hilarious. As annoying as it might be sometimes, it is a comic relief sometimes plus pple should be free to express themselves now. when its not like they are insulting anyone and if their comment irritates you, simply ignore it and move on. but banning is taking the issue too far. Anyways sha, Im a garri lover!!!!

miteolu: 2.3 billion naira wasted by able people now disables winning gold. It means our ability is only in disabilitymaybe it is! Just maybe! |
afam4eva: They've already started doing us proud. What an able-bodied Nigerian athlete cannot do, a disabled Nigerian athlete can do and even more.I dunno about voting in a disabled person in aso rock (doesn't matter really) but this achievement highlights something very important. The future of the country lies in the hands of the "different". |
To all those who were doubting the ability of these athletes and Nigeria, Yakubu Adesokan already won a gold medal in weightlifting: http://www.london2012.com/paralympics/athlete/adesokan-yakubu-5511777/ |
petnkool: u.k sha don empty all of the royal treasury on "Olym-press" the worldhahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahaha |
For some reason, I feel like this opening ceremony was better than the one in July. |
"It is time for African leaders to re-imagine an education that meets the needs of young people, sustains growth and promotes equity," writes Reeta Roy |
