RomanceRe: Nigerian Men, you Are Confused by ehissi(m): 9:27am On Dec 28, 2017
Safiaaa:
This is not to bash Nigerian Men at all. This is just an observation and I have every right to my opinion. I'm also not generalizing, talking about the majority.

Now I've observed something about most Nigerian men that I don't seem to understand. It baffles me and it's very distasteful. I've honestly come to the conclusion that you guys indirectly know what you want but cover it with deceit. I know every effing person has heard this phrase ' All Nigerian women bring to the table is pussy and nothing else, they're useless', but indirectly that's exactly what they want.

You see, a lot of Nigerian men have inflated fragile egos. They run after things that stroke their manhood, which is fine. The problem is that most of them are in denial. When a woman has nothing to offer but her pussy, she's dependent on you in every other aspect, especially financially. And as we all know most men find security and confidence in their pocket size. So when a woman depends on a man for her finances, it's almost like she's stroking his ego and confidence at the same time. He likes that superior/ dominant feeling. It's what most Nigerian men crave for. That financial dominance is a safety ego ground that they can always run back to.

On the other hand, when a woman is financially independent got her life together and doing well for herself, what do Nigerian men do? Run the opposite direction. Why? Intimidation. Insecurity. Fear of feeling inferior. Calling her all sorts of names. A woman who is independent will not NEED to beg you for money or ask you for anything. So in that case, they're not feeling as ' manly' as they would like. It burns them internally. Jealousy, envy and lies will begin to fall into the picture. If you don't agree with that you're on a long thing.

So Nigerian men, stop being in denial. If you want a woman who only offers her pussy and frequent emotional availability here and there, just be honest with yourself. A financially independent woman is not for the emotionally weak minded. Indirectly, most of you want a woman who is financially dependent on you. You want that financial dominance, that superiority. My problem is that when she's offering that pussy to you, don't complain. Accept it like a ' man' and take on the financial responsibility. If not, change your class of women. Financially independent women should not intimidate you or scare you away. Go for the women who will compete with you in finances. The ball is in your hands, take responsibility for your damn actions, and stop acting confused all the time.

Dassal.
Actually the ball(s) is not in our hands, it between the legs. Plus men don't run away from cash or pussy neither are they intimated by them. Financially independent or otherwise........ angry

Throughout my teenage years I never indulged in anything that is remotely considered as youthful exuberances. No parties.. No hangouts.. No rebellion.. No fun.. No girls.

I'm what you'll consider as a pretty decent kid. Been always studious and devote. I felt those stuff were distractions and a waste of time. so I was always buried in books and church activities.

I thought being uptight and serious would make me "successful" . Unfortunately.... It appears I might have been wrong. I see my friends who practically live in orgies and revelries enjoy life and still have things work fine for them. So I guess screw seriousness!

Recently I've been having a strange feeling of emptiness. I read up some books and most suggested that lack of love/companionship can be a major reason for feelings of emptiness.

It then dawned on me that I've never asked a girl out in my entire life. I've never dated. I never thought it was a big deal and I pretty enjoy my company alone. I assumed I'll get a girl when am ready for marriage. But hey... I don't even know if I'll be alive that long (tomorrow isn't guaranteed).

I've recently been feeling very lonely .. do you think it's a problem I've never experienced relationship with a girl at my age? I'll be 23 next year.

I don't care about intimacy cus you can easily get that without dating no body.

Constructive suggestions please

" I dont believe in talking about tithe because it is really a question of Faith""

Tithing has no single connection with "faith".

Stop deceiving ur sef. Tithing has a well established modus operande as per how to pay it.
It is you who has been freezed deceived, that is why I said there are those who read the bible and those who studied it.

Galatians 3: 6. Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. 7. Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

Abraham believed God and it accounted to him for righteousness, that is what the bible teaches. But righteousness of the children of israel was by the law because they didn't know God and never really believed him.

This also confirms who is deceived or the deceiver.

The law which was handed down to Moses, by God to the children of Israel - the same law that contains the modus operandi for paying the tithe - was given more than 400years after the passing of Abraham.

So how can you say, a man who never saw the law, was under the law? Use your brain, remove sentiments and bias against preachers and pastors and think.

Its like saying Muritala acted based on the 1999 constitution to frame some of his policies when he was alive, question was the 1999 constitution existing in the 1980's?

wink

Paul used a more befitting expression....

Hebrews 7: 9. And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham. 10. For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him.

Can you see that? Levi is a tribe of people named after the man levi, who was a son of the man Israel, Israel who was the son of Isaac, Isaac who was Abraham's Son!

The timeline between Abraham and Moses is more than 600years for crying out loud, levi wasnt even born! Habaaaaaa........ undecided

Christians do not touch the Bible, talk more of reading it..

Freeze is right about tithing and YES, Tithe is for feeding the poor, it's clearly written in plain English. Widows, orphans, fatherless, Levites(Theres no levites today) Motherless, Foreigners who have no land, etc.

Oga no even go there. Thieving men of God ask their members to sell everything they have and give it to God, it's natural to pastors to say that in Nigeria where sheep's de move upandan.

""pastor say honour the Lord with tithe, you say Daddy Freeze say no""

Oga, a pastor does not have any form of right to ask anyone to bring any form of tithe, Anyone who does so is a foolish sheep. And besides tithe is not money, Tithe is agricultural produce.

""Even commonsense tells me that a Pastor that builds a 50,000 seater capacity hall with AC isnt going to live there, he is doing it for people who will seat in so they can be comfortable and undistracted during services""

Nigeria pastors build those 50,000 seater halls to bring in people en mass to trick them. It's business as usual nothing more.

As for Going to church, That ur quotation is used for scare tactics for the gullibles. It was the Romans that chose to say all those trash n they also added paganism into Christianity.
Well! I thought hard before I typed this reply - obviously not hard enough - because I dont believe in talking about tithe because it is really a question of Faith. And faith the bible says doesnt come by Freeze but by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

Besides that, I sense that most people who talk against or for it are not really seeking the truth that they may please God, but just have beef with the people and things of God. As a student, I used to remember the disgust some folks used to look at me when I wear a new suit to go to church, using joke to call me a "tidyer of tithe" at a time when I didnt even know what Malachi 3 is talking. International Prophets, them no dey go church but them know as Pastor dey make am, them know wetin E dey use tithe do, them dey use their tecno dey monitor E Spiritual BVN.

Faith the bible say also works by love. I too had issues with the concept of tithing, till God opened my eyes through study - and not reading of scriptures.

A lot of knowledge seems to flying around web, unlike before when I undertook a study into this matter. Now everyone is a tithe expert, including those who know nothing about the bible nor why Christian even ought to study it.

The bible clearly shows us 3 different tithes. And the first tithe wasnt agricultural produce, it was the spoils of the battle of the 5 kings, given to Melchizedek by Abraham (proof that both you and your Daddy freeze don't study the bible one Naira)

When Abraham gave this tithe, he was not under obligation of law, the scripture teaches in clearer english that Abraham tithed by faith.

Adequate provision for the poor was made in the daily social activities by the law, besides the other tithe which was meant to be a blessing to not just the poor but the strangers among them, as well as the levites.

If you have ever read a bible, then you will remember that when God revealed how Eli the Chief priest and his 2 sons, Hopni and Phineas, would die to samuel he made a declaration that nobody remembers concerning the house of the Levites that nobody (except those who study the bible).

Co - incidentally, they died because they stole from the offerings/sacrifices of God amongst other things . Instead of their father eli, to punish them after the manner of priests, he dealt with them lightly after the manner of sons.

God accused him of honouring his son over Him and said something nobody should hear and this is it...

1 Samuel 2: 27. And there came a man of God unto Eli, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Did I plainly appear unto the house of thy father, when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh's house? 28. And did I choose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest, to offer upon mine altar, to burn incense, to wear an ephod before me? and did I give unto the house of thy father all the offerings made by fire of the children of Israel? 29. Wherefore kick ye at my sacrifice and at mine offering, which I have commanded in my habitation; and honourest thy sons above me, to make yourselves fat with the chiefest of all the offerings of Israel my people?

See the wahala God almighty is making over offering, not tithe. Please read some more

1 Samuel 2: 30. Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.

This is what God said, that the house of Levi wouldn't retain the priestly honour forever but now that Honour is reserved strictly for those who honour him. Any man who honours God will attract God's honour, those who dont will repel God's honour.

This is the full details of the curse upon Eli's house as revealed to Samuel the prophet....

1 Samuel 3: 11. And the LORD said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle. 12. In that day I will perform against Eli all things which I have spoken concerning his house: when I begin, I will also make an end. 13. For I have told him that I will judge his house for ever for the iniquity which he knoweth; because his sons made themselves vile, and he restrained them not. 14. And therefore I have sworn unto the house of Eli, that the iniquity of Eli's house shall not be purged with sacrifice nor offering for ever.

In other words, no sacrifice - this is scary when you consider that Christ himself to was presented as a sacrifice - can erase what happened in Eli's household, his refusal to restrain theft of God's offerings by his sons, who would have reigned as priests in his stead, if he had passed on.

The essence of this talk is on 1Samuel 2:30 which shows that God opened the floor with that statement to all who will be of good courage to serve him as priests. You will find out that after Eli, it became common place for prophets to judge Israel as a nation consistently.

As for the tithe being agricultural produce, its expected because the Israelites were agriculturalist and God had made it clear to them that he wanted them to be separated from the other nations. Having little or nothing to do with Nations to do with Nations who didnt serve him..

Proverbs 3: 9. Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: 10. So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

As for going to church, this is what the bible says...

Hebrews 10: 24. And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

So I dont know where you got your Romans, gullibles talk from. Me I didn't write the bible, maybe when you see the Romans who did it for the gullibles, create a tread on Nairaland and call them out.

Like I earlier, except you know of any case, I am personally not aware of any man of God of late that declared that members should sell all they have and come and give him. All I know pastors ask members to pay is tithe and even that one isn't by force. If you dont pay it, it is not a crime.

They dont put roadblocks and demand you pay before you enter, so I wonder whats the fuss about. The same daddy freeze will go to a show where they book 2 million a table with bouncers checking your ticket before you enter and hold mic and talk for 30mins top and leave with #500k, yet E dey vex say pastor ask people to pay tithe without compulsion.

Of which, strange enough by your definition, Jesus was a thieving man of God too, for he asked people to sell all they have to give to the poor and follow him. But the bible also records in John 12:6 that Judas Iscariot was in charge of collection of monies meant for the poor......

The 12 Apostles too were all thieving Men of God, for they did the same.

Shiloh that was held recently in Ota, Bishop Oyedepo's Ministry that has a 50,000 capacity hall, that we were once calling a massive auditorium is now too small to contain people, as hundreds of thousands of people sit in overflows. Infact, the ministry insists that people dont wahala themselves to come but stream the event through youtube. The same thing too with Redeem.

The man now wants to to build a place that can contain people for regular services, you say na game. Okay advise the man wetin E go do, make E leave people make them sitdon outside for sun? To please people like una say no be business as usual, because na una send am message to preach ba??
