This Oyinda is a nanny-goat. . . . . .Why attack his Dad? Are you PMSing again cos that is when you talk via your bony backside?
Another case of wasted school fees ![]() These are the kind of em chics you don't wanna be identified with in public. |
i'm very sorry your father was not a good role model for your family. . . but that doesn't mean u should apply your thesis to all the naija men in the world.
Do you actually know what a mistress is??Oh, your dad set a good example by sticking to one mistress all his life?? ![]() Ebonyeyes:Don't use a couple of examples to form a theory. Naija guys sleep around, yep . . . but sticking to one chic for years?? nah!!! ![]() French guys are famous for their mistresses, that's much worse. |
Ebonyeyes:Nah . . . Nigerian guys are straight up. Besides the only thing black guys prefer to new a.ss is newer a.ss.- Chris Rock ![]() It doesn't hurt as much as knowing your man's had a committed relationship wiv another woman. No black guy sticks with one mistress for 20 years, that guy should get his DNA checked. |
Ebonyeyes:French guys(especially the middle-class ones)have more mistresses than any other set of men in the world. They don't see it as a bad thing . . . that's why Brit chics avoid 'em. |
Ebonyeyes:Nah he's just trying to save himself from gold-diggers If she's got that much, then she won't have any reason to marry and divorce him the next day. |
I think Gestapo should show us what she looks like before sending her to Peckham.
Yeah I think so . . . get her pic, let's assess her chances. |
The Sly:Hehehe . . . nah, I know there'll be this person I'll like enough to spend 60 years with. When you like sumone that much, there's no need to keep having fun.
Virgin ke? Where did she say that? She should come spend 2 weeks in UK. I can guarantee her 50 suitors in the first 5 days.
I know . . . base camp should be Peckham. And let her join the choir, then she'll prolly get a pastor ![]() |
This is the difference. Although, you cannot deny Modenine's efforts in churning punchlines every now and then but he gets it wrong several times. 50 punchlines attempted, only 25 of em are on point. For M.I., 10 punchlines attempted, ALL the 10 are on point. Mode-9 fans will point to us that 25 is more than 10 but what is the % success?
But you have to understand that Modenine's voice is not one that can hold your attention without punchlines. M.I could play with words/multies for about a minute without even dropping a punchline. . . no one else does that. Just check out how M.I just plays with words in 123 Hiphop Microphone testing, Is there any question?? I'm the most interesting, the best thing since best things Cardiac arresting your chest 'n' Lyrically molesting the rest and the rest are not resting Listen I'm the rapper ladies are requesting I'm the dude these other dudes suggesting that their other dudes listen to . . . - 123 Hiphop So while this doesn't score you points on the Rap Battles thread, it hold you attention. That's what true emcees do. Use words to grab your attention. It shows his raw confidence . . . like 'I'm not trying to impress no one' |
gestapo:Go to any Nigerian church . . . guys like Sauron always go poaching in Peckham's Redeemed Church. ![]() |
M.I. has impressed me more than Mode-9. He has a better package and his vocals are clear and concise. He keeps it simple. Delivery, metaphors and multis are always on point. . . .not FORCED like Modo!!!
That's the difference . . . M.I's delivery?? check out 123 Hiphop. He spits like he owns the mic. Like we owe him sumn . . . he's comfortable. His metaphors/punchlines are not try ten five go enter like Carrick's passes. His beats?? Jags is a Kanye . . . his beats are sumn else. And there's a way M.I romances the beats like no other Naija rapper, see the way he mastered Anoti and then SWTD M.I is a breath of fresh air. |
gestapo, If u go back to naija, u will meet guys who will be desperate to marry u because they want to leave the country. lol Your pastor's prophesy is correct, 2010 is your year to get a husband. a french husband ![]() for a correct naija husband and a good marriage, you have to wait till 2050 for that. srry your very pretty by the way ![]() |
Well, CONTRADICTION, modenine wud spit a verse and contradict it the the bext, YET still makes sense. . call me the NICEST with the WICKED lyrics - - u cant be nice and wicked at the same time, so nicest contradicts wicked - This is just another ordinary line, come the bleep on!!! This is as genereic as 'no dey look my fine-boy, I wicked oooh' listen UP as i throw DOWN at my release - Anyone could do sumn with listen up. i'll bring the crowd to LIFE, by KILLING them with the flow - This is quite creative. i swon not to take an oath to always keep it REAL/ but most times i'm dropping FICTION to prove skill - This is quite generic, I hear this everyday on Def Poetry. example, the mode rap WELL but I'm ILL - 'Well' is not even the opposite of 'ill', 'healthy' is hip hop is BAD OFF i see nothing GOOD ON, diss me and FALL OFF before u get PUT ON - 'Bad off'?? Java, Modenine will cry if he listens to this today. The fall off/put on part is just forced WALK with me as i RUN things/ LOCK IT DOWN with the FREESTYLE that i spit/ - Walk/Run?? That's a paradox?? Lock it down/Freestyle?? That's as generic as the word goes. i'm rushing, all those who oppose/ the ones keeping FLAT FOOTED rappers on their toes/ - An okay line the black knight could wish you GOOD NIGHT so have a BAD DAY/ - This is extremely lame, 'black knight wish you good night??' your resume got the unclothed truth COVERED UP/ i'm RAW but i keep my private part RUBBERED UP - The first half is ill, but the I'm raw/rubbered up part?? Is this N-dubz in disguise?? Javalove . . . na big time bleep up to dey call this best in Africa. Just imagine Nas listening to this as Africa's representer?? Are you serious?? ![]() |
Come on . . . Contradiction had a good concept, same with Alphabetical Slaughter but you can't call them great hiphop songs. Nah!!! There's nothing special about 'I'm smooth but I handle my friction' or 'lyrical beast rise like yeast on the low' . . . that's just someone putting everyday words together. It's a good concept . . . yep but apart from the concept, it's got nothing else working for it. It's just like when people where screaming about Papoose' Alphabetical Slaughter when anyone with a dictionary coulda done that. Now Lagos State of Mind, Elbow Room, Cry . . . those are Modenine's good songs. Saying Contradiction is Mode's best song is like saying Rewind is Nas' best track. |
javalove:Talk true . . . you take your own money join before e even fit buy that one pair from Yaba. So technically you own half of that pair of timbs ![]() |
javalove:Are you being serious?? Come on . . . SWTD has everything Elbow Room had and the extra M.I Factor. M.I made it sound like he wasn't even trying . . . 'coming at me is the only way you'll ever approach a star' Elbow Room was prolly the best till M.I redefined Nigerian Hiphop. And the delivery?? Don't even go there M.I murks it. Delivery is one aspect M.I kills every other Nigerian rapper. The beat?? I can't even start on that one. Are you seriously comparing them?? Haba!!! Somebody Wants To Die is sex to the ears of every listener, the Encore half was like orgasm. ![]() BTW . . . you're my new Campaign Manager for my Face Of NL Music Awards. I need to reach the Modenine fans . . . you're the man for the job. ![]() |
@topic A VOTE FOR ELDEE IS A VOTE FOR CHANGE Remember, a man that does not vote has no advantage over a man that cannot vote Myself and my campaign managers Sauron and Javalove will never dissappoint. ![]() DO NOT VOTE FOR RAPJUNKIE - He is a junkie - He is a pirate . . . he's on PMAN's most wanted list - He isn't goodlooking enough to be the new face of NL Music Section ![]() - He'll spend his whole tenure arguing with ghosts ![]() - He doesn't even know how to win arguments. - He is a junkie - He's a rap junkie . . . we need diversity. - Did I forget to add that he's a junkie?? ![]() |
I know Ibime's been great on the Rap Battles threads. But c'mon, Streetwize gave this section a CPR. He inspired me to restart Warcraft when the section was dead. Before then, the only vibrant thread was the Sauron diss thread. Even Ibime gives his best only when Streetwize decides to battle. Streetwize is the soul of this section. Yeah, Lalaboi too deserves an award. |
@DBR, Rapjunkie and Tosin You know what let's make this fun . . . why don't we campaign to win votes ![]() VOTE FOR ELDEE - Intelligent replies on any and every thread on the Music Section - Knowledge spreads through most genres of music. - Yet to start a thread that doesn't hit 3 pages. - Brings traffic to the Music section with homepage topic. - Only insults people when it's really, really, really necessary ![]() - Any thread Eldee posts on becomes a hit. - Brings interesting arguments with Sauron to Nairaland. - Funny posts bring humour and sometimes controversy. ![]() - Along with Sauron, In the centre of every interesting MI V Modenine, Jay-Z V Eminem, Lyrics V Rhythm thread. - Trouble shooter in the true sense of the word. - Funny, smart and goodlooking . . . attract chics to the section (Stillwater, Ibkaye, Chiogo, FL Gators). 50% goodlooking is a good average. ![]() - Controversial is his Middle name. - Eldee is Legend. 9 times 9icer than 9ice used to be ![]() - Eldee is what you need to take you into 2010!!! - Eldee is the face of the Music Section, Sauron is not this 9icelooking ![]() VOTE FOR THE LEGEND!!! VOTE ELDEE!!! |
Hold on. . . You Beat Galacticos not Galácticos The former is just another team in the FPL, while the later happens to be our league leader He's very much through to the next round as you and me
Wow . . . I knew this dude was too crap to be our league leader. He had flipping mascherano in his team. In this jet age. |
I beat Galacticos out of the Cup . . . WOW!!! |
zhiggy:You obviously didn't listen to No Long Thing. No Long Thing had songs like Ika Oda and Mobolowowon . . . Dbanj's masterful control of the harmonica reminds me of SSP. Talking bout taking it back to the motherland, Dbanj did that literally with Iya Mi. It was a pure classic. Tongolo and Socor are still crazy party tracks till now. Dbanj and M.I are prolly the only Naija artistes that can drop hit singles every year non-stop. That shows the importance of having a good team behind you to help your creativity. |
Are these FPL people mad?? I'm paired against flipping Galacticos in the Fantasy Cup. Chei . . . why didn't they give me Debosky or Chamo?? |
all speaking in defence of the british justice system, i just laugh because you don't know jack what you're defending
Erm . . . I study the law. It's my career path, I should know what the English Legal System is like. It's you guys that don't know the basic principles of British Justice that tend to enforce your views on it. |
iice:I liked the storyline, the fact that it was a disabled guy was the edge it had over other Pochahuntas stories But the whole Pandora thing was perfect. |
Iyineda:How I Met Your Mother has lost its basic concept. Right now, the only funny person on the series is Barney, all the rest just bore you to death. Season 1 & 2 were legen- wait for it - dary ![]() |
AVATAR is The movie to see . . . best movie of the year by far. The graphics were innovative (just like Spiderman was at the time) . . . storyline was great, but the greatest weapon was the themes they touched on. Apartheid, Global Warming, War against the Middle East, Space exploration, the future of bio-technology and medicine, this is James Cameron being James Cameron. It's the future of 3-D . . . it's the future, full stop. ![]() On a scale of 1-10 it's 14 ![]() |
presido1:Nope . . . not every offence is a crime. A criminal offence is one which you can get jail time for. |
i couldnt agree less jare
Let's look at itHow many good songs were on the Unchained album?? Oruka was perfect, Face Me was great, Tolotolo was not that good . . . Highlife Dance Floor was creative . . . name one other good song on that album. |
presido1:The laws are made to protect residents of England and Wales . . . no one was forced to come. Once you're there, you have to obey the laws for the smooth-running of the society. presido1:Nope. |
four songs or not, that album sure moved and made a huge impact on the naija music scene
Come on . . . it is not even an album. When I want Best Four Song Cd of the decade, I'll remember to add Olufunmi ![]() |
