@Debo Thing is . . . we're analysing possibilities here and this is the one place where its a numbers game. And if someone comes here to tell me that paper predictions are 49-51, then it's my duty to call B.S. I don't why that's hard for the average gooner. And erm Ajax didn't score two against them. So you watch the La Liga and you said Ramos and Marcelo are crap . . . bring one full back in the EPL that can touch Ramos, just one. I repeat, they've got one of the best back fours in Europe. . . I can't even believe we're arguing bout that. @Wordsmith Best players in the world, best managers in the world, biggest match in world football, the fact that every team comes to the Nou Camp to play football and not camp, the fact that people don't dedicate players to fight kungfu on the pitch, the fact that they stole everything that made the EPL best of the mid 2000s, the fact that when EPLs best play against them, we play anti-football. . . do you want me to go on?? |
I think that was his smart move . . . getting arrested in the UK. FOI 2000 in the UK is the strongest in the West apart from prolly the Dutch. Now he's going on trial for having sex without a condom, you've gotta love women. ![]() Kobojunkie:Aiite. . . I don't know how hard it is for you to get the overall drift of my last post, but I'll attempt to make it clear. If your initial anti-Assange stance on the first page has to do with him being a villain for 'having sex without a condom' that's cool. But if you're in any way saying he did sumn morally/legally wrong by releasing the documents, then it's hypocrisy. Now this is a reply to your stance and not one post, and this is as simple as it gets. |
ritchboy:You Arsenal fans like to lie to yourselves . . .it's all good. I'm probably the only guy on this thread that follows the La Liga so I'll let it go till DSTV starts covering the best league in the world. |
googles:Hehehe . . . second badas.s retort for Aloyemeka in one thread . . . she'll never learn to just shut her mouth. ![]() |
teeluv:I wanted to pull all my hair out. . . awful. |
Oh I get it now . . .Stuart Little was adopted, but how come the whole school was okay with it?? |
Vector . . . problem is, no one I know has listened to his album. |
How can 605,000 in two weeks be 'doing bad'?? It seems y'all are new to this thing . . . Jay-Z who's the arguably the biggest rapper of the past five years sold 700,000 in two weeks. Kanye has been leaking songs off this album since July and y'all are on sum, he's not doing well ish?? He's still the second biggest this year in a year that had Drake, BOB and Eminem, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne and Nikki Minaj releasing albums. At the end of the day, this album is prolly the best thing that's had rap verses in it since The Black Album. And y'all can use the argument of convenience that everyone is kissing his arse but that will be ignoring the fact that he was blackballed by every magazine you know a few months ago. @Ignatio Get the order right rappers fell in love with the autotune since hiphop stopped doing well. |
Because two oyibos and not Africos like you are dying for a black woman.
Oh yeah . . . I get it now, the newspaper has to report strange happenings. ![]() |
rubbish story eldee am a keen follower of your warcraft on rap battle thread, u got tourney to round up the year?
Thanks. . . I'm trying to set one up, but you know how long it takes those primadonnas to even write one verse. ![]() But you'll prolly see a cypher next week or sumn. |
COCKFEST!!!!!!!!!! |
Why's this in a newspaper?? |
@gabriel4u It's not going to be easy but you've tried your best in this situation. You could go back to her and demand a reason, put her in a tight corner but I'll say 'if you love sumn, let it go, if it comes back to you, it's yours'. GB102: y me:Come on guys, the matter here is his relationship and not his written English. At the end of the day, I still got his drift and I don't see any reason why you guys are swapping the topic's priorities. |
Kobojunkie:So basically you have nothing reasonable to say and your 'Nigerians' comment is the best thing you can come up with?? |
Kobojunkie:So if you knew that, why did you say this Kobojunkie:?? |
Kobojunkie:As I said, I didn't read the roadmap you wrote on how to change the mentality of Nigerian leaders and how to rid them of their corruption, but I do know that the most important to do in this case is to step up the sanctions we've applied before now. You don't need a honest government to stop yourself from being slapped in the face. Now if you're going to go into one of your 'I have a dream' speeches, then please don't quote me and say 'Nigerians' without actually saying anything else that actually makes sense. |
Kobojunkie:Just because it's not working doesn't mean they have to go scot free for their actions. . . how can that not make sense to you?? Feels like I'm speaking to a wall here. I do not care how much they've put into our economy, they've done sumn wrong and they should be punished for it. This is not some strategic roadmap or anything, it's simple common sense. As I said, will the UK Government consider letting Sir Alan Sugar evade taxes because he creates jobs?? |
jason12345:The easiest way to stop the fairy tales is to tell the true story, not from the anti-Biafra perspective but from the Nigerian perspective. War is the single most important event in many countries of the world, just because we're scared of it doesn't mean we shouldn't tell the story. Not teaching it in school is robbing the future kids of their right to know our history, isn't that worse than the minor teasing they get?? |
debosky:Ahh . . . sorry then, maybe I didn't get the memo. ![]() Anyways, we've got this vigil in our Church this week . . . my G.O Reverend Apostle Primate Archbishop Pastor Woli James Prosperity Daniel (GCFR) is laying hands today. Prayer request na £50, team success £100 . . . You're all invited. ![]() |
? 11 ke? add several years to that. oh dear. I am definitely not that young o. spikey plz don't listen to dayokanu he's just fooling around (as usual smh). I'm way older than you probably think. dayokanu why? I graduated HS many years ago and i'm definitely not 15 or a teenager for that matter. tufiakwa
Aiite . . . let's make this easy.Hi. . . I'm El, big fan. . .how old are you?? ![]() |
@debosky There's no guarantee, yep . . . but what I'm saying is I'd rather we had Schalke than Madrid, any day. I nor dey follow una do alagbara Mile 12. Bout Mourinho, it's happened before, that was just an extreme . . . especially in competitions like the World Cup. At the end of the day, they didn't decide that he was only getting half of the trophy because he beat Monaco and not AC Milan or did they give Chelsea a wooden FA Cup last season?? My point is, we should all be going on fasting and prayer now to pray that we get the easy teams instead of forming Rambo. ![]() |
@dipo2much Porto beat only one top team(That's if we count a Beckhamless, Ronaldoless Man Utd as a top team) on their way to winning the 2003 UCL, do people bring that up when they talk about how many UCLs Mourinho has won?? You can stay there and beat Madrid on the way to the Final, me I want Wolverhampton if possible, I don't care bout beating the big boys. slimshay:See it like this, in the FA Cup, you get whatever luck Noel Gallagher picks for you . . . in UEFA, you get a lil control over your luck. Winning your group means you less likely to face Real Madrid or Barca. |
debosky:Even if we're not good enough, we can escape major tests as much as we can. Many teams have won tournaments by just breezing through minnows till the semis. . . an example is Chelsea that played only one EPL team before Portsmouth in last year's FA Cup. |
@Debosky It doesn't make any difference, but it just means that we're more likely to last in the competition, which is a big factor to me. Why should I beat out the big teams when Roma can?? It's easier to beat Schakle-Tottenham-Barcelona than Barcelona-AC Milan-Madrid, and believe me, I'd rather we lost out in the semi-finals than second round. I don't know if you enjoy watching United and Chelsea. @Slimshay The El-Classico is not just any game, because we did 'better' against them don't mean ish. |
dipo2much:You know why teams are seeded?? So that the Barcelonas and Arsenals don't meet each other in the second round. But Arsenal has started this thing where they want to qualify on the last day by force. . . and this is a punishment for us. The second round should be a walkover like the group stages, but we know how Arsenal roll, we're so used to the bad luck in the FA Cup that we created this one for ourselves. |
Now one question I'll need to ask is . . . why does our frontline look like Van Persie VS Chamakizzle?? When the fullbacks give crosses, it's like a big debate between both of them on who should take the header. Van Persie's completely stolen Chamakh's right to roam in the box and I don't know how Wenger plans to do it. The fact that VP likes to slide in those thru balls doesn't help either, it's like a deliberate attempt to make Chamakh look bad. In my own opinion, since Fab 4 is still not back yet, Nasri should play his role, Van P plays on the right where he chooses whether to cross or come into the box. I think it works better that way. . . I'm tired of seeing Sagna's new crossing ability waste because we're not putting our best head in the box. |
ahf:Damn . . . |
@Slim It's not straight up defensive mentality, it's the defensive mentality plus other things JM didn't have at Chelsea, like the break as you rightly said and the Ronaldo moments of Ronaldoness. ![]() Besides you don't really get the defensive mentality, it's the fact that players like Gudjohnsen and Drogba learnt how to defend properly, yesterday . . . our CBs were torn between who to attack the player with the ball and who to attack the threatening players, that's not a problem for Mourinho on an average day . . . defenders stand rigid, everyone else tackles. Don't get me wrong, we play the right kind of defending for a team that has fast defenders and wants to attack . . . but even in the attacking part of it we're not better than Madrid, kama puro kama jale. And then there's the problem of why anyone would want us to play Madrid when we don't have our right-back. |
debosky:I want us to go as far as we can in the UCL, but does it make sense playing Barcelona if we could easily play sum losers from Germany?? debosky:What evidence?? You should watch the La Liga more often. . . as I said, El Classico is a one-off, they played a different game that day. Ramos is not a weakness, he's arguably the best right back in the world . . . and he's so good that he plays CB and he's excellent at that too. And don't let me even talk about his ability to go forward and be a threat . . . he ships in more crosses than most wingers I know. Madrid's defence is one of the best in Europe . . . debosky:As I said, it was more Mourinho's defence than Chelsea's, he was years ahead of the rest of the premiership with his defensive mentality. He was playing Tiago and Makalele with Lampard in the middle of a 4-5-1/4-3-3. It was so new to the Premier League that every manager was complaining . . . now everyone does it. This defensive mentality is the one thing Wenger has never been able to overcome, I don't think he can do it against a team that has that with an extra attacking advantage. |
^^^^ God know's me I'm no dey for this mawoju ushe talk . . . I want easy people like Shackle abi weting be their name. The EPL is my main concern this year, I don't want us resting key players because we need to play Madrid on Tuesday, that almost cost us a UCL spot every year. BTW. . . Pepe is probably the best defender in Spain right now, just because they shipped in goals at Nou Camp don't mean shit. . . it's only because it's against the law to use negative tactics in an El Classico, ask anyone that follows the La Liga. In fact that's the first time I've ever seen Mourinho playing a high line. Marcelo, Pepe, Carvalho, Ramos is as good as it gets. There was nothing special about the Chelsea defense apart from the defensive mentality of the team, and that's not left Mourinho. And now he has attacking players like Ronaldo . . . this is even better than what he had at Chelsea abeg. |
spikedcylinder:Are you kidding me?? ?? ?? ?? I had a discussion with her about 80s music and she made one comment that made me think I was talking to my mum. I think she said. . . 'yeah . . . I see where you're coming from, every Nigerian teenager has a phase where all they listen to is hiphop music, nice to see that you've outgrown that' or sumn ![]() I'm officially an Oyinda fan. |
slimshay:All that one na yarns . . . the boys will beat any team in the world if they go full throttle, but Mourinho does not need to be on full throttle to beat Wenger. Me I don talk am, I don't want Barca or Madrid . . . I don't want us working hard right from Second Round abeg. |

people like ezeuche, matazzagi and co already hate nigeria because of the fairy tale story passed on to them by their fathers, then imagine 10 million of them harbouring the same level of hatred
