RomanceRe: Do I Look Too Old? by ell77(f): 8:48pm On Aug 12, 2007
@poster - you do not look old but your skin does look dehydrated and tired, i hope you do not take offence as I do not mean to insult you, in fact I have had the same problem. Here are some tips

1. Drink plenty of water and avoid alcohol, cigarettes and caffeine (in coffee and many fizzy drinks), like the plague
2. Wear a broad rimmed cap to protect your face from the sun
3. Try gentler facial products that don't contain perfume or any unecessary ingredients (you may have skin sensitivities) if possible make it as natural and organic as possible - tea tree is a good antiseptic and aloe vera and chamomile are good for soothing upset/tired skin.
4. Keep you face clean at all times but don't scrub or use alcohol/dettol/fragranced products, it is unlikely you need moisturiser in nigeria because of the hot weather and you appear to have combination/oily skin.
5. Take multivitamins if possible or at the very least increase your fish intake this contains omega oils, Omega oils are proven to impove skin elasticity - it is also found in flax seed oil and soya.
6. Relax more
7. Stay away from bleaching products melanin is the black man's saviour and no amount of yellow baby is worth looking like a wrinkled prune

Hope this helps, it has helped others and even myself but really I think you just look at most 5 years older so don't let it worry you too much. From what i have heard it is not uncommon for ladies to chase youger guys nowadays anyway, in nigeria. You should start to complain when you approach an older woman and she rejects you because she thinks ur not worthy.
PoliticsRe: Do Nigerians Abroad Have A Role To Play In 2007 ? by ell77(f): 8:31pm On Aug 12, 2007
There are a lot of Nigerians abroad who only think of stealing from Nigeria but there are many more who want to be proud of their country and happy to visit or live there and are even planning on ways to help.

Yes many abroad are not so rich and the ones who are, are often dismayed by corruption and anti-diasporanism.

That won't stop me though, I was born and raised abroad so I can't do anything about that and if you want to hate me for that . . . hate me. It is more a reflection on you than myself.

I plan to live in Nigeria, despite being an Ajebota! And not to rub money in people faces or floss (there are many who are more wealthy than me there anyway), but to contribute to the economy and be in the midst of my people.

Politics has alot to play in the economy of Nigeria, but many fail to realise it is private investors/companies that will be the key to any countries success - including UK and US! There are many indians, japanese and white people investing in nigeria which is good in the short term as it brings jobs, but in the long term it is better for Nigerians in the Diaspora to return as i believe you are less likely to be discriminated against. Imagine a white person refusing you a job in your own country simply because you are black (yet you can't get visa in their country). People replied this post with anger, hatred and negativity and whilst I understand the reasns why, this is not healthy and generalised comments were made. I myself plan to build business (and therefore jobs) as well as charities in Nigeria. All thats left now is money, and i can tell you, i am almost there so pray for those in Diaspora that they will have enough moeny and good conscience to profit Nigeria and we will pray for the Nigerians in Nigeria to be able to do the same!

Peace and love my brothers and sisters

Car TalkRe: How To Save Money On Fuel (car Owners) by ell77(f): 7:26pm On Aug 12, 2007
CHOOSING YOUR CAR WISELY IS A GOOD IDEA! Many people have cottoned on to the 'fuel efficient car' idea!

For sale . . . the exceptional . . . Mazda Millenia

The Millenia has been praised for its exceptional fit and finish, and the Millenia S is the only car sold in America to feature the Miller-cycle engine, a supercharged piston power plant that is much more fuel efficient than its 210-horsepower rating might suggest. The Millenia competes in the very crowded near-luxury segment and considered by many to be a luxury car in its own right, where its flowing lines set it apart from the competition.

This SILVER car is available for sale in Lagos and is priced at an amazing NGN 900,000 (less than a third of its real cost in the USA)! This is indeed fantastic value for money and I promise you, it will be a struggle to find a better offer elsewhere for such a prestigious car. Still, astonishinly there may be some possibilities for minor price negotiations upon viewing this car.

For more details and to arrange to view this luxurious auto, please contact me on ell7heaven@yahoo.co.uk and enter into your email the subject title MAZDA MILLENIA. Or alternatively, post your details on this thread. More details will be added shortly, in the mean time a sample picture of the type of car is included below (not actual photo - this will come shortly).

We look forward to hearing from you!

PropertiesRe: Reasons Why People Do Not Wish To Buy A Home In Nigeria by ell77(op): 10:14am On May 29, 2007
@Disguy. I did consider that but there is a good reason for it. The two different topics will lead two two separate solutions and I did not want to combine the two. You see people in general would rather complain than say what they would like to have when they no there is no money to obtain that thing at the moment. So I felt if I put a broad question. People would use that topic to describe why they won't go to Nigeria and I would be none the wiser as to what people would like in a home in Nigeria. They are two separate questions. The question onthe other topic is more business driven. This topic is more infrastructure/socioeconomic driven. I can easily come up with a list of reason myself why people would not want to go to Nigeria. I don't need to research that necessarily but as to what people would like in a home, it is harder to guess percentage wise.

Thanks for the suggestion though and u don't have to post here unless you would not buy a house in Nigeria even if you had money. All will become clear soon. I know it appears vague. But I am not asking for money, only your preferences if you could write one line in the other page which has a link in this topic I would really appreciate it.

Thank you.

Please check out my post. I am doing research so that I will soon give mortgage and real estate opportunities to people who want to buy a home in Nigeria, both abroad and in Nigeria. The rates and prices will be clear when I start it. But first I need to research the property market. this is only my preliminary research. I am trying to make a change!

In Magodo-Shangisha 700sq metres is standard. Not sure of all of lagos though or why it is considered standard-perhaps standard as in this is the size of land the average hoem owner required so anything less is small and anything more is large.
