Fed poly offa held their 15th SUG election on 13th of July 2016.
Read what our source disclosed to us:-

“Reformation movement has been ruling the school for the past four years but the last SUG president lead by comrade Imran Olalekan a.k.a Success was the one who destroyed the Reformation Movement..
Unfortunately for them Students came out in masses to vote for Libration Movement and they claimed all the post 15-0 … Students of fedpoffa were very happy they vote for the change but sadly a fight which we don’t know the cause of it came up between two cultists group and they’ve started killing one another”.

Hi,

Please check for our customer care nos on the net and put a call across I assure you you will be attended to. More so I hope you know that every transaction aboard attracts interest rate not at CBN rate? Rather it's prevailing market rate so in doing your conversion kindly take note of that.

Also note that your conversion should be in dollars and not dubai currency. As dollar is the international currency of transaction.

Hi

Good thinking. The only solution is for the market to be flooded with dollar, unfortunately the truth is we dont earn enough as a country to have flooded the market. So the ultimate solution is for you and i to go back to farm and produce something that will be worthy of selling abroad so we can earn more dollar then without govt intervention dollar will crash like domino. Health / Re: Asthmatic Patient Escapes Death In Port-Harcourt (Photos) by enilowo(m): 8:43am On Feb 16, 2016
I am asthmatic and wish to add that the inhaler might not have finished, it could be that he is not been cleaning the feeder. Mwssage to all asthmatic patient is to always use lukewarm water to rinse the feeder. And to always declare there situation whenever they find themselves in a new place.
springtech:
It happened this evening at around 4:45 pm today 15-02-16 at EMMANUEL SHOPPING COMPLEX opposite diamond bank Rumuokwurusi Port Harcourt.

The young man had a crisis inside the complex and was quickly carried to a good location outside the complex where he could have fresh air. I guess as soon as he had the crisis he indicated that he has an inhaler, as I saw a young man struggling to administer the device on him. However due to ignorance/inexperience he struggled without success. He kept positioning the inhaler in the nose area, kept pressing but nothing came out even though the patient kept opening his mouth to receive the gas.

The more time was wasted, the more the patient was loosing strength and at a point he did not move again.
However someone suggested we buy a new inhaler, and luckily there was a pharmacy very close by. In less than one and a half minute we got the inhaler.

Then someone shouted from inside, put it in his mouth, as soon as we did. The guy got strength from no where, jacked up and threw up everything blocking the airways.

Almost immediately he wanted to stand up, but we had to assist him to sit down and rest against the wall. Then the young man requested for water.

You can see him drinking the water. Showing he is now very conscious.

Trust me, if we had not gotten a new inhaler, if we had kept administering the inhaler in his nose instead of the mouth, I doubt if he would have made it.

But thanks be to God who helped us to revive this young man.

Note: Experience would have told us that the inhaler had been fully exhausted hence no gas was forth coming, as the part being pressed
remained stiff.
The inhaler was meant to be administered in the mouth and not in the nose.

With this experience, I strongly recommend that asthmatic patients move around with a new inhaler in addition to the one they are currently using, in case the old one finishes, the new one would be handy and highly useful should any crisis arise.

Do you have a similar experience you would like to share or medical experts in this house, lets add a bit to this so as to help this campaign.

Please, I beg the moderators, lets help to raise this awareness.

Lol.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: My Interview Experience With A Banking Firm by enilowo(m): 4:22pm On Jan 12, 2016
AltarBoy1:
Pardon my typo and formats, na small phone I dey use.

I have been contemplating whether to create this thread or not, cos my experience was kinda embarrassing for me. But lo and behold, I was shortlisted for the next stage. So I decided to share this just so that others will pick a point or two from it (thats if there is any).
I made it to the interview stage after two tests. So as usual, I got myself prepared for the interview, researched about the company, got answers to some possible interview questions.
Fast forward to the venue of the interview, I met some other candidates at the gate. Some were with their jotters, rehearsing their answers while others are just whining away time. So I just walk up to one girl that was standing alone to chat up with her before the interview start.

Few minute later, they called in the first person. After about 20 min, they called in the second person. Then next they called me in
The panel was made up of 3 people, a lady with two other men. From what I later gathered, the lady is the zonal MD and the two men were from the HR department.
After sitting down, they requested for my documents and photocopies, which I presented to them. They were all quiet, scanning through my documents until the lady spoke up.
Lady: Can you give us one good reason why you graduated with 2.2
Me: *Silent for a while* Plz repeat the question.
Lady: *Repeats*
Me: Well, there is no excuse for failure in life. If I have to give any excuse, it should be why I made 2.1 or first class against all odds and not why I made 2.2. So I dont think I have any reason to give, even if there is, I wouldnt say it.
Lady: *Silent while looking at me*
Man1: You just said 2.2 is failure, can you tell us why you used that word failure.
Me:*see as I put myself for wahala* Well, technically speaking, I called it failure cos currently in the labor market, 90% of all job vacancy requires 2.1 and above. Its only few that accept 2.2. And giving the population of the unemployed graduates, having a 2.2 is really a disadvantage. Thats why I used the word failure.
Man2: What do you mean by technically?
Me: Conditionally or under a certain condition.
Lady: Now, does it mean that you are technically a failure
Me:*I don F-up with this word wey I use* Technically am not,*can see the smile/laff on their face* If I am, I wont be sitting right in front of you considering the two aptitude tests that one have to scale before been here.
Lady: Maybe luck was on your side.
Me: Luck cant just choose only me among all the 100s of candidates that attended the tests.
Lady: Yes it can
Me: *Silent**in my mind, I was like, e b like say na luck carry you reach this position wey you dey now.*
Man2: Now, tell us why we should hire you?
Me: *smiled**didnt know that the smile was so obvious. So as I was about answering the question, the lady cuts in*
Lady: Why are you smiling?
Me: Nothing ma.
Lady: It cant be nothing, tell us why you are smiling.
Me: *Feeling Scared* Nothing ma, maybe its cos I have a smiling face.
Lady: How can you have a smiling face when you have been boning since you came in here. Even your passport says it all.
Me: *feeling more scared* with due respect ma, its nothing.
Man1: If you dont tell us, I think you should just go so we can call in the next candidate.
Me: *confused and scared, I just decided to say anything* I am smiling because I was expecting that particular question. *decide to add salt and pepper* in fact, we have been rehearsing the answers to this question and some other possible questions outside before I was called in.
Man1: So you already crammed the answers.
Me: Not really.
Man2: Then what/how
Me: Well, I have come up with some possible answer that suits my personality
Man2: And you think that answer is good enough.
Me: *By now, am already confused, so I was just saying anything that comes to my mind* Well, at least its good enough to impress the HR.
Lady: Is that what you think
Me: *Silent*
Man1: Ok, Now answer the question
Me: Well, Let me just say it the way it is in my mind. You should hire me because am not going to fail.
Man2: What do you mean by you are not going to fail.
Me: I have been unemployed for a long time, so if given the opportunity, I will anything that I can to sure that I dont go back to my unemployed status.
*All silent*
Me: things within the banks policy and interest
Lady: Is that the answer you came up with.
Me: No. I dont want to use it again cos its just to speak English and doesnt tell the real me since is something I picked over the net and modified.
Man2: Can we hear it.
Lady: No, just leave him *turning to me* You read chemical engineering, and you want to work in a bank. Are you not trying to go off your career?
Me: Well, even though I have a background in engineering, I do not have a career yet until I gain experience in a particular field, from there I can build my career.
Lady: Do you think you can survive in the bank as an engr.
Me: Engrs are trained to be flexible and adaptive. I believe I can and will succeed in the banking sector. If Mr. XXXX (the current CEO of the bank) and Mrs. YYYYY (one of their senior executive) can succeed, I see no reason why I cant.
Man2: Why are you comparing yourself with them?
Me: Cos they both read a course that has nothing to do with banking.
Lady: Name them.
Me: Electrical Engineering and Microbiology
Man2: So you have the faith that you can do it.
Me: Yes. Plus the fact that I always have luck *grin*.
They just burst out laughing.
Man1: Tell us any three recent happenings in Nigeria or policies by the FG that is affecting the banking industry
Me: TSA, Fight against corruption and drop in oil price.
Lady: Explain them.
Me: *did the little explanation that I can* Summary is that money is leaving the bank
Lady: Go, personnel will get back to you
Naso I begin dey go come dey think say I don f-up Till just last week, I got a text that that I was successful, that they will get back to be for the next stage.
#Godwin

Guy you did not do badly at all as you answered all the question to the best of your ability. See in an interview you are not expected to know all as you are still going to be trained when you get in except you are an experienced hire.

Permit me to inform you that you have a good personality and what employer look for these days is good team player and not an effico that does things for himself alone.

NEWLY INSTALLED COLD ROOM FOR LEASE/RENT

Specifications

Holding capacity: 10 tonnes
Dimension: Length 12ft; Breadth 10 feet; Height 9 ft
Capacity: 5 horsepower

Other specfications

Twin evaporators, Standard condenser unit (made in Germany), Thermostat
Location: Ikotun, Alimosho local government.

LEASE/RENTAL PRICE: NEGOTIABLE. CHECK OUT MY SIGNATURE FOR CONTACT INFORMATION IF INTERESTED

A cold room with the above listed specifications is currently offered for lease/rent. The cold room is located in Ikotun, one of the suburbs in Lagos. It is within close proximity to Ikotun market ( a particularly unique location for poultry, frozen fish and fish feed operators who wish to penetrate not just the ikotun market but also the entire Alimosho market area. Currently, Alimosho ranks as the most densely populated local government in Lagos (with Ikotun as its most populated area). Based on the predominant income class within the local government (the lower middle class and the middle class), there exists a huge demand for cheap source of protein (fish) and also poultry products.
Another unique factor of the cold room is that it is located within an Industrial estate and enjoys constant electricity 24/7.

LEASE/RENTAL PRICE: NEGOTIABLE. CHECK OUT MY SIGNATURE FOR CONTACT INFORMATION IF INTERESTED

LEASE/RENTAL PRICE: NEGOTIABLE. CHECK OUT MY SIGNATURE FOR CONTACT INFORMATION IF INTERESTED

WHO SHOULD BE INTERESTED:

Processed Poultry farmers;
Given the tough stance of the Government on imported frozen chicken, there currently exists a huge gap between demand and supply of poultry products within the Ikotun axis. For now, there's been almost zero penetration of local processed chicken within the ikotun axis. Our cold room, given its strategic location will aid the intending investor in seizing the opportunities that come with being the pioneer entrant into the Ikotun local processed poultry market.

Frozen Fish Operators
If you're a frozen fish operator seeking to expand in into the Ikotun market, then our cold room gives you the strategic edge (based on its very close proximity to the Ikotun market) in winning customers

Fish Feed Operators
If you require your fish feed to be maintained at the right moisture content before selling off to fish farmers, then our cold room is Ideal for you. Personally, I have not encountered anyone who has ventured into this lucrative business in the Ikotun axis and considering the huge number of fish farmers within the ikotun area, I believe an early market penetration would hold a lot of benefits

Juice makers.
If you're a juice maker that's interested in penetrating new markets and serving your intending customers cold chilled drinks or probably storing your concentrates at the optimum temperature, then you should consider leasing the cold room.

Career / Re: The Working Condition At Huawei Nigeria: Reason Behind #HuaweiNigeria On Twitter by enilowo(m): 5:06am On Dec 05, 2015
MissTechy:
For those who are not aware, someone raised an issue on Twitter with regards to the working condition at Huawei, see the tweet pic below.

So I asked a friend who has been working there for some time now to verify these claims and she gave me a breakdown of what has been happening.

ISSUE ONE: THE OFFICIAL WORKING HOURS

According to her, Huawei held a survey where they made employees choose which working hours they'd prefer, the majority of Nigerians selected 8:00 am to 5 pm while the Chinese counterpart chose 8:30 to 5:30 pm. She claims Huawei did this to help deal with the traffic issues.

ISSUE TWO: DINING HOURS

Apparently, Huawei gives a 1-hour break in between work hours but some employees violate their break period hence the reason it was raised in the mail.

See a full mail addressed to all workers.

Now that we have heard the other side of the story, what do you think?

The only issue is that there are no issues at all.

What is Negative here?

Still don't understand her narrative. Some one jumped in front of a fully armed police man, challenging him that he had been pushed, and wanted some sort of apology from the police.

Scene 2: Man was dragged into a waiting vehicle for security reasons.

Scene 3: Kate wanted to intercede, which she eventually did and the man was released, so what is she talking about?

Maybe those with more intelligent, can break this story down to the Nursery level, so I can understand.

My advice to Kate Henshaw. You are an actress, and that is where your power stops.

You are not in any position of authority, and do not make the mistake of being well known, to be the same thing as being well liked or respected.

You have done a nice thing by interceding, so keep it moving and don't go to your page to write as if, the RED carpet should be rolled out for you because, you are Kate Henshaw.

You are dumb. so cos she is an actress she has no right to raise her voice abi? O should I say cos police are in uniform they are above all? that's why rights of pple like u will persistently be trampled upon.
