Ishilove: THAT was Nike Oshinowo?? Wow!!who is nike oshinowo? i think i've heard the name before ^^just googled her they say she's an ex beauty queen I didnt see much news apart from those of her dates after that |
o that my plea is answered and someone harkens to my voice o that my groans be appreciated and embraced with a scream o that the yearnings of my loins be fullfilled and I be granted a choice o that my hands be strengthened when i reach out with glee *checks to ensure he's in literature section* |
I read your write-up, tinged wih a high level of sarcasm on high handedness. Doesnt take a lot to get all the hidden meanings. I guess slaves, gays and other minority groups should have put on their best clothes and sat down convincing people to give them a chance with soft voices and cooking their oppressors best meals and stroking their egos. Maybe you as a black man should have been submissive enough to wait till you are granted freedom to be a human being. Why the apartheid, MLK talks in baptist churches, MLK marches despite being humiliated and watered down with hoses, slave revolts and other struggles to get what you want. O, that aggressiveness should only be restricted to certain groups, as women are seemingly weaker than men, and should stay in the bubble where they are forever. They should be grateful that anyone has let them come so far. They can achieve more if only they will stop being aggressive. *yea, we know how well that has worked*
Interestingly, i get and suuport both the Op's point and yours too I think they work hand in hand to achieve results Something like Martin Luther King and Malcom X (thesis and anithesis) plying into the consciousness of the society like hot knife through butter |
i have a biggie shadow that goes in and out with me but what can be the use of it there's more you'll get to see ![]() |

@op move this to the familly section I feel it would be a better platform to assess your points |
Wendyphil: What a day!!!Assuming the strike is to throw off the yoke of tyranny in the banking sector then great move. It portends a stytem evolution for checks and balance of naked unrestrained and perverted capitalism as is practiced in the Nigerian banking sector |
wow i suddely love the gospel of heaven vs hell it seems to keep otherwise undisciplined people in check |
@ogedanny [s]Ikorodou is far naw do u have any seminar closer to Maryland or VI? [/s]Just found out that ikorodu is not same as ikorodu road I'm sure gonna try attending |
@ OP 25th reunion? abeg restructure the story small, just small ![]() But I am interested in the SAP one ooooo |
umh she slapped him with her left hands? ![]() ok.. she is left handed she withdrew her hands rather quickly too people in the backgrond had only taken about 3 steps when the entire action had been completed and everything looked normal again apart from the guy |
salsera: @tsmithHey LaCasera ![]() How u dey naw? Hope ur pushing through in the UK |
Pls make una no vex for the judges i am beginning to suspect that the judges have decided to catch them young before they get into government house and the judges become powerless to stop them ![]() |
Fhemmmy: Good that is all that my argument has been all about . . . Cos based on the topic, Nigeria is almost ready and all those that are ready with it will be the next to smile.Amen |
Fhemmmy: But do you agree with me that, with constant electricity to take care of the project, good roads to move all service and instruments to make it happen, good health system to take care of the employees and safety will enhance business operation in Nigeria?Sure it will But sha, by then profit wont be that easy anymore (demand and supply thingz) i look forward to such infrastructural future sha Hope my pubics dont grey before then *looks down and sighs* |
Fhemmmy: Great analysis, but if the simple amenities were there, we MIGHT have started another telecom called FhemmTel . . .Nope The present telecoms built their infrastructures themselves while others (Vodacom et al) waited for everything to be perfect So FhemmTel would have to roll up its sleeves and get dirty ![]() that is the Nigerian dream my friend |
Lets use Airtel Prima Garnet/scanad scandal as an example 1) organisations have to give you the contract -Airtel rooting for Scanad 2) why would they give you the contract? - Airtel is indian, Scanad is indian, there might be some fillial connection 3) People/government would not be allowed to kill your business -prima Garnet is being pushed out to make way for Scanad 4) Why would they not be allowed to kill your business? - This is where the game of thrones begins |
Fhemmmy: You have a point, but dont have to only fall within that category to make it happen, that could facilitate it, but not limited to itNope u dont have to But it kinda tells u the ingredients needed to successfully pull it off 1) organisations have to give you the contract 2) why would they give you the contract? 3) People/government would not be allowed to kill your business 4) Why would they not be allowed to kill your business? |
Fhemmmy: I am not sure i agree with that lineSee my post above for very practical scenario. If you're business savvy and from havard, contact me and I'll push you past the doorkeepers at a price ![]() |
^^^ How is this? someone might ask. Here's a scenario You the Nigerian Harvard alumni develop a rigorous busines case and and present to investors Investors (including Goldman sacchs top dogs) are accessible to you thanks to your alumni network You seek for an audience with Olusegun Aganga -Minister for trade and investment He is more than happy to meet with you. You're havard, and his Godlman sacchs coleagues have recomended you to him He meets with you and assures you of his support You and your team are invited to series of business meetings with heads of Shell, Etisalat, Airtel, MTN in attendance Everyone talks about how this is CSR or something like that -giving Nigerians a chance at the pie You get the contracts The government ensures that the government does not kill your dreams and make Nigeria look bad You and your team smile to the bank and give seminar speeches on "tapping into the untapped reserves of African talent -HBR case study" |
Outsourcing can be very successful in the nigerian market three things are needed 1) Large investment 2) Contacts (governmental/regulatory and private sector handshake) 3) Brainy business model The type of nigerian group that can easily pull these three off are a bunch of harvard trained alumni with dady's in gov. ![]() Most other entrepreneurial types might need to do a lot of fasting and tithing to break through |
ayobase: That shouldn't worry you....deal with the info first!I first dealt with the info before making my comments ![]() (although i dont see why I shld follow your prescribed pattern) And what makes you think he aint the author!-great if he's the author and nice of him to share what he shared in the Campus site here -terrible if he's not. Anyone that spends valuable time thinking and then penning down will certainly understand this |
@Op except you're the author of the original post you should not do something as silly as copying and pasting someone elses post without referencing them that is very unintellighent by the way |
1. Minimize Television Watching
Nope. dont agree. It depends on what you're watching, and how it aligns with your goals 2. ExerciseI know its been proven to be great for sex drive. I dont know about intelligence improvement 3. Read Challenging BooksVery true 4. Early to Bed, Early to Rise –It might me important to seperate the sleep-needs of your body from that of ones tendency to lazy into a sleeping mode 5. Take Time to Reflect –extremely important |
Her movie was quite daring Its not worse than many other hollywood films |
Qkeyxyz: There are two versions of Jesus:^^^ Great But the logic remains that as long as anyone accepts that Mary is the mother of God, then it is only fair that the person should also accept other members of the God familly Foster father of God, brothers and sisters of God, nephew and nieces of God ,.. etc |
