I wouldn't want a fellow man's career or hustle to be ruined. But the fact is that we are not saints (as the OP also admitted) so we would also like to know how he contributed to the problem. The woman is not here to defend herself and all the OP could say is "I'm not saint". Well, his wife is also not a saint. I was expecting a more objective story. He's the one telling the story and surely, he'll tell it in way that leaves him with little or no blame; that's human nature. But on the other hand, that defeats the aim. If he wants to get sincere advice, he should try to be as less biased as possible. It's not very likely that his wife, who was loving at a point, is just out to destroy him now that she is abroad. Even bad wives still want successful husbands. Something must have triggered her actions and letting us in on those areas would help us come up with better solutions. But instead, he's telling a story of a villain and her victim. Of course, we will all ask him to leave the woman. So I see this as him asking for moral support for what he already wants to do.

We men should understand that this is not Nigeria and therefore family structures can never be like Nigerian. Couples work together to sustain their homes. In some cases, the wives even work later hours. In such a case, for instance, it becomes illogical to expect the wife to serve you dinner and breakfast as she used to do in Nigeria. This is just an example, I'm not saying that's OP's case.

Lol... but opening an Instagram account for her does not mean she lacks good education and proper upbringing. She's clearly not the one operating the account. Unlike other SMN, Instagram is just a repository of pictures which she can access at a later time when she's old enough. There was a time we kept hard copy pictures of our kids and showed them off to visitors and later to the kids when they grow up. Then we moved on to storing the pics on our devices and letting people view them on the gallery apps; a better option that occupies less physical space and more easily shared. Now, we have online albums like Instagram which takes no space on our devices. Technology keeps evolving but the end goal remains the same: take pictures of our young loved ones, show them off to people and then later to the them when they are of age.

I don't know why Nigerians like to tell strangers how to live their lives. Live and let live provided no one is getting hurt.

Lol... A good deal of Nigerian doctors have not come in contact with any corona patient. But yeah, there are other sick people who need their attention too. You are missing it bro. Nobody is asking Africa not to do it's own process. In fact, WHO is asking Africa for empirical studies results other than just saying it works. Africa cannot produce that and that is why they want to come themselves Every country that's a WHO member states does the same. They all subject their findings to WHO. It's not about the West but about the body. It's either you are a member or you're not. If you are, follow the scientific process. Even in the absence of WHO, in this modern age, drugs are no longer mass produced on the bases of 'it may work'. That could be solving a problem with another cause some drugs have generational effects. Any country that imports such drugs that did not pass all the required stages is simply endangering her citizens.

Let me ask you this, how many renowned scientists from Madagascar (or even Africa) have come out to say "yes, this drug works"? None. You know why? Cause in the absence of clinical trials, no scientist - black or white - will have such confidence. Let's get our shit together.
