ETRANGE !!!!! Congrats bro...C'est vraiment merveilleux.

So very happy for you. Thank you so much for starting this thread & for taking time to look over my work.....(notice the space between your name and the point d'exclamation)....still gonna make you proud las las....working on it.

I leave you with this Irish prayer:

May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His Hand.

A bientot ! ....nous les quebecois cool

Now the toasting (Ifeoma77) can be face to face....no more long distance grin
Oh Jeez! You got me all emotional!

Thanks a lot dear. Thank you much!

Yes, I saw the space and I knew right away you called my name in French. Lol. I also saw your result! Wow! That was awesome! Asides the luck aspect of exams, I'd say you have a solid French base!

I'm so so sorry wasn't there all through. I was getting depressed by the wait and decided to stay away from anything Canada. That was the best I could do for my own sanity. I'm glad to see that the TEF flag never went down. Y'all are amazing!

Aww.. What a way to announce this! Your are truly étrange and it felt so strange yesterday night when having you drift from the sister TEF thread into this only to drop an unusual but amusing enquiry reminiscent of newbies. Lol.. Moreso, Stencil came in to make light of the whole stuff followed by Johnny... So happy to hear this news. It's made a gloomy night and offered me hope..

You guys have been so wonderful. Most people are on here not saying much but indeed know you all and your worth and appreciate your efforts at giving back to these forums.

Congrats once more. We pray prosperity on all facets for you and yours in the new land. Btw, your TEF result is indeed enviable. I saw Mamaroon's earlier as well. You guys are such role models to upcoming lads like us. Please keep these up.

Hoping to read PPR gists from the rest of the gurus soon too.

Cheers et félicitations !
grin grin grin

I'm called etrange for a reason though not many know the meaning. Lol.

Thank you so much for the kind words.

Best of luck in your TEF preparation. Remember, l'etude de la langue française n'est pas seulement pour réussir à l'examen TEF. Ça va te servir aussi quand tu arrives au Canada puisque le pays est bilingue. I therefore beseech you to put in your best and we will be here to celebrate you at the end!

As for Mamaroon, that one is a force to reckon with!

People, gather! Everyone!

It's PPR announcement!

My name is etrange and I've gotten my PPR! Here is my timeline:

TEF: 27th October, 2018 (Result B2, B1, C1, C1)
IELTS: 1st December, 2018 (Result 8878)
WES: 7th January, 2019
ITA: 10th January, 2019
AOR: 5th March, 2019
MEP: 18th April, 2019
BIO: 26th April, 2019
PPR: 18th September, 2019

I will be back with my PPR script. Meanwhile, I'd like to thank everyone, both the oldies and the newbies! The thread frontliners, my Whatsapp group members, my TEF family (les quebecois cool), etc., y'all have been extremely helpful to be honest. One thing I believe is, provided your application is complete and sincere, time is the highest it can take! As for those doing one thing or the other to get ITA, please do not give up. Hang in there, the end goal is worth it. The feeling is indescribable. I woke up every one hour to check my mail again just to convince myself it was not a dream!

Happily ever after with Ifeoma77

Stencil:
Hi Etrange.
Welcome to the forum. I am happy to let you know that the process is now very simple.
No IELTS, No WES, No CRS.

You only have to send $3,105.89 (bitcoins only) to my bitcoin address and you'd get your citizenship (you skip PR) in 3 weeks.
When you get to the Canadian airport, tell them Stencil sent you, they will know what it means.

PS: How is the wait? Any ghost updates? PPR? COPR? How are you coping without ifeoma77? grin
Me, cope without Ifeoma77? Is that remotely possible? Even Ralph had to do something eventually grin

As for the rest of your questions, I'm coming...

Cause they don't know that working for someone is working for yourself. You render services and get paid just similar to what they do. They work for their clients.

The funny thing is that our own version of entrepreneur is a trader. Lol.

Phones › Re: Weirdest Thing You Have Caught Your Friend Doing With Your Phone? by etrange:
I can't remember. For some reasons, I don't give my phone to people. Lol.

But I can remember the weirdest I've done with someone else's phone. Years ago, I was still in secondary school. I sneaked into my cousin's room as she was sleeping at night, took her phone and went to the sitting room to chat on Facebook with online babes who thought I was a grown up. Not long after I'd gone deep into the chat, I noticed I wasn't alone in the sitting room anymore so I faced the phone screen towards the door and there she was fuming in anger! She quickly grabbed the phone from my hand and guess what, I hadn't logged out from the chat! There was no way I was gonna let her see how far I'd gone inside life so I decided to put up a fight grin

I shaa over powered her, took the phone, logged out and apologised from the heart of my bottom. cry

Her parents were originally Nigerians, I guess. Canadians and Americans have their differences but they do not go about it the way she did. The escalation was way too fast. Even her initial statements was divisive. It's apparent she's taken her bigotry from Nigeria to the Americas. Hope the western world (especially Canada) won't regret opening their doors to us in the future.

Just saying ....

You people are always in competition mode.
But why the comparison in the first place? Why the need to measure up? Such things are bound to bring the kind of responses you're seeing here.

I love women who are never ashamed to flaunt what they love.

Rihanna clearly loves preeq & flaunts it anyhow.

However, same can't be said of Linda Ikeji.
Nigerian women preach against what they love most.

Hypocrites!
If they do, you call them olosho. If they don't, you call them hypocrites.

It is well.

That is because a lady would have pushed the other party away immediately. You cannot stand there like a tree and expect us to believe you were abused. What kind of excuse is "because eyes were fixed on him"? He was trying to fit into the societal description of what a man should do and yet expect the same society call it an abuse. Next time, let him push her away like a lady would have done then it will be clear he was not enjoying it. There was no sign he didn't consent to this one.
