Romance › Re: EXPOSED! The Real Truth About Nigerian Women That Men Are So Scared To Admit by Expresswriter: 9:36pm On Feb 02, 2021 |
ngoziwrites: Oh really? Now you are going to shout on the roof tops about how Nigerian Women are useless? Just before then, should I tell you the story of my mum? Helen.
My mum is actually older than my dad with 3 years and she is submissive till the end of forever. She is a nurse while my dad sells tyres, obviously richer than him yet she serves him his food and packs his plate everyday! She pays our fees, buys all the food and she and my dad built our family house together. She pays the bills! She grinds!
Oh really! Now before you make my eyes get teary again with your slang "Nigerian women have nothing to offer", Let me tell you the story of my Aunt in her late 20's. She is the bread winner! She feeds the family, she even married as a virgin! Guess what? She is highly unhappy in her marriage, her hubby cheats like a fish!
Now before you tell me, that's the old generation, let me tell you about my friends: You want to know about the times we have cried because we really want to achieve our dreams so bad? Should I tell you about Upali? My best friend, at the age of 25, she is the one taking care of her family. She pays her siblings school fees. She just renewed their rent at home! Every night she has to listen to her father funny story: "No money"
Okay, now, I am starting to get emotional, this is where I would love to tell you about Aunty Esther, a woman down my street. She is the bread winner of her family! Guess what she does? House maid! And the husband? He sits at home like the boss and she brings him food to eat.
Oh , my mum, once again, mama Ejima! I pray you reap the fruits of your labor. She grinds hard!
Oh please, now I know what you are about to say next "Marriage benefits only women. Women have nothing to offer"
Then I must tell you about the story of my friend; Feyi, recently married and the man lost his job. She doubled her hustle! She stood by him! She made him start a business with her own savings! They are doing okay now.
I know women that grind. I have lived very close to guys. They bring girls to their house everyday; these girls cook, clean and these guys even borrow money from these girls.
Now, you can imagine the huge fist I make when I hear them mocking these girls.
Should I tell you my friend; Gift. At 29, she is hustling and contented with her boyfriend even if he isn't financially stable.
All of the girls I have interacted with; school, service and area. They all grind. Esther my friend just got married while doing her masters abroad.
Bose, who stays on my street hustles really hard despite getting pregnant without a marriage.
Oh please! Should I tell you about Iya Ade in front of my house. What won't this woman sell; Kerosene, Water, Vegetables just to take care of the family.
And my twin sister? She is proudly in love with her boyfriend, she has never sent a dime to her. He is currently out of jobs, she borrowed 7k from me last month just to send to him.
Or Theresa my cousin, 25 years old. She is doing fine with her boyfriend! She brings out the best in him, oh please, don't give me that look, he lives in a self-con with no car or iPhone! She loves him! She supports his business!
I am surrounded by girls that grind! Girls that hustle! Girls with big dreams, even Akudo is about to continue her education abroad.
Olosho? Bone straight? Married men? The craze over iPhone? Take these away from me! I can't relate! (Yeah, If you read this like a scream, I actually screamed)
Me? At 24, I grind! I buy my things. iPhone, bone straight, expensive clothes; I have none of these but I have mind-blowing ideas.
I can't stand small conversations and I believe in submissiveness and loyalty.
So, Where are y'all seeing the crazy girls?
It's raining blue, black here in the girl's world and yet none of y'all is seeing it?
This QUESTION begs for an answer: Where are you all meeting the bad girls that have broken you?
So many girls out these grind! So many women out there are actually the bread winner of their families.
There are definitely bad girls as there are bad boys.
ADVICE: The problem is you, open your eyes.
I am grinding my head out here! I want to double my salary, start my business, take care of my mum, my dad, my siblings and yes, I want to LOVE that special man hard.
You men see a pit, you run into it and then come out to cry!
There are countless good women out there, if you can't point to just one single person then I am forced to ask:
What do you stand for? What are your values? What do you look for in a woman?
#MyPenBleeds! #NgoziWrites I need a good woman like you in my life. How can we interact? |

JidennaJason: Women are not left out as well...
I remember when I had some issues at the office, I went to meet our Area secretary who I thought was a "God-fearing" married woman to help me clear the financial mess up, she smiled and said; "It's a little challenge Jason, I can help you reconcile the account but I want us to make love"
I thought she was joking, but the lady was serious.
I had to explain to my boss the error I made and wait for my punishment instead of furcking a married woman. End time wives. Tufiakwa!!! |

Tell her openly that you don't want to offend her husband by being too close to her.
That you feel concerned he may be angry but won't say it openly.
Period.
Start saving your salary for a business in case you'd have to leave that job.
Don't pretend like you don't know that that lady is a Delilah.
Probably, she sleeps with other men outside and now she wants to add you to the list because of your good looking qualities: height and all.
Avoid her, POLITELY. |

Literature › Is Lettersinc.com.ng Legit? by Expresswriter(op): 6:40pm On Oct 24, 2020 |
So I applied for their vacancy -- lettersinc.com.ng for the position of a Content Writer. They mailed me saying I passed the test & that they'll like me to work for them on the condition that: 1.) I undergo training with a reputable training organization on content writing. And that after this training I should report back to them with proofs that I underwent the training: a. Certificate of training b. Payment receipt That they'll refund me my money. It doesn't look professional to me. Note I can choose any training organization of my choice according to them. I've been writing for years. If they want me to undergo a training to suit their corporate flair or editorial voice then they should have a uniform training organization for all their prospecting staff and they should pay the training fees to show genuineness. If it's not a scam they're after then they're just a bunch of time wasters-- that's what I suspect. Has anyone had an experience with them? How did it go? I looked them up on Scam Adviser and other scam busting sites online and there's nothing much showing any personal information of those in charge of the company. On their website ( www.lettersinc.com.ng) I couldn't see any personal information too. The name of the Human Resource Manager was in the mail correspondence they sent me. I couldn't see his name on LinkedIn associated to Lettersinc or even on Facebook or other social media websites. Is this real? There's one Letters Inc but they're in Japan and they're a design outfit into architecture & related services. This Nigerian Letters Inc also doesn't have any social media presence. Guess what? The salary is #200, 000 and they want to hire over 100 writers in Nigeria and their domain was just registered last year, 2019! Please, useful personal experience would be highly appreciated. Tell me all, please. Already, it is almost looking as if this isn't genuine but I just want to hear from anyone who has had an encounter with them. Others can learn a thing or two from this thread. Let the comments begin. |

Eight whole years! He abandoned you and now he's back? Why? Because things are not working well for him! My sister, eight whole years!!! What if you had married someone else Will he come back? See, never marry someone out of pity. My candid advice: avoid him. He'll do the same thing tomorrow. You don't deserve such a man. Forget about his school fees sacrifice back then in school. Don't see marriage as a way of helping him back. If you must help him, give him some money if you have. Look for relationship books on marriage and read. Nairaland is not the right place to seek relationship advice. Even me don't take all I say. Consult a relationship counselor also. Don't say you don't have money. This is your life! Your future. Do the right thing. God bless you. |

Ryan03: even after forgiving her, I don't think he should marry such a Girl. I just can't vibe with rude people, even if she loves you now (which I can't seem to wrap my head around), how sure are you that she won't disrespect your family and those around you with this kind of attitude? On point. God bless you. |
Romance › Re: My Past Memories Is Making Me Hate Her And I Want To End It Now by Expresswriter: 8:10am On Jul 23, 2020 |
Can't you read in between the lines that this girl doesn't love you? She came back to you because your value increased in her eyes-- you stopped having time for her and most importantly you were in a relationship. All of that increases the value of men in the eyes of most women. But that's childishness on the part of such types of women. She was jealous you had another woman. She was desperate for attention because you were no longer giving her attention. Somebody called you a goat, and did all those despicable things to you and you want to marry her Are you okay, young man? Never disregard red flags. As you lay your bed so you'll lie on it. The leopard doesn't change its spot. What you saw from the beginning is what you'd see in marriage. That's her true colour. Not the false repentant woman who comes to cook for you and do your laundry. You deserve better. She doesn't deserve you. There are better women out there. Las las, the ball is in your court. Decide wisely. |

Pause the second relationship.
Fast for some days.
Ask God to speak to you.
Read books on marriage.
Hear from God.
It may be the first lady, the second or none of them.
God will speak.
Lastly, read this very well
Read Joyce Meyer's book How to Hear from God.
Be optimistic.
That book will change your life.
