Another reason is the religion factor. Prosperity preachers have changed the mentality of Nigerians so bad, they only focus on miracle wealth so they can afford anything no matter the price as preachers have made them to believe that's the sign of being righteous.

Pls run from it....Electrical and ICT is where the employment is. I studied Mechanical engineering and majored in Industrial production Engineering (IPE) from a good Nigerian uni. No job till now . All the jobs flying around are Electrical Engineering and IT. NOTE: I am at the Location where Engineering trives (PortHarcourt). I also did some other certification courses to add to it under Electro-Mechanical(pumps,valves,HVAC,Actuators,P&ID).
