I have witnessed such. My late aunt was hospitalised at the Matama District hospital Abuja. And I saw first hand how heartless nurses are. They even stole drugs I bought. Their nonchalant attitude led to the passing of my aunt in July this year.

What I just witness today in FMC was truly horrible.
A girl brought her unconscious. Mother to hospital. She was crying and wailing as her mother lay unconscious.

The nurses where busy cracking jokes, some were even laughing at the way the girl was crying.

Oga, what u said is not perculia to nurses or doctors professions alone, but general attitudes of Nigeria's workers on duty. Go to university system and see lecturers that refuse to lecture, go to police station and see how police will reluctant to do his work, what of ministry or even local governments, they only expecting salaries at the end of each month.

Nos, 1. No commusurate renumerations.
Nos,2. Govt not setting up mechanism of monitoring and discpline erring workers.

One thing you have to understand about most pastors these days is that many of them act based on perception and not the by the leading of the Holy Spirit.

If you're coming to marry their spiritual daughter and they don't like you, rather then be completely honest with their so called spiritual daughter that they don't really like you, they'll just tell the ignorant girl that God said you're not her husband. And the foolish girl would end everything you guys have laboured for simply because of one pastor who hasn't contributed a penny to her life.

Sit her down and talk to her, make her understand that it's only her parents who have the right to air their opinion in whoever she wants to marry and not someone who's only connection to her is because she attends his church.
