I have a daughter out of wedlock few years back, when I was pregnant of her I was scared because I had no tangible amount of money in my account. When I finally gave birth to her, money started flowing in. I did a business and I was able to save up to 1million naira in my account. I gave my daughter everything she wanted. I was so happy she came into my life because the favours I was getting was extraordinary.

My mum stayed with me at that time so it was easy for me. At a point, my mum decided to retire to the village. She suggested that I should let her take my daughter with her so that I can get a better job and also get married. She doesn't want my daughter to be an obstruction. I thought about it for a while and I agreed with her.

It's been 3years now. Husband I no see, job I no see, money stopped flowing. Money in account started reducing now I'm so scared of what will become of my financial status. When my daughter was staying with me I was even having suitors then but I couldn't pick because wanted to concentrate on my daughter. Now I'm lonely. My daughter used to cheer me up and keep me active when she was with me.

Today a thought came to my mind saying I should go and bring my daughter back that can't I see she was my good luck charm?

Some people are so wicked and inconsiderate, about 2 months ago in July I packed into a smaller apartment. A room self con. I was broke and going through hard times. I decided to cut my cloth according to my size.

It was empty and sleeping on the floor.
Hunger wan finish man. I was just there with the bag of rice. So I decided to sell it. It was 25kg rice. So many people came to buy it. Some were saying 12k, some 13k.

When this my unfortunate neighbor heard that I want to selling, she came to beg me to sell it for her. 2 of my neighbors actually came.
1 said 12. But this my neighbor said 11k.
But because a room was closer to mine I decided to sell it for her for 11k. Just because of neighbors. I gave her the rice.
Give money turn to problem. She first gave me 5k. She said she will send the remaining in my account. And then that was it. Since then if I call her she will not pick, if text her she will not reply. She has been avoiding me.

It's been 2 months now, money I no see, am a very gentle person why I remained calm. Hoping she will pay.
How do I handle this situation without it turning to quarrel

The thing is it’s like she has made up her mind already, the man also drop her off everyday after work and she stays alone.
Am I overreacting by trying to call it off?

There is no day we talk and she won’t bring this particular guy up in her talks, I’m seriously fed up. Why go on a date with someone if you are in a relationship?

Mothers do majority of childcare and housekeeping and in many cases, also contribute financially. There is no industry or organisation you don't find women working in today. That is outside of petty jobs like trading and hairdressing and tailoring, etc women also do. I don't know where the idea that women don't contribute financially came from.
