Labims:Hello Labims, It's a good idea that her husband won't be accompanying her to Canada because he stands to be a strong tie to her visa application. In her SOP, she can say that she loves her marriage/husband and she cannot jeopardize her marriage on the altar of career pursuits and that is obligatory for her to return to her Martial duties back home as she will terribly miss her beloved husband who always encourages her during the difficult moments of her life, and her aged parents who depend on her for support and also her siblings who are looking up-to her as a mentor etc.. What is the duration of her proposed program in Canada? If she is financially capable, she can certainly be a self-sponsored applicant. Be mindful that she needs to provide documents that would evidence her financial establishment in her home country like employment letters, promotion letters, pay stubs, resume, work I.D, introductory letter from employer detailing her job role, employment start date, amount of salary, etc. and salary bank statement showing proof of inflow and outflow of salaries being paid/depoisted into her account on a monthly basis, landed properties documents (which can be jointly owned by she and her husband), shares certificates(if any), she should also include the CAC certificate of the farm business, and the business invoices. The aforementioned documents will give an edge in her application. The husband can be a co-sponsor to her visa application, for that to be possible, the husband will also include their marriage certificate to show proof of relationship, the daughters birth certificate, his personal bank statements, his source of income documents etc.. In regards the SOP, I saw your PM, I'll respond to your request in a short time. All the best! |
nalizzzy:OTHERS - CAD$ 3,000 |
Asapant:I saw your PM, I'll respond to you soon. |
Safdiva:As instructed by the moderator of this thread, that advertising of third party websites aren't allowed here. I would suggest you do yourself good by checking out people's reviews about some GCMS sites on the internet before ordering from the them. |
Labims:Hello Labims, Having 2 sibling's residing in Canada is a very strong tie to Canada. Therefore, the onus is dependent on the applicant to show sufficient ties to her home country that can compel her return after studies. She has a lot of work to do concerning her home ties compared to an applicant that doesn't have anyone in Canada. Her reasons for coming back must be very rational and well substantiated in her SOP. That being said, it would make a whole lot of sense if the sibling over there in Canada writes an attestation/reference letter addressing it to the consular officer. That the sibling will be responsible for her accomdation, feeding and other miscellaneous expenses incurred by her during her studies in Canada. This at one point will reduce the financial burden for the sponsor. Also, I would advise the applicant father, or hubby to stand as the primary sponsor to her visa application as this will make her application stand out. I wish her the best. |
Ebiwalo101:Hello Ebiwalo101, It's quite unfortunate to hear your application was refused. You may want to check this CIC REFUSAL GROUNDS which has already been discussed on this thread so as to avoid constant repetitive points here. After doing that, you can come back here and ask questions and we will be happy to assist you. Furthermore, order your GCMS NOTE to get the exact reason behind your refusal. It shall end in praises in your next application. |
DeuxMille:Sorry about the outcome of your application boss. I guess it should be an online application, because most October applicants are already getting feedback from CIC for online route. Kindly share your profile, so the knowledgeable ones here can advice you on what to do in your next application. It shall end in praises in your next application. |
Julivas:Thank you Sir! Julivas |
Thoyour:Your medical result will be sent directly from the recognized physician to CIC. Hence, you won't have access to it. When you're called for medicals, you're expected to take along with you the medical form sent to your MyCIC account and a medical exam fee. Ps: If you have undergone an upfront medicals and you didn't include the E-medical slip during your paper application submission, you can simply scan it and send it via webform/email when CIC eventually request for it. |
Austacus:Thank you very much bro. God bless you richly for your kind compliments about me and I also say a big AMEN to your prayers and best wishes. To the TRV hopefuls may God open every close doors in our lives and may our application find favour in the presence of the visa officer. Amen! |
Rodeoz:Waste no time again LINK YOUR PAPER APPLICATION ONLINE to get real updates on your application. |
Coast2Coast:Amen! God bless us all. |
Coast2Coast:Congratulations to you and your family. Age has never pose to be an issue to a study visa to Canada as long as you can account for your study gaps and explain reasonably what you've been up-to till date. You have no qualms. Attached is a screenshot from an applicant who is 51 years of age, going for a Post secondary diploma and got his study permit approved earlier this year. So it's very possible but chances are slim. Congrats once again! I wish your family a safe trip to Canada.

OFFICIALAEL:Wow this is a great news! It's been a while I heard from you. I can remember when your previous application was denied and how you planned giving up on your Canadian dream for US study visa. You were encouraged by the house not to give up but to give it a trial the last time. I am happy to hear the whole struggle paid off at the end. Congratulations brother. To your question, you can book one way trip, but it appears that round trip are cheaper. Congratulations OFFICIALAEL |
blet:Exactly! |
blet:A bank statement is valid for a month. If it exceeds one month it's rendered invalid and I would suggest you get an updated one. |
ghabrhiel10:ghabrhiel10, First and foremost, I'll advice you go for a degree that is higher than your already completed degree/level of education. The visa officer doesn't see the reasonableness of undertaking such a diploma program in chemical engineering at a high expense whilst your previous studies was based on biochemistry. The letter of explanation you presented in your previous application appears indistinct and epigrammatic which doesn't portray the relevance of the program. In order to demonstrate that you're a bona-fide applicant and will return after studies, Your purpose of visit has to be solid in your SOP: Firstly, you have to highlight your career progression up to now from what you have learned. Show them that you're well off at the moment with the current job and you're planning to step in to studies to move up the ladder. Secondly, why do u want to study the specific program and how its going to help you to achieve your career aspirations. What would be the final outcome. What are the demand for that job and prospects in your home country. What are the additional qualifications or skills that you're going to obtain and how it will help you in future. What difference can you make upon your return to Nigeria and how will your international certificate be of cutting edge over your contemporaries. Again, highlight why you have chosen Canada and the specific program and not Nigeria since there are similar available program (chemical engineering) here at a cheaper rate. Lastly, present sufficient ties like properties, Investments, and shares under your name or family, that can compel your return back home after studies. Once you can tackle the aforementioned points, travel history will be automatically waived for you! Good luck! |
ghabrhiel10:Don't just reapply that way. Endeavour to tackle the generic reasons that were raised by the visa officer on your refusal letter. Most especially Purpose of Visit and Home ties as these are the requirements which are put into consideration prior to the issuance of a study visa to Canada. |
ghabrhiel10:Page 1 and Page 2 contains sensitive information about you and shouldn't be shared on a public forum. The previous attachment you shared here was Note 3, 4, and 5 respectively. Check for Note 1 and 2 towards the ending part of the GCMS Notes there the information about your application lies. |
ghabrhiel10:Don't be confused yet! Please screenshot Note 1 and Note 2. Thank you! |
ghabrhiel10:This is not the factual reason for your refusal. Kindly scroll down to the last 2 pages of the PDF you will find the written note by the visa officer. Hoping to see that from you soon. |
nalizzzy:Pray for God's grace. Your application can still be approved. |
Labims:4 months bank statement is sufficient here. Additionally, If the funds in the investment account can be liquidated and will be readily available once she finally secures her TRV, you can also include it with her application, but endeavour to attach a reference letter from the bank attesting this to be true. |
Senatorkolade:It's obvious that this must have also contributed to the high refusal rate of visa refusals for Nigerian applicants not just that, it's also known that during the winter session there is always an increase in refusals compared to fall, this I noticed from my experience last year. I am pretty sure that the processing will also increase in a short time soon. Last year, the processing times by this time was 22weeks. It will continue to end in praises for us all. |
Adegbideen:1-) Travel History 2-) Family ties in Canada and country of residence 3-) Purpose of Visit 4-) Current Employment Situation 5-) Personal asset and financial status and 6-) Limited Employment prospects. Majority of September applicants that applied through paper route are already getting response from CIC and majority of them are refusals.
|
Senatorkolade:This should be paper route since he said he is heading to the VFS tomorrow to pick up his passport. After the system maintenance yesterday, the rate of refusals from paper route was too much to bear. I still wonder if this guy's goes through an applicant application entirety because all applications that were refused yesterday and today were all based on the same ground. It's very very sad Ps: My recent findings for paper route in and outside of this thread is that if your application stays up to 6 weeks and above without a medical mail it's not a good sign. I also found out that many paper applications gets medical request within the space of 4-6 weeks. So with this you can easily predict the success of your application for paper application. It shall end in praises. |
MISFITrep:MISFITrep, sorry about the refusal, put yourself together okay it's never the end of the world. You can share your profile to the house, the list of documents you submitted, your level of education, your proposed program etc.. This would give us an insight on how best to advice you. The rate of refusals for paper route these days is becoming alarming, God help us all. |
Henhy:Your sponsor (Uncle) mustn't bear the same surname with your mother because she (mother) is now married to your father and her previous name would be automatically changed to your father's name. Include the listed documents in my previous post and you will be fine. |
Henhy:Hi Henhy, Sorry about the outcome of your application. I understand the feeling most especially when the application you so much trusted doesn't scale through at the end. Having gone through what Austacus said and his advices, which is a guided one. I strongly doubt if your school will change the acceptance letter for you, as there are many undergraduate schools in Canada that doesn't specify the student course of study. That being said, you can as well check YOUR REFUSAL GROUNDS to get the full details of your application so as to avoid constant repetitive points here. Show proof of relationship with sponsor by including your bank statement showing proof of history and ongoing financial support from sponsor, your mother's marriage certificate, mother's attestation of birth and Uncle's international passport to evident that your mother once shared the same family name with your uncle before she got married to your dad. Uncle can do better by paying part/full of your tuition to show his financial commitment in sponsoring your studies. Finally order your GCMS note to know the factual reasons behind your refusal. All the best in your next application. |
henricson:Thanks for the feedback Bro! It's very clear to me now that Kenya are the ones handling some online applications starting from September and October. Never worry about the validity of your visa, the same God that assisted your application in the arms of the Kenya visa officers will surely help you with your PGWP when the time comes. Congratulations once again and thanks for providing clarity. God bless you richly. Also use the below email to send a CSE to Kenya processing office concerning your correspondence letter: nrobi-immigration@international.gc.ca All the best Bro. |
henricson:Hi henricson, I learnt that your submitted passport is ready for pickup. Please when you get your stamped visa passport, don't forget to update the house so as to know which of the visa office that approved your application since you applied in September (Online route). Thanks as you do so. Remain blessed Bro. |
wealth360:My boss himself wealth360... Welcome welcome! Thank you bro. I am hoping for a positive outcome soonest by the grace of God. How is maple land treating you? Hope good? Stay safe brother! |
