MissMichelleA:Sorry about the outcome of your application. Going through your detailed profile, I can't find information pertaining to your undegraduate studies, and intended program as well as your proposed DLI in Canada. |
Phatkings:There is a delay in receiving GCMS note this recent times due to high request for it from prospective permanent resident applicants whose applications has exceeded the estimated processing times and also refused temporary resident applicants (study visa, visitors and work permit). Hence, there is an extension of 90 days in receiving gcms note from IRCC. |
dubajek:Withdraw it now but make sure it's not a lump sum deposit. Also provide brief explanation as to the source/origin of the funds that was deposited into your account. |
cuteesthy:Go ahead and accept the offer. Nothing to be scared of. Come to think of it, were you expecting it to stay longer than this ? You should be excited that your acceptance came early enough and at this point be preparing to enter another phase of the main process which is the visa application. It shall end in praises |
Yk45:Applicants applying via the online route aren't required to sign the IMM forms. After successful uploading of documents into their various sections, you will be prompted to use your legal name as written on your passport to electronically sign the entire application before been transmitted to IRCC for due visa processing. I hope this helps. |
Ginaruby: Ginaruby:I think you're same applicant that made reference to have received a BVL update few days ago on this thread. What's the current status of your application? From the above write up, it appears like you submitted your application via paper route and didn't link your application online to have a clear view of your application progress. Nevertheless, the bolded simply implies that your application has been finalized and a decision reached. As a consequence, your passport is ready for pick up at the VAC. It shall end in praises. |
IfeoluwaPelumi7:Don't include your statement if you don't have considerable funds in it. Not including one doesn't stop the visa officer from granting you a visa to Canada. Amen! Thanks for the compliments and best wishes. It shall end in praises. |
echdani:I regret to hear your study visa was turned down. Keep an eye on your MyCIC account, you should receive the final decision in 48hrs-1week from the date of BVL receipt. |
IfeoluwaPelumi7:Q1 - Since you don't have substantial amount of money in your bank account and considering the fact that you're being sponsored, you don't necessarily need to include your statement. Unless on the account that you've been working for over the years (let say 4-9yrs now), then including your personal statement is very vital in your application. Q2- Ways to prove ties have been explained in my previous post on this thread. PLEASE REFER TO MY POST. It shall end in praises |
KennethBest:Welcome to the thread, I hope you will find your stay here very educating and rewarding. With regards to your questions, you can't secure a scholarship in any of the Canada's DLI with an undergraduate CGPA of 3.17. Please be guided that the minimum requirement for a master's program in Canada is 2.1, which yours is below the threshold. Thus, your spotting chance of gaining an admission is to apply for a post graduate diploma program in a program that is closely related to your area of specialization. Please Refer to - Conestoga College for her Occupational Health, Safety and Wellness program. It shall end in praises. |
UGODDAY:Check Conestoga College for her Process Quality Engineering program. |
dannishcukie:Your huge study gaps has alot of effect on your visa rejection. In your next application you should explain extensively and coherently what had hindered you from furthering your undegraduate studies here in Nigeria since you last left the polytechnic for over 8 years now. What makes you think when given a visa you will study hard and do well in classroom in a country like Canada where the system of education is very stringent. And also justify why you're a good fit for the program you've been offered an admission. All of these points must be convincingly explained in your SOP. As per career progression, you can't secure a post graduate diploma/Certificate program with an Ordinary Diploma (ND) certification. Following this, a bachelor's degree in economics is the only feasible academic progression for you at this point in your career. The best possible way of showing correlation between your intended program, your current job and passion is by listing out some of the core courses which you had undertaken during your ND program that are relevant to economics and your experiences at your current place of work which had made it a matter of urgency for you to advance your career in this lucrative yet demanding field of economics. Your short and long term career goals and prospects upon your return home must also be in tandem with your past experiences as a branch manager. It shall end in praises |
MissMichelleA:Be strong okay!!. I can understand your current state of mood. Defer your Admission to the next available term, seek counsel from knowledgeable individuals here and utilize the advices given by putting them into good use in your next application. Your victory is right around the corner. Never give up! It shall end in praises. |
MissMichelleA:With the number of applications I see within and outside of this thread. I'm afraid it's a REFUSAL. Keep the house posted once you get the final decision from IRCC. |
MissMichelleA:Your application is 50/50 since you had undergone an upfront medical exam which has already been updated as passed before the BVL notification. Can I ask you a question, when was your application submission date? This will help me know the current status/visa success rate of your application. |
librangyps:In as much as you want to show financial sufficiency for your planned studies in Canada, it's very advantageous you include your personal bank statement with your application. This will considerably proof your personal financial establishment in your home country and further confirm that you've been in gainful employment and well-off in your country of citizenship. February is a perfect time to apply for fall intake 2020, reasons being that there will be few applications at the embassy during this period, of which will avail the visa officer ample time to process your application and on the account that things didn't go as planned, you can easily re-strategize and reapply. More so, applying earlier will provide you space to prepare for your trip, spend time with your beloved ones before departing to Canada for your studies. Good to know you're an ardent follower of my several posts on this thread and have made the most of it in your application. It shall end in praises. |
darey360:I see no issues here as you made it sound. It's never compulsory for Sponsor's who run an establishment in their home country to include a company bank statement when sponsoring an applicant's education and stay in Canada. Also be well informed that it's also not a mandatory requirement that applicants who are gainfully employed must include their salary bank statements during visa application. In view of the fact that you're going for an Agric-business program at Fanshawe College, a reference letter from your dad's farm business/organization must suffice. This letter should mention your job title, responsibilities and duties in the business, employment start date, annual renumeration and allowances etc. The letter should be printed on the business official letter headed paper and duly signed by the HR or your dad. I would suggest you stick to the fact that you're working in the family's farm and you're going to Canada to advance your career so as to be able to take the family's business to a greater height in the near future and contribute positively to the Nigerian agricultural system as well as creating job opportunities etc..... All the best! |
ndubuisi1213:Use your MyCIC Account to track the progress of your application. Considering that you submitted through paper route follow this STEP-BY-STEP PROCEDURE TO LINK YOUR PAPER APPLICATION ONLINE. It shall end in praises |
Vesment:Use www.oanda.com for your currency exchange conversion. |
Ivygive:You just have to chill for a while as your application is currently under active processing at the immigration office and within the processing times. Hopefully you should receive a feedback from IRCC before the month ends. It shall end in praises. |
ChidimmaP:It's not an issue if the company is not providing their financal statements. After all, the canadian visa officer's don't have much regard for company Sponsorship. However it would make a whole lot of sense if you could include the company's CAC documents showing that you are also a co-owner of these companies, and also backup your claims with brief explanation in your SOP under the home ties sub-heading. |
holllowu:First time ever in history to see Canadian Study Permit processing time for Nigerian Applicants drastically reduced to six (6) weeks at this time of the year (NOV/DEC) It's quite unfortunate that Kenya VO's are very strict to Nigerians this period, thus resulting to a decrease in processing times due to less workload at the embassy. See the attachment for processing times last year 2017/2018.

IfeoluwaPelumi7:Q1-) Upload all supporting documents under the Client Information column Q2-) None of the routes are faster because all correspondence whether paper or online applications are transmitted to Kenya, Nairobi for due visa processing. However, online is cheaper and more convenient than paper route. |
muna3926:It's a normal procedure for the Canadian Immigration office, Lagos to carry out a Secondary Review on your POF after a Visa approval. Since you didn't purportedly submitted a fraudulent bank statement, you've nothing to be scared of. Simply walk into your nearest bank and request for an updated statement which will begin from the time you printed the previous one until date, showing history of inflow and outflow of funds into the account. Also get a bank reference letter attesting to the fact that your sponsor/you is the bona-fide owner of this bank statement and has satisfactorily been running the account since it's creation and until now. Keep the house posted on your experience. It shall end in praises. |
Piecoco:BACKGROUND CHECK; WE ARE PROCESSING YOUR BACKGROUND CHECK: means they are matching the information you provided with their records, if you previously committed a crime, refused a visa, ordered to leave a country and if you are a threat to their security or on a wanted watch list. Normally if everything is equal, It's at this stage your criminality will be automatically be declared as passed, which can be attesed in several GCMS notes I have reviewed. REVIEW OF ELIGIBILITY; WE ARE REVIEWING WHETHER YOU MEET THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: is the final check and the final stage of your application at the Visa Office. At this point, all of the components of your application are assessed by IRCC. The visa officer will be checking if you actually QUALIFY for a study permit and if your application meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulation's (IRPR) for visa issuance. During the eligibility review, the Visa officer will then request for medical check ups as needed by the Visa Office to complete your application. Most times, it is the Review of Eligibility that some applicants fail to meet because their applications and conditions does not meet the three (3) core requirements of the IRCC Act which are namely; 1-) Financial Sufficiency to cover your tuition, living expenses and transportation to Canada. 2-) Course Correlation and failure to convince the visa officer that the primary intention of travelling to Canada is to study. 3-) Family ties in home country that can motivate your return home after studies. Other checks are just standard procedure for IRCC. After successful review of applicant's application entirety and considering that there were no serious issues in the medical checkup, mispresentation, and security to ensure that applicant will not be a danger to Canadians should your study permit be approved, the Visa Officer will then request for your passport for visa stamps. My post as at February, 2018 I hope this helps. |
ESTHERNDUKA:After careful review of your profile and the list of documents submitted in your previous refused application. I noticed that there is no career progression between your interest, your intended program, level of education and current activity. You've degree in computer science and now going for an ordinary diploma in business administration in an unpopular College in Canada. This gives the visa officer the impression that you're not a bona-fide Applicant, but using study permit as a means to facilitate entry into Canada rather than educational advancement. My best advise for you, is that you should start afresh by applying for a post graduate certificate program or master's program in a closely related discipline in IT. This explains to the visa officer that your intent of going to Canada is genuinely to study and depart after your authorized stay. It shall end praises. |
kalushaiyke:No, the minimum requirement for a master's program in Canada is 2.1. |
Olayibo1:The requirement is your WAEC result and scratch card. Check out Carleton University, University of Waterloo, Thompson Rivers University, Vancouver Island University etc.... For further details please go through the internet. |
Naijaforeigner:Sorry to say but this is true, I can vividly count on several occasions when reputable agents contact me outside of this thread seeking for information and my candid advice on how to package certain set of applications that would be relevant in their client's visa application. I strongly urge applicants to carry out some personal research for themselves. All the necessary documents, queries and information needed for a successful study visa application can be seen and utilized on this thread for FREE, you don't have to pay exorbitantly to agents for a visa application that is not guranteed. Prospective applicants do ask me how I was able to gain this wealth of knowledge in handling several Canadian visa applications, including Express entry, AIPP, Study Visas, Visitor's Visas, SOWP and some PNP programs?". I always tell them that the knowledge and experience I have acquired in this process and until now were all gotten from my personal research on this thread, information and conversations from different Canadian immigration attorneys, as well as other useful forums. It was never a magic as people perceived it and trust me if others can do same, I know they will go farther/better than I do in this process. On the other hand, if you feel using an agent is the right option for you, then follow your guts and instincts and invest in what you believe in. |
ChidimmaP:It's optional for sponsored applicant to include their personal statement. Oñly on the account that you've been in gainful employment with vast working experience would you be required to include your personal statement. |
Rooneyx:Management programs in Canada are generally VERY VERY expensive when compared to other regular programs. Also, only few Institutions in Canada offer Business Management program at PhD level. |
holllowu:Amen! Thanks very much; |
