Not checked that way.

You would have gotten the 10m upon maturity.
But YOU DID NOT WAIT till maturity naa.

So they took what you would have earned if you had waited.

If you are to be paid 50k salary and you worked for 2 weeks only and got 25k, it's your entitlement. Do you expect 50k without working for full month.

Note that I have read here that some banks charge penalty for liquidating prematurely.
I have no authority on this. Maybe sir emmanuelewumi can help.
The penalty for premature liquidation is mostly in the rate the investment was made and the rate it was disposed at the time of liquidation. It is a discounted investment of which interest was discounted at the time of investing.

It is not like fixed deposit or Mutual Funds where the accrued interest will gather with the capital till the maturity/agreed date. For these, there are stated penalties depending on the financial institutions. This penalties are often limited to the interests earned alone and not with the capital.

can you see how stupid you are, all these you listed here are money doubling scheme. Why didn't you list Oxford group; you can't because they are not money doubling scheme. Do you know how many times I've invested in Pepper, turmeric and ginger farm, and I've collected my money ROI twice. People are investing everyday. Stay there and continue to wallow in stupidity and ignorance. Go and make your findings well and come back here with concrete evidence that oxford is a money doubling scheme. If you've been to Maryland, our bill board is there. Just stop been an old fool
Insults...that's the first sign to know Ponzi agents and promoters. You are not just a learner you are also very naive about what you are marketing. I pray you realise in time and not defraud people around. People have no joy now, that you should know. So they won't carry out jungle justice on you. Any company that want to collect money and invest on people's behalf is supposed to be registered with SEC. So is each of the funds under their management... You are here telling it's not a Ponzi because you have one kangaroo CAC registration...

A bed space at the Nigeria Correctional Service lodge awaits you if you don't desist from it...

this is not a money doubling scheme or MMM or what have you. We have various sector such as agriculture, real estate, oil and gas people can invest in and as such, their investment is tentatively turned into shares and they are also constructively called shareholders but without any liability because their investment is insured by leadway assurance plc. If you invest 1m, you will get back your investment with interest after a year or 2years, dependent on the time you want to invest your money in. This is not a money doubling scheme and please do your research properly before coming online to defame other people's names and bizz because of your ignorance. Don't act like a simpleton. Thanks

It is a Citizens right to report ANY MATTER to the Police.
It is the duty of the Police to DECIDE if that matter is within their jurisdiction.
We should not also forget that a matter that starts as "Civil", might quickly degenerate to a Criminal matter and as long as the Police has a Duty to maintain "Law and Order", they can intervene in ANY MATTER that threatens Law and Order or "liable" to cause Breach of Public Peace.
A "Debt" cab also be a criminal matter, depending on how the Debt came about.
If you "obtained someone by trickery", you are owing the said person by the amount you defrauded him but under EFFC Act, that is a Criminal offense and the Police/EFCC Officers will surely drag the 'Debtor'/

If the Creditor starts dragging the Man that owes him and the Police feels it is liable to cause a breach of public Peace, the Police can intervene, ask the Debtor to py up or make arrest, all in an effort to maintain "Law and Order".

I think the person who started this thread is trying to send a message out, that the person(s) his is owing, cant arrest him with Police or use the Police to make him pay them. grin grin
Infact, when l bring two crazy red-hat Soldiers to your door, you will cough out my money instantly because those ones will beat you to supor and then detain you at Barracks, till your people pay the Debt and incidenta expenses join.

Can u hear yourself? Court is judiciary arm while police belong to the executive arm. Debt recovery is sole responsibility of the judiciary not the police.
True police belong to the executive arm and court the judiciary. Also true is that debt recovery and other civil matters are the responsibility of the Judiciary.

However, it is only the executive arm that has the capability to enforce.

What then happens if a debtor that has the money and capacity to refuse to pay even after the court pronouncement and several promise to pay but failed..?

Though functions are defined for all the arms of government, non can work in isolation..

Goodplace:
Please kindly advice on the topic.
That amount to about N20,833.5 monthly rent which is about 26.04 % of you salary. You are going to pay light bill and water bill depending, you are to transport to your work place too. If you are just starting life and that's your new house it will need furnishing. Then you are to feed, cloth and probably take care of little family depending. Not forgetting that you are to still save some part of that money.

If you consider all those, it is expensive. You may wish to look for a cheaper one.

Can one buy into this with Fbnquest? Ps. I doubt I can even meet up with the closing day, repatriating funds from Stanbic money market could be time consuming.
Tomorrow Wednesday is the closing date for it. You can just google Coronation Marchant Bank and mail or call the address/number seen in their first thing tomorrow morning. To see if you can still accommodate you. It is not a must for you to have an account with them.

All that is required is for them to mail you the commitment form. Then you fill, scan and send it to them immediately. So long as you have your CSCS and CHN number close and you are in a place you can immediately print and scan the form it should fly.

Ordinarily, even if the mother was not there an adult is eventually going to be held responsible. It is the duty of the parent/guardian either father, mother or whoever took her there to guide and and protect her. Someone must be held responsible either directly or indirectly.

Weldone pa Emma, for consistently dishing out sound advice on investing in Nigeria I visited the Agritech page and this page today and I could see the litany of losses made by investors via agritech, some have up to 20mil locked up with these agritech companies who are no longer paying.

I remembered your warning about this investment, fx trading and cryptocurrencies months ago. We even analysed the days of Nospetco, sefteg etc back then to remind people. But It seems this is a recurring cycle in our country, can we Estimate what people have lost to these ventures? Why do our people keep falling for such high risk schemes? Is there more we can do in terms of CSR to sensitise people and get the Government to be more proactive?

Nigeria already have many poor people, it breaks my heart when people are fleeced of their hard earned savings and made poorer.
Our people keep falling for such schemes because many of us do not like to do even if it is a little research before investing money. Lot of us are just plain gullible and easily brainwashed and when someone tries to open our eyes we take them as enemy of progress. Also the get rich quick syndrome has really eaten deep into our system that once a mouth watering return is pronounced from any endeavour, we throw due diligence out of the way.

Got that from investment house, its a commercial paper which is like Tbills but issued by cooperate organisation to raise fund just like govt do with Tbills. Always having tenor of less than 364 days and minimum of 5m, the rate here is 12.3% for 270 days which is awesome compared to recent history. Last week we had one for 11.56%. Basically commercial papers have been saving men since the slump of Tbills only problem it doesn't have a calendar so always keep cash in view for the kill. Apart from the gamble, I like this brand of investment. Company rating is very important though, I can't speak more on that as I lack basic authorization but I strongly believe that the authorities wouldn't let them float if not with potentials of paying back.
Thanks, I wanted to more about the issuer and the issuing houses involved to see if there is anyone close enough and open to deal with. I now know it is just Chapel Hill Denham and The Coronation Marchant Bank itself that are handling it. Their rating is not bad. They also seem to be involved in most of the FG Bond and SUKUK these days.

So it's a good one.

How accessible is FBNQuest if their attention is needed? How long does it take to redeem your fund?

Please, those who are already with FBNQuest Asset Management should share their experiences with us.
The account wasn't opened online but from their branch office. So I can't tell you anything about their online account opening.

Haven't also redeemed funds from there but I believe if the app is well set up you will not encounter issues with redemption.

Not very accessible, the only way around this is to know and have your account officers contact. Their customer service seem to be the worse of all of the 3 or 4 I have had encounter with. They hardly reply messages.

Duty to the nation?
Really?
That is what the nation wants from them?

How about their duty to the civilian tax payers that pay their salaries?

Are you talking about the same overzealous and rascally Nigerian police that we all know or some other police in Europe?
First of, please be informed that everybody working for the government is also a taxpayer. In fact, in Nigeria the major tax payers are the government workers. They are the only one government have access to deduct their tax from the source.

We most times want to think like the western world when talking about tax payers when in reality majority of us and our activities are not even taxed. The major government revenue funding it's running is royalties from the inherent natural resources and not tax on the activities of the populace as generally insinuated.

The generality of businesses are either not taxed or under-taxed. Yes some people may feel like they are being taxed because of the activities of touts and hoodlums around their business area but most of those monies collected end up in personal pockets.

That is why the masses does not have the courage and moral justification to hold the government accountable for its spending.

In every organisation, all the workers of that organisation are part of that organisation. Yes, their schedules may be different. In a bank for eg, some are assigned to go to the market and get retail customers. Others are assigned to go to big offices and establishment to look for affluent customers. They have the ones sweeping the bank, the securities at the door, the teller/cashier, the section managers/HODs, the branch manager, regional managers upto the CEO. What ever you are assigned to do, that is you responsibility to that organisation and by extension to the society at large.

That said, being assigned to take care of the security of the president is a very big duty/service to the nation. As your service is not to the person but to the office and by extension to the nation.

Rascality is part of the livelihood of majority of Nigerians. Nigeria police is composed of a selected Nigerians. Other police in Europe are composed of
Europeans. You don't expect them to behave same do you... Mind you, for every overzealous policeman you see there are ten others dispassionate one you did not see or choose not to see.
