slawormiir:That's Nigerians for you. You loathe them when they don't do their job but when they do there are not to be praised because it's their job. Footballers play football as their job and are praised when they do well. Sometimes they even get awards for it. Musicians too play/make music as their job. They get praised when they do well and sometimes get awards for it too. Why is it that Nigerian public officials only get called out when they don't do well but when they do well you guys do not like people praising them. Why? |
mickky22:Zenith Bank UCap & GTCo.. Going by their track records. Though GT just metamorphosed into a holding company not quite long and that particular corporate action could change behaviour. Make I leave people wey sabi to chuk mouth. |
The game was well played. It wasn't Arsenal's to win. If Martinelli had buried his last attempt before the penalty City would have gone to pass the ball instead. The had work and determination was there but mentally, the team hasn't arrived yet. Xhaka has no business holding the guy in box 18 whether he was diving or not. Though the Ref was kind of rash in his distribution of cards especially to Arsenal players (like his card to Saka and Gabriel's first card) which somehow affected the game, I think Arsenal players too should try and manage their temperament when winning in big games especially. Nothing wrong if they complain to their captain and allow him take issues up to the Ref instead of talking anyhow. In all it was a good fight between two top 4 teams. |
Thehilah4jesus:To me ooo, I feel you should be contacting the bank or asking other people that subscribed here if they have heard from the Issuing Houses they used. I don't think anyone has heard from any of the issuing houses or broker/agents yet. If successful, you will be contacted and certified/proof of investment forward to the email through which you communicated with them. Also, people around here will talk about it. |
emmanuelewumi:Okay, was thinking they could participate too as a broker. |
Pesuzok:This should be from the floor of the NSE right? I have used them for FGN Saving Bond but I once contacted them for a possibility of subscribing to an FGN reopening bond and they told me they are yet to start. |
This is a normal thing that you shouldn't allow to bother you. Lots of people want to cajole/blackmail their friends, relations and neighbours to buying what they sell even when those involved are not so comfortable. Personally, I feel those people should be more concerned at addressing the reason why people that are supposed to get things from them are going elsewhere to buy. Some of these reasons are: 1. Unnecessary inflation of prices which most times leads to not being able to sell fresh items early enough and as a result leads to... 2. Lack of fresh items / availability of expired items. 3. Gossiping instead of facing their business which is the main reason for them coming out, they would be discussing other people's business. Though, they sometimes succeed in hoodwinking some shy and indecisive people. However, so long as you are not going to depend on them when broke: collecting on credit to pay back when you have the money, then it is fine to just do what's best for yourself. Buy from where you feel comfortable. |
jedisco:You are not considering the prevailing Bond Market rates... MTN Nigeria issued a 10 year corporate not quite long, same with Dangote Cement and Lagos State Government. Their rates were all in the neighborhood of 12%. All these are to be considered in determining rates. Like I ask before and will still ask again does it mean that the experts of these companies and state government are not being prudent too..? These companies and sub-national Bonds are well rated and have not defaulted too. So the risks with them are relatively minimal. You should be looking at the inflation rate and devaluation and currency devaluation in the USA and China when using their bond rates as reference. |
emmanuelewumi:Yes, so I read. So I try to check their ratings, and track records. |
emmanuelewumi:Their tenors for all are 270. Though they had 180. They are Commercial Papers.. Someone even posted Mixta Africa CP here then for about 15% sef. I just drag leg... And no enough money for my hand then. If not I would have subscribed. |
emmanuelewumi:Coronation Merchant Bank was about 12.3% Valency Agro Nigeria Limited was about 13.7% DLM Capital Group Limited was about 13.09... |
emmanuelewumi:Not buying vitafoam from about N4 when it was being discussed in the NSEMPA. That's even before 2021 ooo... Na better money I for don gain. It's most because of the illiquid nature then that made me look away... Also I did not just concluded MTN PO even when many investment houses were sending me numerous messages about it. I wanted to ooo but had to change to wait and get later from NSE. Also I could not subscribe to the MTN 10 year Cooperate Bond because my account then send no reach minimum required subscription... I also couldn't subscribe to the Mixta Africa CP advertised here. The rate seem to be the among the CPs I came across this year. I had to delve into alternatives to TB this year as it became glaring that rates are not going to get to double digits soon. I did about 3 CP with rates from 12.2% to 13.7%. As I no get power and money for real estate. I just start to invest small small. 2022 na preelection year. I am assuming that people will start dumping some of their shares because of the uncertainty that comes with the election. Na to try begin get some. |
Omoedeki:Very wicked soul... The loss people have incurred already is not enough for so you want to add more sorrow to them? People will repeat your last line for you when your FINTRAC vanish. |
steveneche:If you have flare for business and have a plan already you can go for the N5,000,000. You can also collect the money if you feel you can have another job elsewhere. Collect and invest it. However, if you know that you can't do business and don't have prospect for another please collect job. That 5,000,000 is about 4 years 2 months salary. Minus the salary other things can come up that will give you more money. You can also grow more on the Job too. |
Onyeka2019:The second picture with 2 boys sitting on their mum is Musa's family. The senior boy is his replica. |
Mercychen:Cufflinks, belt, wallet, shoes...the list is inexhaustible if I want to continue.. |
Akerewe:Yes that is their required process. You will even need a witness for the form. At the end of the day, you will have to way your options and make a decision you will standby. |
What is the difference between interest, rent and profit? Why is interest classified as Ar- Ribaa and the others not? |
emmanuelewumi:Or if you intend to be doing that volume of transactions from your comfort zone. You can increase your limit. The maximum you can increase to for the app and internet access is 5M. |
emmanuelewumi:It is likely that they may not have met their required target sum of 250 billion before it closed yesterday so they had to extend it. Also, Though, there were lots of assumptions in the discussions here earlier. In all there was no consideration for the prevailing market price of 10 year bond issues in 2021 for both cooperate and government bond across board. MTN, Dangote Cement , Lagos State government etc all issued 10- year bonds this year. The benchmark/band of their rates were all from 12%. Will these corporate guys want to be imprudent as we perceive the FG Managers? |

In life everyone has his own luck and destiny. They are drawing this comparison because he is having issues... What about Raheem Sterling that left there to Mancity and since then have been a bigger player than he was in Liverpool? What about Luis Suarez too? Why did they compare Storridge that stay till his career was wrecked...? Abeg, in life some moves will pay off others won't.. That the creators design.... |
