I've asked my friends that prayer question many times, no definite answer. Why do you pray to God when he already knows what is going to be?

Genesis 5 and Genesis 11 give the number of years between each father to son from Adam to Abraham. Approximately 2183 years between Adam to Abraham. That was even when men lived up to 900+ years. After Abraham, people barely lived 120 years. Scholars put Abraham to Jesus as 2000 years. I'm not sure how they got it.

Also you made mention of ice age, the first ice age dates back as far as billions of years ago... This ice age carry fossils of ancient animals and plants meaning there have been animals and plants as far back as then here on earth.....
Doesn't this scientific facts further weaken religious claims and creation stories..
Because it is evident that the earth has been for billions of years with animals and plants in it, homo sapiens have been far more than 200k years ago.
But unfortunately, the best we could get from the Bible if we over and over estimate to the limit is still far less than 100k years....

And believe me, for a variation as much as our races, it will take millions of years for such to happen... Races cannot form over thousand of years....we are talking of billions of people not just a few hundreds or tens, billions of people in different races, meaning that races were never newly formed over thousand of years ago, or how possible did all the races in the world were rapidly formed just after the flood, and after then, since men started taking records over thousand of years ago, no new race has been formed... Isn't that an unquestionable flaw in the argument....that's where you theory of genetically optimisation failed in this context, genetic optimisation does not rapidly create entire new species that will rapidly populate in that same line of variation into billions and here we aren't talking of just one variation but multiple variations, Asians, Caucasians, Negros ,even among blacks, there are still differences, a Nigerian doesn't look like a Kenyan.... There are races and sub-races... Even in Nigeria, a typical Yoruba man does not look like Fulani man... these differences in all ramifications can never be formed in thousand years....


And regarding the decrease in velocity of the earth, scientific research amount the rate to about 2.3 Milliseconds per century.... Meaning, I was right...it will take millions of years for such decrease to even amount to something as significant as a minute , so we can dispense with it

you like arguing with people that are hidebound. Adam to Abraham is 20 generations, Abraham to Jesus is 42 generations. So, 2000 years ago, we've only had 62 generations of homo sapiens according to the bible. Anyone arguing this is just trying to shift goal post. 62 generations can't even make up to 10000 years.

why are you stubborn like this? In the original language of the new testament, "eternal" and "everlasting" were translated from the same word, they mean the same thing. It's just like translating "commencer" in french language to "start" or "begin" in diferent places in english. They're from the same source, they mean the same thing. This is simple, there is no need for exegesis there.

Everlasting life is the life of heaven. When you believe in the Lord Jesus, you are assured of heaven. It is the desire of God that everyone makes heaven. But we are here in this world that has the devil in it. The Lord Jesus said, as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so will the son of man be lifted up, and any body that believe in the Lord Jesus when he is lifted up, will have eternal life. here he didn't say you will have everlasting life, but eternal life. Read John 6:50-57. But there is one thing about Everlasting life and eternal life. Everlasting life comes by believing, but eternal life, comes by knowing. I would stop here for now.

Everlasting life and eternal life means the same thing. It's the KJV translation that caused the confusion. In the original Greek lexicon, both "everlasting" and "eternal" are translated from the same Greek word "aionios". It means forever, everlasting or perpetual.
The "eternal" in John 3:15 and the "everlasting" in John 3:16 are the same thing, the same word. Don't let bible translation confuse you.

Most ppl don't understand God. Look human knowledge cannot decipher God. Both the Christian and the Atheist are of God. You both do nit and cannot understand him. He is beyond human comprehension. He clearly said it "My ways are not your ways" "The wisdom of man is foolishNess to God".

Human knowledge cannot decipher God but we have many pastors all over trying to explain their own version of God. Are they not humans too? If God is mysterious like you said, that means nobody knows him. We're all just speculating.

What I don't understand is Christians arguing blindly that the Bible is not a sexist book or debating that the Bible is not condescending or degrading towards women. The evidence is staring you right I'm the eyes in your manual of regulations!
The problem is that Christians do not even know the contents of their Bible especially the women. Any woman that has read the Bible herself and understands what she read will immediately realise she can NOT be a Christian because she will never be able to keep to the injunctions or standards of the Bible.

The bible is sexist, just like any other books written 2000 years ago. Even some books written 50 years ago are not socially acceptable. That's why some movie adaptation of books try to change the characters to fit the society today.

God regreted creating man because He gave man a freewill. God has no autority over mans freewill. He gave everyone the opportunity to decide what they wanted. Many did not choose God, His laws and His ways which made God regret ever creating man.

That is why after making that statement in the Old testament, He decided to help man out of devils grip by sending His only begotten son to redeem the world. Thats why in this dispensation, you will never see where God made such a statement as everyone has a choice to be redeemed and He is constantly working out salvation for everyone.

Just think of it this way. We have all been there at a point where you helped someone who really needed help and the person turned back to betray you, wont you regret it?

he gave man freewill and he already had the foreknowledge of what he would use the freewill to do. So why should he regret?

If you know someone is a confirm thief, but you still went ahead to make the person a treasurer in your organization, will you regret when you already know what to expect? That's man, not even God that has foreknowledge of all things.

There's a reason the Samaritan was used as the good guy and the priest and levites were the bad guys in the parable . The Jews always saw the Samaritans as their enemies. But the teaching was trying to correct the notion of not stereotyping. A Samaritan can be a neighbor of the jew.

there are like 2 accounts of man creation. Genesis 1 account was a little different from Genesis 2 account.
