Seriously isn't easy at all.

Even me that's a male of 27years, my families are on my neck to get serious and settle down; let alone a female of 30+ years.
Business To Business › Re: How Have Been Making Above 40k Every Week Working As A Freelancer by FunnyDude(op): 2:52pm On Jun 02, 2019
I feel bad.

I freely share information.

Both in my personal life and on here.

If something is working for me, then I’m very likely to share it.

But recently I have been holding on to ‘’this particular information’’.

Twice I have tried to give it out for free, and twice I had cancelled.

Now, it is so bad that I can’t even sell it…I really can’t.

…and this information is simply my new secret sales letter template.

Yeah, I know. On the surface it doesn’t seem like something anyone should hide. Till you truly understand WHY I am holding on to it like Coca cola recipe.

You see, for the past 2 years I had been looking for ‘’the one true template’’

Something that contains ALL the persuasion element.

Everything. From connecting with the reader, to making them believe the copy to breaking all their objection.

So some months back I paid for this copywriting course.

It was a $1000 course.

And right inside was the template.

When I saw it I just knew it’d work. I just knew it. deep inside my soul. The course was cool, but that one template was the ONLY thing that stuck.

Because the way the template is crafted, anyone could use it and still write something that converts.

Anyone. So far you aren’t stupid.

It is that good.

Now imagine what a master copywriter like myself would do with a template like that (Yes, I just bragged).

But just to me sure it works…I tested it. I wrote a sales letter with it.

Ran traffic to it.

And I had such an avalanche of sales, just as expected. we sold off and had to turn the ads off.
That was when it started doing me ‘’share this thing, share this thing’’

My plan was just to package it and give it out for free.

But I changed my mind.

Then I thought of selling it. And I still couldn’t get myself to do it.

So I have decided to just keep it to myself, or use it to write sales letters for my client. Like a secret ‘’cheat’’
It makes me feel a little bad.

But like my Father would say; ‘’Sometimes there are some business secrets you don’t share’’

Most times when I'm home, I keep it low such that no knows I'm home.
I was wondering o. No sales since. Or is Fiverr losing buyers?
Ramadan fasting is likely the cause. Most people are on break at this time.

I see many freelancers talking about being lonely and holed within the four walls of their houses.
Well, I solved that by joining a gym. At least I get to go there every morning (when I don't work overnight). It's necessary to socialise a little because not mingling with humans can cause depression even when you have money and also people just come to your house anyhow knowing you're always at home.

Anyway, please I've not gotten a job on Fiverr for weeks now and I'm sending buyer requests. I'm getting frustrated. Please check my gig, guys.

https://www.fiverr.com/s2/656cd5123c?utm_source=com.google.android.apps.docs_Mobile
People will come to your crib anyhow when you give them that chance.

The fasting effect is on fiverr too. Sales are so low during this time.

PREVENTIVE MEASURES

==============================
Being a freelancer makes you so suspicious

Suspicious of being a yahoo boy because you work and earn online.

All thanks to those tarnishing our image globally.

Your neighbors are eyeing you based on your modus operandi of work, some will even think you're internet fraudster.

To them, any young man looking good and earning online is hooked in cyber crime.

As we all know, the government are fighting real hard to end this menace.

EFCC and SAS are having a free meal on most youths with laptop.

The question is; how would you escape from this menace as a freelancer?

Never disclose to anyone that you're a freelancer, because the term is unknown in this part of the world (Nigeria).

Tell people you're a DIGITAL MARKETER.

With that the suspicious will be let down and other things will fall in place.

You too do your thing on a lowkey, don't behave the way yahoo guys does.

To your success.

Being a freelancer makes you lost real touch with the physical world.

You're just limited with you and your gadget most times, which isn't that healthy technically too;

Everything has its advantages and disadvantages;

But we're in Nigeria;

A country filled with mediocrity and sadist populace;

Majority of people here are assholes;

It's much healthier to have just 5 self motivated friends that would transform your future compares to 50 useless friends that add no real value;

To cap it all;

Freelancing or not;

keep your circle small to live long.

Seriously, I don tire.

Was considering going back to the corporate world (I never really did that formally after NYSC though). At least anything to leave the house and work somewhere else.

Plus, writing is mentally exhausting. You're thrown things you never knew existed before then and you have to give your best every darn time.

If I lived in Lagos, I no sure say I for still dey freelance. embarassed
You can move to Lagos then but make sure you have connection because trust me, good job is damn scarce. Forget the hype.

Or you can rent a space like an office you operate from there.

Be sure that every decision we make has its own price.
Being a freelancer comes with great pleasure(being your own boss) and downside of being at home always.

In the regular corporate job, you'd need to contend with bad boss, delay in salary, overhead transportation cost in a place like Lagos , mentally exhausting jobs because you'd surely cough out the salary you're being paid for.

Weigh both and make your decision.

DID YOU KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE PRAYING TO BE IN YOUR SHOES? TO BE EARNING COMFORTABLY FROM HOME?

To me, freelancing rocks......

I'd rather save up and start offline business or an office where I'd operating from to leave home in the morning.

Finally, don't give a f**k about anyone's opinion, so far they ain't paying your bills.

What is your point? That because you're a 'full time' freelancer electricity issues affect you the most?

You think you're thinking critically? What an insult to the term.

Don't define freelancing to me, I'm quite sure I've been in it longer than you have.

Alternative means of power sources? You suddenly think someone would mention how you could make your laptop run without charged battries or your generator without fuel?

Now, given that freelancers can move from one place to another and artisans and other fixed businesses cannot, who suffers the brunt of poor electricity more? Who has more options on how to solve it? Freelancers or traditional businesses?

Now if the answer to this question is the former, what then is the reason for this thread?

What do you want to read? Use power banks, charge your phone regularly? get a good laptop battery or run your generator?

Are these new solutions to new problems? Have you said anything that we aren't familiar with already?

Again I ask, do you think critically at all? Or are you just overly joyous that you're a 'full time freelancer'?

Too many questions, but really I don't want you to answer any. Just think 'critically' about them.
Sincerely speaking, the solution to power problem is known already for serious freelancer. Though, it's good to share knowledge on a thread like this.

So it's Abuja jobs you don't require connection for? Bros Lagos is far better than Abuja in terms of job.
Over 60/70% of Abuja jobs are Federal and International NGO jobs which even requires more connections to get.
Atleast you have your sanity in place unlike Lagos where Agbero n traffic will take a toll on you.
