No matter how perfect the electoral act maybe, and no matter who is the appointing authority of the INEC chairman, the more there's pervasive corruption in our polity where people who are elected to public office engaged in brazen act of corruption with no consequences, we will not have a decent election. No matter how INEC prepares, politicians will find a way round to rig elections. Even if they lose fair and square, they will still challenge the results at the tribunal because they believe they can bribe their way through to get the result upturned by the panel. Almost all the election results declared by INEC in the last general elections are being contested in the election petition tribunals. No body agrees he/she lost, the maxim is "if you can't get it through the elections, you can get it through the courts". The end do justify the means |
When demand is more than supply, this is what you get: SCARCITY. And when a product is scarce, the price goes up. Price reduction is a marketing gimmick by BUA cement to overtake Dangote as the foremost cement brand in Nigeria, with the price reduction, BUA cement is on everyone's lip, and everyone is looking for that brand because of the purported price reduction. If BUA can't match it's supply with customers' demand, then the price reduction is a mirage as it will just remain a marketing tactics |
What if it happens that he isn't the one that fathered Mohbad, isn't that a possibility too |
What I see in Mohbad's father is a man trying to profit from his son's death, this man wishes wishes Liam not to be his grandson so as to have for himself the royalty from Mohbad's work. This man knows that with the DNA confirming the child, the properties left behind and the royalties go to the only surviving child and ultimately the child's mother will be in charge. Mohbad's father is wishing silently to take over his son's property |
If not for Carl Ikeme bone marrow issue that makes him quit football, we won't be in this mess, can't we get a good goalkeeper from NPFL |
Our politicians are shameless, no wonder the country is where it is today, just imagine the kind of people we elect to positions of power |
misreal:our population is a curse already, population growth without economic growth is a recipe for disaster. An unproductive populace procreating like rats, lazy populace multiplying anyhow thinking government will give them jobs and put food on their tables |
A road divider should be constructed to demarcate the lanes, a careless brt driver with slight deviation from his lane poses a serious danger to another brt bus coming from the opposite direction, the brt lanes from Oshodi down to Abúlé Ẹ̀gbá should be demarcated. And speed limit should be specified and adhere to. Brt drivers on that corridor should be specially trained on safe driving. A demarcation should be urgently put in place, that route has no allowance for a tiny margin of error |
Omenlon:you guys are funny, do you think a private entity will just take up any road on BOT (build operate and transfer) , without considering the viability? Lagos/Ibadan expressway was given to Babalakin's Bi courteny under PPP by FG years back but they couldn't get the required fund to do the project till the contract was revoked and was given to Julius Berger and RCC which is being funded by FG. Apart from Dangote that build the Gbagada/Oshodi/Apapa expressway based on tax concessions, how many roads are built on PPP in Nigeria. Even Lekki express purportedly built through PPP, Lagosians are agitating it shouldn't be tolled. If the Sango/ Abẹ́òkúta road ìs rebuilt through PPP, motorists will pay nothing less than 1,000 per trip at the toll. How many motorist can afford that |
Do Ogun state have the resources to fix the road? That road will not be fixed in a decade to come if left for Ogun state to reconstruct. So many roads that are responsibility of the state are unmotorable |
His hands have been removed from the cookie jar, he's now lamenting and blaming someone for his removal. He should go and enjoy the one he has amassed over the years. All those humongous bonus and bribery from the MDAs are gone, he has to go low key now. I have no sympathy for those who feed fat on our commonwealth. |
dalaman:election petition appeal ends at the appeal court. Abbo is removed, no appeal to be entertained |
They use a POS to drain your account, all what you need to do now is to go to your bank and get the details of the Pos agent that is attached to the pos. By this the robbers can be traced, if our police are that efficient, in a matter of days these criminals will be apprehended and we will have less of this mofos on the loose |
Akeredolu that is supposed to have been impeached due to ill health and inability to function as a governor is the one instigating impeachment of his deputy that is holding fort for him while he's on sick bed abroad |
This regime need to make constant electricity a top priority, electricity should be made available 24/7. I don't see the reason I shouldn't have power supply anytime I need it. It's hurting having to be buying petrol at this rate to power our home and business, every regime since the beginning of this republic as far as power supply is concerned is a disaster, from Obasanjo to Buhari, I hope Tinubu will not end up like his predecessors |
jahsharon:oh thanks for reminding me, meaning he's a serial defector, maybe by 2027 he will defect to another party when Apapa fully take control of Labour party |
No qualms, he won't be the first politician to defect and definitely not the last. Even Obi the "saint" too defect from PDP to LP |
Sore loser, Obi better go team up with Atiku fir 2027. if not, there wailing will be for additional 4 years. You guys lost the election but now playing spoilers game. Those who can't endure the pain of defeat don't deserve the joy of victory |
He will be caught, he can not be running forever |
tamonokare:for "Home" you are supporting freedom fighters For "Away" you are against freedom fighters No be hypocrisy be that? |
Eternal conflict, eternal war, eternal enemies, Elusive peace, The killing field of the middle east |
When you tell some ignoramus that these incidents of stolen manhood is just a ruse, I am surprised that the supposed educated ones still believe in all these thrash in this century. people who raise alarm of their manhood missing are either paranoid or are being criminally mischievous. With this our mentally of believing all these nonsense, I am not surprised at the backwardness of the black race |
Sọ pé ó ti lọ |
Exercise in futility |
This is a mob induced trial, and their remand is to placate the mob, police should release the result of the autopsy. The main question people fail to ask is what kind of illness mohbad suffered before a nurse was called in to treat her, till today I haven't heard anyone asking this question, is the mother and father not told what happened to mohbad before a nurse was called in? Is the wife too not aware of what medical condition he's going through before a nurse was called to attend to him? Will the father not be aware of the son's illness before he ordered him buried next day he died? People are just using the beef between Mohbad and Naira Marley label to witch-hunt the latter. It won't be surprising to me if the autopsy result turn out to be the death was caused by illicit drug use |
muyico:it's real, some guests actually left in anger after the celebrant's speech |
Easier said, when they get the job, it will be excuses galore |
UncleKoboko:the closest is actually Sierra Leone |
An expert who has examined your brother gave his opinion on his medical situation, you now come here seeking for people's opinions so as to justify your preference of not wanting the leg amputated. Please advise your family to take to the doctor's recommendation if not the consequences will be worse than amputation |
This is why federal government owned universities school fees are increased by 500%. All along ASUU strikes have all been about salary increment not about standard and quality education. |
Believe these stories of missing manhood at your own peril, it's all illusion, if someone is in a state of fear, naturally the dick will become shrink and placid. But because someone is suspicious of another fellow, he will feel his dick that's shrink and shout someone has snatched his dick and other ignoramus will believe him and start mobbing an innocent person |
