Education › Re: Seeing This As The Parent, What Would You Do? by gabbasin(m): 9:58am On Aug 25, 2023
If you see the kind of teachers working in our schools in ogun state, especially public schools, you will feel ashamed. I have interacted with some of them and I wonder if no interview is conducted before they are recruited, they can't piece simple sentences together. I have seen one referring to toll gate as "tow gate", the first time I thought it's a typo error until it's repeated again.

Family › Re: Should One Ask A Divorcee What Caused The Split? by gabbasin(m): 1:49pm On Aug 22, 2023
If you are having a relationship with a divorcee, it's necessary to ask him/her what led to the divorce, in most cases your partner will not tell you the truth if her fault led to the divorce. A wife that was divorced for cheating will not tell her new guy what really led to the divorce, and her wife abuser will not tell his new babe what led to his wife divorcing him. It's better to independently verify what led to the divorce of your partner if you are in doubt of his/her account of what led to the divorce. Cheating, irresponsibility, spouse abuse, dire financial situation of the husband, family meddling in couple's affairs etc are some of the reasons couples seek divorce

Politics › Re: Justice Flora Ngozi Azinge: A SAN Is Trying To Bribe Me by gabbasin(m): 9:32pm On Aug 15, 2023
The judge should have contacted security operatives especially the DSS and should play along and have the SAN attempting to bribe her arrested. By making statement like this without naming the culprit is just allowing a corrupt senior lawyer to go free with this corrupt tendency. The truth is our judiciary is not free of corruption pervading all Strata of the country's institutions and society. The level of corruption with the humongous amount of money involved in bribing the judges at the tribunal is mind boggling, so many senior lawyers have been alleged in the past of bribing judges but till today non has been brought to book
Family › Re: My Mum Is Unconsolable One Month After by gabbasin(m): 12:18pm On Aug 15, 2023
It's not easy for a mother to lose a child, that's why we all pray for the bereaved for the fortitude to bear the loss, I lost my immediate younger brother when I was 13 years, and it took me years to overcome the loss. I don't know if you have a father, your father can do a lot to help your mum overcome the situation. But in the absence of a husband, a loving sibling of your mum can help get her to move on by constantly checking on her and cheering her up and get her engaged on other exciting activities.

I quite agree with you, the complainant was brainwashed, religion, both traditional and abrahamic ones are tools being used by clerics of those faiths to deceive and brainwash adherents. No one cast juju on the man, he is a blind believer and he was scammed in that blindness of faith

Sports › Re: 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup: Round Of 16 Fixtures Confirmed (full List) by gabbasin(m): 4:45pm On Aug 04, 2023
On paper, these are tough draws for the African teams, but this is football and anything can happen, there will be surprises. I think one African team will spring surprise to make it to the quarters. From what I've seen so far of the 4 African reps, South Africa seems to be the best of the 4, though Nigeria is unbeaten in the group stage, poor finishing of hard to come by chances might be the team's undoing, they need to work on their composure so they can finish off well. South Africa is a more technical team than Nigeria, I hope if the Nigeria team get their tactics right with a bit of luck, they may scale through England

The heat is on the junta, but how the junta will survive this? I don't have an idea, Coup detat should be discouraged in the sub region and Niger's junta should be made an example. If the international community especially ECOWAS failed to rout these usurpers, then the west African region will be a bastion of coupists

Op, don't be mischievous, circumstances differ. The African leaders reffered to here are attending the burial of Queen Elizabeth that's being attended by other world leaders at rhe same time, and they have to attend in same bus for logistic reasons. Did you check out the recent France/Africa summit? Did the African leaders ride in a bus together? It's Russia's opportunity now to turn to Africa as allies with war in Ukraine isolating her from rest of the world. Africa is waiting for another greek gift from Russia, Africa should look inward for her emancipation and development.

Can we know how Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and Pastor Chris Okotie met their estranged wives too, I hope they too will tell us it's holy spirit that showed them their wives too. Love, Money, contentment and fidelity are essentials for a successful marriage, when love fades, money takes care, when money vanishes contentment holds the bond, but when fidelity is no more, trust issue arises and union is bound to colapss

I don't think it is well.
Just look at how they painted Nigeria.
I hope the leadership of Nigeria see this and take steps to re-project a cleaner global image.
If nothing is done, Nigerians will be barred even from entering Ghana in the nearest future.
we always blame everything wrong in the country on the leadership only, most of the reasons given here are caused majorly by the followership, forging documents for the purpose of getting visas, fake bank statements, staying beyond our granted time. We all are architects of our misfortune

Properties › Re: Who is to blame here? Me or my landlord by gabbasin(m): 5:11pm On Jul 13, 2023
You need to go see your landlord and sort out the arrears built in the meter, for every 1,000 naira you recharge, you will get token worth 400 naira. Which means you're paying for someone's debt. That's why it's advisable before moving into an apartment, you need to check if there's arrears built in the meter and sort it out with the landlord at once.
