With the loss of his immunity, let him be prosecuted so he can have the chance to prove that the video is fake. The house of assembly that was supposed to do the needful then failed completely to do their job and protect the dignity of governance, I wonder if our houses of assembly are not a money wasting arm of government, they are supposed to keep in check the executive but in virtually all the states they are accomplices of the governors in monumental corruption. What we have in the states are dictators masquerading as executive governors. With the houses of assembly members in their pockets, it's corruption galore. No wonder Wike could spend billions on his I'll fated presidential bid and no one was asking where he's getting the money from, we as citizens, we see corruption korokoro but we choose to look away as it has become a normal thing to see nothing wrong in a public officer spending way above his means

There's no way or how subsidy will be removed that it won't have impact on the populace. Let this subsidy go at once and let's prepare ourselves for life post petrol subsidy. Opposition will play to the gallery which is expected but they need not criticize a policy they agree with in their own campaign
Crime › Re: Adegoke's Murder: Court Sentences Adedoyin, 2 Others To Death By Hanging by gabbasin(m): 6:04pm On May 30, 2023
This judgement can't stand on appeal because from the fact of the case there's no evidence linking Adedoyin to the death of Adegoke. The judgement is just not to go against public opinion as he has already been convicted in the court of public opinion. Our judges should be courageous enough to give judgements based on facts and not sentiments even if their judgements will go contrary to expectations of the large sections of the public. Same happened in Akure when the prophet of a church popularly known as Sotitobire was convicted for having a hand in the disappearance of a boy in his church without concrete evidence. The conviction expectedly was overturned on appeal as the public had already believed he was involved leading to his Church being torched and vandalised. Adedoyin's conviction is influenced by the mob

I don't know the big deal in cooking for four days, an unimpactful event, how many people were aware of the former Indian record holder, we like hyping and celebrating something inconsequential. We need inventors that will discover new things to help humanity and at the same time bring along economic benefits to Nigeria not a marathon cooking that add next to nothing to our lives
