Sports › Re: Who is The Greatest Nigeria Super Eagles Player To Wear The Number 10 by gabbasin(m):
I have watched these 4 players live, from Henry Nwosu to Mikel Obi, and I can tell you none can match Okocha in term of skill.
Indiscipline never allowed Etim to attain the height he should have reached. He's a good dribbler but not that polished,
For Henry Nwosu, he's a superbrat, making the Green Eagles team at age 17 straight from secondary school ( st Finbarrs college Akoka) and scoring crucial goals for the national team, Henry is a skillful player but he's not at the level of Jay Jay.
Mikel is one of the best midfielder that has ever featured for the national team, very skillful, good ball holder, midfield maestro, arguably after Jay Jay, he's the best midfielder to have adorned the green white jersey of Nigeria.
Jay Jay Okocha, he's simply the best of all

lolz you talikin about distribution and not generation, generation of elect is the main thing
when there's cost reflective tariff by the discos it will draw investment that will impact on all the sectors. The generation, transmission and distribution. The more profitable the business, the more investment it will attract to all the sectors.
Politics › Re: Nigerians Groan In Darkness Despite Power Sector Privatisation, Investments by gabbasin(m): 12:13pm On Dec 29, 2023
One of the problem impeding the growth of the power sector is tariff regulation by government, the federal government should compel the discos to meter all consumers and they should be allowed to fix their tariffs. These will enable investment in the power sector as the return on investment will be guaranteed with cost effective tariffs unlike when FG dictate the tariffs

That's the reason most Lies don't sell abroad. People are armed with wealthy information and they confront you immediately with facts. That's the reason terrible Nigerians hate RUFAI. Meanwhile they keep wondering why the country isn't making progress.

Imagine the number of Lies this Guy would have sold to the GeneraL ignorant public.
Does he know the cost of Boeing 737?
What does it cost to do proper research before rushing out to dish out ill-fated facts.
You are right, lies do sell here easily and that's why some people believe Buhari is dead and replaced by Jubril Al Sudani
Music/Radio › Re: Black Sherif & Others Call For Reduction Of Foreign Music In Ghana by gabbasin(m): 9:47pm On Dec 17, 2023
Catapault:
You are WRONG.

The rise of Afrobeats can be traced to Obasanjo’s impact where around the year 2000, radio stations were ordered to play 80% Nigerian music, to counter the dominance of US/UK R&B and HipHop.

Suddenly a huge demand for local music talent ensued.

That was the beginning of the Afrobeats revolution.
Nigerian music make it to the world scene not because Nigerian government banned foreign music on our airwaves but the content of our guys is world class. As our guys started making classy songs and videos that can be compared to that of their American counterparts, we started craving for our songs and the interest in the foreign music was waning. Let Ghana banned foreign music on their airwaves and see if their music will get type of rave ours is getting. Except they make good music, they're going nowhere.
Music/Radio › Re: Black Sherif & Others Call For Reduction Of Foreign Music In Ghana by gabbasin(m): 5:21pm On Dec 17, 2023
No one banned foreign music in Nigeria before our own artistes make it big at the world stage, Nigerian musicians make world class content that's accepted globally. Until now American songs rule our airwaves but our guys do their homework and create homemade content that blow globally, if Ghanaians want to make to the world stardom, they should make good songs

Having one's building beside or adjacent a storey building in Nigeria is like sitting on a keg of gunpowder. We've been witnessing these sad occurrences of recent and I've been expecting our govts at the local level to be up and doing by sending out the agencies in charge of things like this to go look out for water tank towers in their domains to ascertain the integrity of these structures. Any water tank stand beyond 3 metres should be approved before construction and should be pass integrity test after construction. These are avoidable deaths if those in authority know why they are there

Something is really wrong with our system, how can a minister acting on behalf of the country enter into a contract of this humongous amount with an entity, without the authority of the President and the contract will be binding on Nigeria. There's lapses in governance in Nigeria

We should amend our constitution to make it mandatory for anyone elected or appointed to political office to publicly declare his/her assets, what's the essence of asset declaration when it's hidden from the public. We are not ready to fight corruption in this country. Corrupt people won't fight corruption

Politics › Re: Ondo Commissioner Alleges Forgery Of Akeredolu’s Signature On Official Document by gabbasin(m): 8:17pm On Dec 08, 2023
What a funny country, the constitution is clear in situations like this, but because of personal interests, those concerned fail to do the needful. A governor that's said to be recuperating outside the state he governs has not been seen in public for months. Is this what the constitution says? Transmit power to your deputy so he can act in that capacity till you're fit to take back the reigns. How are we sure it's the governor signing those documents and not his wife or children. We don't lack a workable constitution but men who can't follow the constitution. We ain't serious about rule of law in Nigeria, we behave as if this is a lawless country, the house of assembly with power to do the needful are the ones behaving as if the governor can even rule the state if he's dead. We all in this country are hypocrites, this same governor called for resignation of late Yar'Adua then when he too became incapacitated and failed to resign.
Crime › Re: Pastor Abiodun Sunday Oluwadare Kills Pregnant Wife For Rituals In Ekiti by gabbasin(m): 3:01pm On Dec 01, 2023
Our police can exaggerate a lot, I don't think this is a case of killing for ritual, it might be a domestic violence leading to death. At least from the news, the suspect called the victim's sister inlaw when he found out that the victim is dead.

Politics › Re: How Pramod Mittal Got A $500 Million Bailout In Nigeria by gabbasin(m): 11:16pm On Nov 21, 2023
My country is corruption personified. Nobody cares for the survival of Nigeria because almost all our politicians have other countries to run to leaving hapless masses to suffer their misrule.
Politics › Re: Aisha Yesufu Reacts As Governor Otti Spends ₦927M On Food, Others by gabbasin(m): 6:35pm On Nov 20, 2023
The rate at which the President and governors are allocating scarce resources to themselves to the detriment of the masses yearning for good governance so that they can be lifted out of poverty shows that this country is irredeemable. When you see the budgets for their upkeep you'll wonder if these people do care about the common man, you guys are living in luxury with public funds while the masses lack the basic things of life. Nigeria's salvation will not come from these politicians but from the masses themselves. I have long lost hope in any of our politicians.

if my son doesn't believe in the country I am the president, then I am not worthy of the president of that country. A president whose son is representing another country in international football, it's morally wrong nau. Imagine Liberia playing USA in a world cup. final.

Business › Re: 11 Countries That Are Buying Products From Nigeria Right Now by gabbasin(m): 5:58pm On Nov 16, 2023
I am not really impressed, we are exporting raw materials in agriculture and mining products, except for Liberia that import our finished products like cosmetics, alcoholic beverages and sandals. We need to engage in turning most of these raw materials we export into finished goods, thereby enhancing employment and adding value to our exports a la foreign exchange. Most of these countries with sound economy are major exporter of finished products. We still have a long way to go in turning our country to an industrialized one
Family › Re: Good Advice Please. Do I Have A Case In This Matter? by gabbasin(m): 2:09pm On Nov 14, 2023
Says a lazy guy with sense of entitlement, better go find work to do or go establish your own Business. Your brother came up with an idea of venturing in a business in your family compound and you feel you are entitled to a percentage of his income, I doubt if yourself contribute a dime to assist him at the initial stage. Assuming your brother is lazy like you, he won't be where he is today. Go and find work to do so you can get yourself an income and stop harassing your brother.

Travel › Re: Saudi Cancels Visa Of Air Peace's 264 Passengers After Arriving In Jeddah by gabbasin(m): 7:34am On Nov 14, 2023
To even think President Tinubu was in Saudi when this happened is an added insult and embarrassement to Nigeria, these foreign airlines want to monopolize the Bilateral Air Service Agreement (BASA) signed with Nigeria by their respective countries. Saudi Air couldn't compete with Air Peace on this route that's why the authorities in Saudi returned the aircraft with the passengers. Air peace offers cheap flight tickets compared to her foreign counterparts

The man think say him wise, the oyibo immigration officer can see through his lies. Why not postpone the vacation till after your wife put to bed. Your deportation is fait accompli
